Chapter 1

They birds were chirping their usual song. The sun was rising, revealing a mix of orange, red, and yellow into the once starry night. And the sound of a veryobnoxious alarm was ringing throughout the heeler's home, come from a room where a very sleepy blue heeler lay, swating at the alarm clock trying to shut it off
"ughhhh...stopppppp..." The blue heeler groaned as she continued to try to turn off the alarm, with little to no success. Finally admitting defeat and fighting the comfort of her bed, she sat up and finally turned off the annoying ringing
"Stupid thing..." she muttered to herself as she hoisted herself up and off her bed to get ready for the day. After doing her usual morning stretch, she made her way into the hallway towards her and her sisters bathroom, hoping she beat her sister to it. Only to find the door shut and locked
"Bingoooooo!!! Hurry upppp! I need to use the bathroom!" She yelled at the door, hoping her sister would hear her over her music blasting
"Give me a second bluey! I just need to finish brushing my teeth!" Bingo yelled back after turning her music down. Bluey's ears perked up when she heard her sister yell back, causing her to let out a relieved sigh. Not even a second later, the door opens to reveal bingo standing in the doorway, looking at her with a blank expression
"Bathrooms open" bingo said as she walked away. Allowing bluey to scurry into the bathroom to officially start to get ready for the day ahead of her

A few minutes later, bluey was making her way down the stairs to the kitchen to get some brekky
"Morning sleeping beauty" bandit joked as bluey walking into the kitchen, earning a small chuckle out of her
"Good morning dad" she said, walking to the fridge with an eye roll
"You got any plans today, blues?" Bandit asked, taking a sip from his coffee cup
"Yeah, I plan to meet up with MacKenzie later today and go to see that new movie that just released" she said, grabbing some milk for her cereal
"God, will you two just date already!" Bingo said, causing bluey to become a red mess and almost drop her bowl
"Bingo!" Bluey yelled, glaring at her sister, while bandit proceeded to blow coffee out of his nose from the suddenness of bingos statement
"What? You guys have been 'hanging out' for years now, and yet you guys haven't made any moves on each other! We all know you like him and that he likes you!" Bingo said as she waved around her hands and spoon to emphasize her point. "Plus, you two would be so cute together!" She stated, now pointing her spoon at bluey
"Bingo! You can't just tell your sister to confess her feelings when she isn't ready" Bandit said, recovering from the coffee that flew out of his nose
"Yeah!" Bluey said, trying to hide her blush
Bingo turned to her dad and gave him a look that would you think he had three heads. "They have liked each other since primary school, even I saw it! and I was only 4!" Bingo said, looking from her dad to bluey and then back
"I don't know how to tell him I like him! I'm afraid he might reject me" bluey said, slumping into her chair with a look of sadly taking over
" bluey, he won't reject you. I promise! He cares about you so much you, and he would do anything to make you happy. He wants to be with you. He just doesn't know how to tell or show you yet" Bingo said, getting up from her spot and walking over to bluey while placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's going to be okay" she said, smiling at bluey, earning a smile from the bluey heeler
"Thanks, bingo," bluey said, hugging her sister
"No problem, sis! Now go get your man!" She yelled cause blue heeler to laugh
"On it!" Bluey said in response as she got up and put her dishes away before running out the door to MacKenzie's
"Good lucky sis!" Bingo yelled as bluey ran out the door. Bandit, on the other hand, was still trying to figure out what just happened
"W-what just happened?" He asked, looking at his youngest daughter, hoping to get an answer
"Bluey's going to get a boyfriend" she said, acting like nothing had just happened. Their attention quickly moved to the stairs as Chili made her way down the stairs yawning.
"What did I miss?" She asked mid yawn, looking at bingo and then bandit
"Alot" bandit responded with a soft laugh

Bluey was running for what felt like forever as she was making her way out to MacKenzie's
"Why does he have to live so far away ya'll she groaned as his house came into view, making her tail wag as she ran faster.she finally reached his house she spent the first few minutes catching her breath and contemplating if she should go up to his door and knock. She finally found the courage and when up to knock, which resulted in what seemed to be the sound of someone running to the door
"I got it!" She heard as the footsteps sounded louder and louder until finally the door opened, revealing MacKenzie
"Oh! Hey bluey! What are you doing here? Were not supposed to meet up until 4" he said, tilting his head to the side, causing bluey to blush
"I uhhhh... wanted to ask you a question! Yeah" she said with a nervous laugh, hoping MacKenzie wouldn't see her blush
"Oh, okay! What did you want to ask?"
'Here goes nothing' she thought yo herself as she took a deep breath "Ilikeyouandnotasinafriendbutasinapartnerandiwanttospendalmostallmytimewithyouandbewithyou24/7!" She said, breathing in deeply.
"I.... uhhh, could you repeat that, I could barely understand you" MacKenzie said, scratching the back of his head with a small smile on his face
"I like like you MacKenzie, I have since primary, and I haven't had the gut to tell you. I really want to be more than friends, scratch that, i want to be more than best friends. I want to be partners, lovers, something special. I love you" bluey said, looking away from him, feeling ashamed. why? She had no clue why
"Bluey...." MacKenzie said, bringing her chin towards him so he could see her face. "I love you too" he said before placing a light kiss on her lips, shocking her. After a few seconds, MacKenzie was about to pull away, thinking he did something wrong, only to have bluey wrap her arms around him neck and push back into the kiss. He quickly wrapped his arms around blueys waist and pushed back into the kiss, leaving the two kissing and in each others arms. After what felt like forever for the two, they finally pulled apart from the kiss and looked into each other's eyes
"Wow.... that was -"
"Amazing" bluey said, smiling as she finished his sentence
"Now I can say I'm the luckiest guy in the world" MacKenzie said with a small laugh
"Oh yeah? Why's that?" Bluey said, raising an eyebrow in a joking manner
"I have the prettiest girl in the world as my girlfriend" he said, smiling at her. The smile didn't last long before bluey pulled the both of them into another kiss. Man, was she glad Bingo told her that she should just tell him
"I love you"
