14 Day OTP Challenge
author
Summary
I challenged myself to write about 14 of my different OTPs to get myself writing again.    Want to do the challenge yourself? Just think of 14 couples you ship (may repeat a few if you can't think of enough) and write a drabble, about 1,000-4,000 words each. Then every day for two weeks post your ficlet about your ship!
Note
Of course the first couple I had to write about was my ultimate OTP! Seblaine! This one is just a little drabble about if Blaine would have transferred back to Dalton Academy during his senior year (WHICH HE SHOULD HAVE). I hope you enjoy!

Always - Hinny

“Harry, don’t make me be the sensible one here today,” Ginny said with a chuckle.

“You’re saying I’m not being sensible?” Harry asked.

“I’m saying you probably won’t be when you see Draco,” Ginny said as she walked over to her husband and straightened his tie.

“I think he and I can put away our differences for today,” Harry said. “Or at least, I can.”

“Oh yeah, you sound much more mature already,” Ginny said with a smirk.

“You look beautiful, by the way,” Harry said. Ginny smiled and looked down at the lilac dress she was wearing.

“Yeah? Lily helped me pick the dress out,” Ginny said.

“Yes, the dress is lovely. But I meant you look beautiful. That’s nothing new though, really,” Harry said. He walked forward and wrapped his arms around his wife.

“Harry Potter, the chosen one, the boy who lived, are you aware that you are a kiss-ass?” Ginny asked with a laugh.

“Only with you,” Harry said, making Ginny let out a loud laugh.

“You’re a git,” Ginny said, pulling away from her husband.

Harry smiled and kissed her hand before he fully let her go.

“Dad, we’re almost ready,” James said, walking into the room.

            “How’s Al?” Harry asked.

“He’s nervous, but fine. I just left him. He’s fussing with his hair,” James said.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen him do that,” Ginny said.

            “Neither have I,” James said.

“Maybe we should go check on him,” Harry said.

“Good idea,” James said. “I’m going to go find Lea before the ceremony starts.”

Ginny kissed her oldest son on the cheek before he went off to find his girlfriend. “Let’s go see the groom-to-be, hmm?”

Harry and Ginny walked out of Ginny’s former bedroom and up the stair case into what used to be Ron’s old room. One of the best parts about having weddings at the Burrow was that there were always enough rooms for people to get ready in.

“Oh, Albus, you look wonderful,” Ginny said as she watched her son adjust his hair in the mirror.

“Do I?” Albus asked. He turned behind him to glance at his parents.

“You do,” Harry said with a smile and a nod.

“Thanks,” Albus said. He visibly relaxed and smiled at his parents.

“Oh, I can’t believe you’re getting married,” Ginny said, pulling her son into a hug.

“Mom, you’re getting mushy,” Albus said with a chuckle as he hugged her back.

“It’s my baby boy’s wedding day, I’m allowed to,” she said, swatting him on the arm.

“I suppose,” Albus said with a smirk. “And you, Dad? You going to get all mushy?”

“I’m doing my best not to,” Harry said with a dry chuckle.

“Aw, you gonna shed a tear when your son walks down the aisle?” Albus teased, trying to get his Dad to crack.

“Stop, will you?” Harry said with a smile, wiping at his eyes.

“Your first child to get married!” Albus exclaimed overdramatically. “Who would’ve thought it would be me?”

Albus let out a laugh at the thought and sat down on the bed in the room.

Ginny sat down on one side of him and Harry on the other.

“We knew it would be you,” Ginny said, taking Albus’ hand. “From, oh when was it, Harry? Was it his and Scorpius’ fifth year?”

“Yeah, I think that was it,” Harry agreed.

“How did you know?” Albus asked, shocked.

“You looked at him the same way I look at your mother,” Harry said.

“And he looked at you the way I always used to look at your father, before we got together,” Ginny said.

“Scorpius looked at me like he was a teenage girl?” Albus asked, smiling.

Ginny hit him on the arm again.

“Oh, hush you,” Ginny said. “Are you nervous?”

“A little,” Albus admitted. “Is everyone here?”

“I believe so, yes,” Harry said.

“Uncle George and Aunt Angelina?” Albus asked.

“Yes, they got here last night, remember? With their kids and Uncle Bill and his family,” Ginny said.

“And Uncle Seamus and Uncle Dean and Uncle Neville?” Albus asked.

“All here as well, with their families,” Harry said.

“And Lucy and Molly and Hugo and Rose and--,” Albus started.

“Yes, all your cousins. The whole Weasley gang is here. Don’t worry. Even Uncle Dudley and his family are here. Relax, Al,” Harry said.

Albus took a deep breath and nodded his head.

            “And McGonagall?” Albus asked.

“Yes,” Ginny said with a laugh. “She’s right up front.”

            “Good,” Albus said.

There was a knock on the door and James popped his head in.

“Are we ready in here?” James asked.

“I think so, yeah,” Albus said. “Scorpius ready?”

“Yeah, he’s headed down there now with his Dad,” James said.

“Wedding party all ready?” Albus asked.

“You mean all three of us?” James asked with a smile. “Yeah, we’re all here.”

James opened the door more to show that Lily and Teddy were standing behind him. Lily waved at her older brother and Teddy winked at him.

“You’re marrying my cousin and I’m marrying yours,” Teddy said. “Weird. We’ll be doubly related.”

“Technically, Scorpius is your second cousin, but whatever,” Albus said as he stood up. He looked in the mirror one more time to straighten his tie. “All right. Here we go.”

~O~

The ceremony was lovely. Both Harry and Ginny teared up, but neither cried. Ginny insisted that crying consisted of tears spilling out of the eyes and her tears certainly did not well up enough for that. Harry thought that he saw a tear spill down his wife’s cheek but Ginny informed him that he must be mistaken.

As the reception started, however, Ginny did full well cry when Albus asked to dance with her right after he danced with Scorpius. And when Ginny lost it, so did Harry. He sat next to Ron and Hermione as Ron did his best not to cry, and Hermione rubbed Harry’s back while she cried into a tissue.

Ginny returned to the table after the dance and Hermione helped her fix up her makeup. Harry held her hand and the two of them watched their son dance with his new husband some more. They also watched their eldest son dance with his girlfriend on the dance floor. Lea was a Muggleborn who was in the year behind James at Hogwarts. She was a Gryffindor as well and had bright red hair. McGongall was pleasantly shocked when she first saw the two of them roaming the halls together at Hogwarts. James Potter and a Muggleborn redhead. It sure brought back wonderful memories for her.

Later Lily danced with both of her brothers on the dance floor, and then her father. Ginny managed to keep all of her tears in that time. Either that, or there were none left to cry. Ginny danced with all of her brothers as well, in addition to Fred II.

Draco came over to the table that Harry and Ginny were sitting at with Ron and Hermione. He shook Harry’s hand and the two of them started talking about how wonderful their sons were and how happy they were together. Ginny smiled and joined in the conversation as she entwined her arm with Harry’s. Ginny was very glad that she didn’t have to be the referee to a screaming match at her son’s wedding.

Towards the end of the evening, when Harry had finished dancing with McGonagall, he walked over to his wife who was sitting with George and Angelina.

“I don’t believe I’ve had the pleasure of dancing with you this evening,” Harry said, extending his hand to her. “May I have this dance?”

“You may,” Ginny said. She rose from her seat with a smile and led Harry over to the dance floor.

Harry wrapped his arm around her waist and took her other hand in his own. They swayed to the music playing around them. Ginny rested her head on Harry’s shoulder and closed her eyes.

            “This was wonderful,” Ginny said.

“It was, wasn’t it?” Harry said.

“You didn’t quarrel with Draco once,” Ginny said.

“I know. I’m quite proud of myself,” Harry said.

Ginny chuckled and looked up at Harry.

“He is family now, you know,” Ginny said.

            “Figures, doesn’t it?” Harry asked.

“What do you mean?” Ginny said.

“It feels like I’m related to pretty much everyone else I went to Hogwarts with, now,” Harry said with a chuckle.

Ginny laughed as well and smiled up at her husband.

“I’m still your favorite though, right?” Ginny asked.

            “Always,” Harry said.

He leaned in and kissed his wife sweetly on the lips.
