A Night In New York - Chris & Sebastian

You were attending a party at Tony Stark's with your boyfriend, Chris, who you had been dating for a few months. You were sitting at a long table next to him, the lights low. He was wearing a baby blue baseball cap and a white t-shirt that strained against his large muscles. He was taking sips occasionally from the tall glass of beer in front of him on the table, your hand hooked over his bicep. You were listening to all the other people at the table talking about sports and their teams.

You leaned into him and spoke low once someone mentioned 'the Lions', "Who is that?"

He chuckled and dipped his head toward you, his voice low as well, "Detroit. Football." He took another sip of beer.

You chortled, "I only know the Patriots."

He huffed out a laugh and smiled. "I love you.", he cooed and kissed your lips softly. His own lips were so soft.

A while later, you had told Chris that you would see him at his apartment later as you were going to go meet up with your friend, Courtney.

She was a taller, sassy girl a few years younger than you donning bright auburn hair with blue streaks, styled in an adorable pixie cut. You got along 'swimmingly', both of you being Pisces. She was your partner in mischievous crime and your biggest supporter; since most people didn't approve of or understand you having two boyfriends.

The guys were close friends and had no quarrels about you also being with the other. You and Sebastian had just started dating about a week ago, after your pining for him since shortly after you starting seeing Chris.

You and Courtney were walking down the nearly empty streets of New York late that night; making your usual jokes and laughing way too loud. You didn't know where you were going yet, just wandering around to maybe find a diner to have coffee and be way too loud for the other patrons' liking.

You passed a window at a sports bar and stopped in your tracks when you saw Sebastian sitting right next to the window at a table in the low light. He was with friends, but they were obscured on the other side of the table by the exterior wall.

You waved at him through the window, your voice shrill, "Hiiiiiii, baby!"

Courtney giggled.

He wasn't looking and you didn't want to knock or pound on the window, since his attention was the only attention you were trying to grab.

"Should I flash him?", you laughed.

"YEEEES!", Courtney said, her voice guttural and enthusiastic.

You lifted your shirt and waited only a second before he turned his head, his eyes wide. Then he smiled brightly at you as you lowered your shirt. Courtney was howling with laughter.

You placed your hands on the window, grinning excitedly. He stroked at one from the other side of the glass with his curled fingers, scrunching his nose up, smiling. You wanted to feel his touch so badly. You said loudly, "Come out here!"

He started making funny faces and acting like he couldn't understand you.

You hadn't seen where there was an entrance to the sports bar was so you said, "Or tell me where to get in!"

He was still playing dumb.

You started to feel hurt that he wasn't trying to be near you right now; as though he didn't want you enough to get around the barrier of glass between you to touch you.

You shouted at him, "I fucking hate you!"

His face turned upset and he turned away from you, ignoring you.

You immediately regretted what you said in your hurt, because you didn't hate him. You were trying to get his attention again to apologize, but he acted like you weren't there. You felt heartbroken because you had been waiting for so long to be with him and you felt like you had just lost him forever with such nasty words... And you realized he had probably just been joking around. Had you just been patient... But now he wanted nothing to do with you.
