NOT A CHAPTER
Okay I think this has gone on long enough. I’ve received so many comments (mostly from haters) about this story. Now, I can spend the entire day arguing with you Tony haters but I won’t because it would be a complete waste of time and energy to argue my point to a group of people who are clearly unwilling to listen. That being said, I will simplify what I wish to say into a few points:
1. This is primarily a Team Tony fic. It is stated as clear as day in the tags that it is Team Ironman and that it is not Steve friendly. If you haters don’t like to read a fic where positive light is shone on Tony Stark, by all means, click the back button and leave the fic altogether. Nobody is forcing you to read this fic.
2. As one of you said, it’s a matter of opinion. True, but just because you are entitled to an opinion does not mean you should go blabbering it everywhere. I may not like Steve Rogers but I don’t search out fics where it’s pro Steve Rogers and start bashing those fics for being pro Steve Rogers. If I come across a fic I don’t like, I simply click the back button.
3. Being a fan of a character doesn’t mean being blind to all their flaws. If you cannot even acknowledge that your favorite character has done something wrong, then I suppose you are used to putting your idols on a pedestal.
4. I would like to emphasize that this is fan fiction. Meaning that the content of the story is entirely up to me. I have looked at the facts presented by the movie (again I will not bother arguing even if I do have several essays in defense of Tony Stark) and have chosen to write my own aftermath. In no way am I being paid for this story and in no way are you haters paying me for writing this story. It is for my ownpersonal enjoyment and for the enjoyment of those who share similar sentiments as I do. Again, if you don’t like a fic, there is an utterly simple solution, one that requires less energy than typing out a long paragraph full of hate directed towards a fic.
5. If you haters can find or spare the time to rewatch an entire movie just so you can add yet another derogatory comment, I suppose I should congratulate you on your effort in deciding to be condescending.
To all the Tony supporters and supporters of this story, I really thank you and appreciate your defense. I apologize that you might have wasted your time on these people and their nonsense.
To the Tony haters, I sincerely hope that the group of you will gain the ability to decide whether your opinion is necessary or not. If you wish to criticize my writing or my grammar, feel free, I am not so arrogant as to believe that I am perfect in my language. Freedom of speech aside, I believe you should respect that there is a time and place for certain opinions and such condemnation is completely unnecessary. Especially if you are anti-Tony’s, since then it makes me wonder, what exactly are you doing reading a pro-Tony fic?
