As the moon rose high in the sky, Y/N found herself in the midst of a battle of wills with Cassiel, the pint-sized demon with a fiery spirit. The task of putting the little one to bed was proving to be a Herculean feat, as Cassiel was determined to stay up and play.
Y/N knew that this was a common struggle for toddlers, but with Cassiel's demonic nature, it was clear that this was going to be a challenge Babysitting chaos.
Tantrums are not uncommon for toddlers, especially when it comes to resisting sleep. It is important to understand that at this age, children are exploring boundaries and asserting their independence. Cassiel, being a demon toddler, may exhibit even more stubbornness and defiance than a human child of the same. Being a demon toddler, Cassiel may have different triggers and comforts compared to human children. Y/n was aware of all this very well but had hoped that maybe, maybe because cassiel's a demon that she's more mature but that's of course not true a toddler is a toddler human or not. However, Y/N was not one to back down from a challenge, armed with her knowledge and experience in childcare, she was determined to succeed.
As she sat with Cassiel, she explained the importance of sleep, hoping to appeal to the little one's sense of reason. But as expected, Cassiel was not easily swayed. Y/N tried reading her a book, but that only seemed to make her more restless.
In a moment of desperation, Y/N decided to let Cassiel run free for 30 minutes, hoping that the exercise would tire her out. And it worked! For 4 minutes! After another 30 by some miracle of the small foam sword that cassiel's been given by slenderman, Y/n let cassiel play for another 30 minutes which cassiel used by running around with her foam sword yelling "Supwise attack!" At any and every stuffed animal in sight. Y/n gently tucked cassiel in bed and dimed the lights and shut the door ajar and went off to crash on the couch till the others arrive.
