Training aftermath

Tony moved through the tower with ooh’s and aah’s, huffing and puffing his sore muscles away. It didn’t work. His teammates had laughed at him and told him to do some more of the heavy lifting around the tower.
On movie night, the team had found out that comedies provided even more laughter than usual, given Tony’s entire body ached through his laughter, making him wince in pain and laugh harder.
Soon it became a challenge to make Tony laugh, for as long as his abs killed him as much as they did.
The beauty of pestering Tony with it was that he couldn’t retaliate at all. He was too sore to even lift a finger, really.
Clint had the days of his life, figuring out new ways to make Tony, and in turn the team, laugh.

Tonight was another movie night, but thankfully his muscles were finally recovering. He had, to his regrets, but not really, already promised to train with the super soldiers sometime soon. Those damn baby blue eyes of Rogers had definitely influenced his common sense.

Natasha and Clint were already snuggled up in the corner of the couch. Phil and Maria had come over too and were sitting awkwardly on the couch next to Bruce and the couple. Sam was sitting sandwiched between Phil and Steve, who was sitting next to Bucky.
“Tony! Get your ass over here. You wanted movie night so hurry up.” Natasha shouted towards the kitchen.
“Slow your roll. Impatient much.” Tony tutted, walking out of the kitchen with a huge bowl of popcorn.
He eyed the couch and grumbled, “I own this house and I can’t even sit anywhere!”
Not waiting for anyone to make space, Tony grabbed a big cushion and planted himself between Bucky’s legs and started munching on his popcorn.
JARVIS started the movie, which was an action movie this time.
The team knew this wouldn’t be a quiet night. The team saw action movies as more of a debate than entertainment. No one ever agreed with what happened in the movies.
Never.

Halfway through the movie Tony felt Bucky’s fingers tangling through his hair. Tony shuddered before leaning into the touch.
It was probably out of habit, Tony told himself.
Bucky continued combing through Tony’s hair for the rest of the movie.

Steve glanced down at one point, noticing Bucky’s hand gently carding through the brown locks. He also noticed Tony leaning in. He looked relaxed.
Steve squeezed Bucky’s side, who then glanced over to Steve, smiling back at the blond.
He gave Bucky a small kiss on the lips and turned his attention, or at least half of it, back to the movie. The other half was well spent watching Tony and Bucky.
They looked adorable.

The real action part of the movie started. And so did the comments.
Steve sighed, knowing he wouldn’t be able to hear the movie now anyway.
“He could’ve just stood up! Pussy!” Natasha yelled at the screen as a man got shot twice and ‘died’.
“No one bleeds out that soon.” Bruce commented coolly.

“He could’ve easily shot him already! Why do people always wait for the other one to stand up in the final fight!” Bucky huffed in irritation, "So inefficient." He grumbled at the screen as the good guy waited for the bad guy to get up and resume the fight.
After the good guy won, got the girl and the credits started rolling on screen, everyone decided to call it a night.

“You looked adorable.” Steve said as he and Bucky entered their room.
“Yeah... He even leaned in a little. Does that mean anything? Should we... maybe-, we could maybe, ask him? Like, during training or, when we’re alone with him?” Bucky asked.
“Yeah, I mean, maybe. But, maybe we could just-, let’s just be around him some more, okay?” Steve proposed.
“Sure thing, doll.” Bucky hummed, crawling into the bed besides Steve.
