Alcohol + Steve = whiny super soldier

Steve turned around in his bed and groaned. The thumping of his heart seemed to have relocated to his head. He reached out for Bucky, but only found empty bedsheets that were still a little warm. Bucky must not have left long ago.
Steve opened his eyes for a quick peek and quickly shut them again when the sunlight shone offensively bright in his eyes. He slapped his hand over is eyes to dim it further.
“Hmmmm!” Steve groaned louder.
“What’s wrong?” Bucky asked, emerging from the bathroom. His wet hair stuck to his face and he was only wearing black boxers. He looked amazing, but Steve had to close his eyes too quick to really admire the view.
“I think I’m sick.” Steve moaned.
“Sick? Hmm. How could that be?” Bucky huffed, smirking as he walked over to Steve, sitting down next to him.
“Yeah, Buck. I feel terrible!”
“That’s called a hangover, you wimp, and I don’t know how much you drank yesterday, but given you’re having a hangover now, it must’ve been a big amount. Don’t do that again.”
“No, I won’t. I hate drinking!” Steve exclaimed.
“Yeah, for now.” Bucky muttered, returning to the bathroom.

When Bucky walked into his room again Steve was still in bed, his face pressed into the pillow and the blankets covering almost every inch of him. Only his messy blond hair stuck out above the covers.
“You should eat something. That always helps.” Bucky advised before pulling the covers off of Steve.
It earned a mean grumble from Steve that made no sense to Bucky, but it worked. Steve rolled out of bed, his blond hair sticking up in the strangest of angles. Like he’d stuck his fingers in an electricity outlet. Or he was trying to imitate Einstein.

“You look terrible.” Bucky noted.
“Yeah, thanks.” He grumbled in response.
When both men were finally dressed (Steve took way longer than usual. He whined way more than usual too), they set out to make themselves some breakfast.
With their plates full, Bucky took a seat and ate like a civilized being. Steve, however, wolved his food down like he hadn’t eaten in days.
Bucky rolled his eyes.

“Good morning, soldiers.” Tony saluted, strolling into the kitchen in nothing but his boxers.
Bucky looked him up and down before saying, “You forgot your clothes, Tony.”
Steve just grunted and inhaled more food.
“What’s wrong with him?” Tony asked, making himself a coffee.
“Hangover.”
“Really?” Tony said excitedly, “I didn’t think that was possible with your serum. That’s amazing!” He said, poking in Steve’s sides and inspecting his face, still wearing nothing but his underwear.
“It is definitely not.” Steve groaned, batting at Tony’s prodding hands before fetching himself a glass of orange juice.
“Apparently he gets really grumpy when he’s hungover.” Bucky snorted.
“Tony?” Steve asked as he eyed Tony down.
“Yes, dear?”
“Why are you in your underwear?”
“Why not? It’s my tower.”
“That doesn’t explain anything.” Bucky deadpanned.
“It just didn’t feel like a ‘pants’ kind of day. Leave me be, thank you very much.” Tony responded, helping himself to some food too.
The three men stumbled around in the kitchen for a while and then sat down at the table, all three shoveling in their breakfast in silence.
“So, busy today?” Steve asked Tony.
“Neh, Bruce won’t be in the lab today, said he wanted to get outside. Blegh.” Tony said as he scrunched up his face, “Maybe I’ll start a new project or something…”
“Maybe you’d like to come and train with us? You need to be able to hold your own when you don’t have your suit around.” Steve said. He felt a lot better than he did this morning. The serum and some food probably did wonders. After feeling like shit for about an hour, Steve was really done with it.

“What, you don’t think I can hold my own?” Tony asked, tilting his eyebrow and smirking.
“We just thought some training might be good for you.” Bucky butted in.
“Well, I’m ready to go then.” Tony said smiling.
“You are gonna get dressed first, just like we are. See you there in twenty minutes okay?” Steve said.
Tony huffed at that, but did get dressed and was in the gym five minutes early. With pants.

“You think he can fight? Like, at all?” Bucky asked Steve while rummaging through his closet for gym attire.
“Well, with his suit he’s good. Without, I don’t know. I guess we’ll see.”
“Yeah. We’ll teach him, then.”
