Chapter-8

A thousand things were going on in my head, but one thing that confused me the most was why I felt relieved. The unpredictability excited me. And that was the only emotion I could hold onto, or else I would lose my sanity.

After a 10-minute drive, we reached the destination. It was a palace straight outside of a storybook. I have never been to Buckingham palace, but from the pictures; this is how it would look.

"You said you weren't rich. And this is where you live?" Caleb's said while his eyes glued to the palace.

"He doesn't live here," Theo said while looking at me. He knew I didn't, but it looked like he wanted confirmation from me.

"I don't," I said while shifting my eyes from Theo to Caleb.

We stopped right in front of the gigantic gate. The man took out the same block key that he used in prison. The gate opened, and we drove in.

There were huge, beautiful gardens, and then there was Nina sitting on one of the garden chairs.

She's been here all this while.

"NINA!"

I don't know what has gotten into me, but I screamed her name at the top of my lungs.

The van stopped. I got off and ran to her.

"Sylvester."

Her eyes like always full of love and kindness, looking into mine. The world stopped. I don't care where I am anymore; I am standing in front of her, and at this moment, that is all that matters.
