As the early morning sun peaks over the horizon shining on a little house in the woods as it shines into a window on the second floor.
Y/n was seen peacefully sleeping in her queen bed wearing an eye mask over her eyes with her hair in a loose bun as she snores.
Calming jazz music plays in the air from a small red radio that plays on a small table next to one of her lounge chairs that are placed at the foot of her bed.
A large vase filled with sunflowers and roses was spotted next to the small radio.
She sleeps with numerous blankets thrown over her bed, and her head rests on the many pillows with different patterns.
The lights turned off in her crowded room full of decor collected over the years along with different styled furniture placed around the room, stray orange light peaks through the window, and a glint shines off of three different colored dog leashes hanging on her door.
Her door opens slowly with a creak as a trio of small little figures creeps into her room very quietly one splits off from the group towards the light switch.
While the others head towards the foot of the bed where the sleeping candle was sleeping.
The duo was soon revealed to be the little sunflowers Lotus and Briar who peek through the bed frame made out of railings at their adopted mother.
They carefully climb up with some struggle before standing on top of the railing of the bed with bated breath as they look down at their mother, Y/n.
Lotus: "Wake up ma!" He yells as he and Briar leap onto Y/n from the railings as their sister, Poppy turns on the light from across the room, before rushing over and leaping onto the bed to join her siblings who start to jump on the bed.
Y/n jolted up in surprise as she rips the eye mask off her head.
Y/n: "What-?! What happened?!" She exclaimed as her sunflowers kept jumping up and down on her bed Y/n looked at them with an explanation.
Briar: "Get up mama! Get up!" She says, ignoring her mother's question as she's launched into the air by her siblings.
She quickly grabs onto the ceiling fan above the bed and she slowly spins around from the ceiling fan holding on tight so as to not fall to the floor as she giggles to herself.
Y/n: "Let me sleep." She groggily grabs one of her many pillows from beside her, twists away from them, and places the pillow on top of her head as she tries to get some sleep as the sunflowers keep jumping on her bed.
Lotus: "Maaa!!!" He whines as he flops onto Y/n from the top covers.
Poppy: "Don't go back to sleep!" She says as she stumbles her way towards the pillow Y/n stuck her head under and tries to lift the pillow up.
Y/n: "Why so early?" She croaks out as Poppy struggles to tug the pillow out of Y/N's grasp.
Briar: "Did you forget?! We're going to see Daddy today!" She says cheerfully as Y/n peaks an eye from under the pillow at Briar who is still hanging onto the fan.
Lotus standing on one of her lounge chairs with a pillow in hand as he prepares to leap at Briar, Y/n sighs to herself.
Y/n: "Ok! Ok! I'm getting up!" She slowly gets out of bed as the Sunflowers cheer before Lotus launches himself at Briar with a pillow they fell to the floor with a *THUD*.

It cuts to Y/n walking down the dirt road wearing brown shorts, a light brown dress shirt tied mid-way to her stomach with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows yellow gloves, and black knee-high length boots.
She held a picnic basket on one arm as she walked with the Sunflowers who were happily running around their adopted mother, excited to see their father that lives deep in the woods.
Poppy: "Ma? Do you think he'll like it?" She says worriedly as she looks down at a poorly wrapped box on her hands as they walk.
Y/n: "Of course, he will." She reassures Poppy as she ruffles the top of her head "Regardless of how it looks, he will love it because you made it for him."
Briar: "Do you think we can spend time at home with Dad for a few hours?" She questions as she walks alongside Lotus who was waving a giant stick around as he walked in front of the candle woman.
Y/n: "I don't know, we just have to ask him when we get there." She says as she looks over at the sunflowers before looking around quickly, recognizing some of the areas.
Lotus looks in front of him with wide eyes and drops the stick he was waving around.
Lotus: "OH! OH! We're getting close to Dad!" He shouts as he grabs Y/n's hand and begins trying to tug her forward to walk faster causing his sisters to get excited as well.
They rush around the candle woman as they walk onto a dirt path that strays off from the main path into a darker part of the woods with trees covered in thorns.

Joyful music plays in the morning air as it shows Elder Kettle tending to his side of the garden that hasn't been harvested yet as Y/n's side of the garden has already been harvested from a few weeks ago when Chips and Hilda visited his granddaughter Y/n.
Who left the house a few hours ago to visit Cagney with her sunflowers.
Elder Kettle: "🎶I love my little veggies. They're my babies, I would say🎶"
Elder Kettle: "🎶I sprinkle them with love and care🎶" he sings as he sprinkles his part of the garden with some fertilizer "🎶Each and every day🎶"
Elder Kettle: "🎶I shine their little veggie skin🎶" he sings as he uses a damp cloth wipe on a bright red tomato causing it to shine so brightly it reflected back his reflection "🎶And chase away the bugs🎶" as he flicks away a ladybug from the tomatoes.
Elder Kettle: "🎶I give them water and manure and lots and lots of hugs🎶" he sings as he hugs his veggies "🎶Though you are just babies now🎶" as he lays down on the ground.
Elder Kettle: "🎶Merely bud and twig🎶" he analyzes his veggies which are still growing before slowly getting off the ground.
Elder Kettle: "🎶If I give you all you need....🎶"
Elder Kettle: "🎶You'll grow to be so BIG!!!🎶" he beats out as he stretches his arms out wide causing his back to suddenly crack!
Elder Kettle: "Ow?! My back!!!" He screams as he falls backward.

Elder Kettle: "Oh, my babies!" He wails as he lays in his bed as Cuphead and Mugman stand next to his bed with sympathetic frowns on their faces at their grandfather's plight.
Elder Kettle: "I fed them. I nursed them. I kept them alive without Y/N's help for once." He says as he tosses and turns as he sobs "Without me or Y/n, they're doomed."
Cuphead: "Don't worry, Elder Kettle. We'll take care of your babies, Y/n taught us how to care for them." He promised.
Cuphead: "Here. Let me fluff your pillow." As he reaches over and fluffs his grandfather's pillow who looks suspiciously at his grandsons.
Mugman: "Can I get you some of Y/n's leftover gumbo?" He questions as the boys smile wide at Elder Kettle, who raises an eyebrow at the kids.
Elder Kettle: "You two are being awfully helpful." He squints his eyes at them "You're up to something, I've got my eye on-" he threatens but passes out mid-sentence as he snores loudly as the boys look at each other.
Cuphead: "Out like a light." He says quietly with a hand covering the side of his face "Now let's scrape and catch that picture show." He says as Mugman grins wide.
The boys laugh as they rush out of the house but as they cross the fence Mugman gains a guilty look on his face before grabbing his brother's handle, causing him to stop mid-run and crash onto the floor as Mugman stands in the entrance of the white painted fence.
Cuphead: "Hey?! We gotta make tracks if we're gonna make the five o'clock before Y/n gets home! I even bribed the sunflowers, 10 bucks to keep her occupied!" He said annoyed.
Mugman: "Kettles garden... We promised we'd take care of his babies. Feed them and nurture them." He says as his brother dusts himself off as he gets up from the ground.
Mugman: "Kinda like how Eder Kettle and Y/n took care of us when we were babies..." he says guiltily as he looks down at his shoes not noticing Cupheads expression turns sad as well.

(Flashback)
Years ago, Elder Kettle and Y/n who was 16 years old at the time were walking the dogs, Dutch, Matrix, and Ottis to the dog park on a cold winter's day.
As the duo walked and chatted to each other the dogs' ears suddenly perked up as they heard something in the wind causing the dogs to suddenly stop before bolting into a random direction away from the duo.
As the dogs ran to the noise Elder Kettle and Y/n were seen running after them as the dogs ducked and dipped over obstacles as they dug into an abandoned building.
Elder Kettle and Y/n break into the building yelling out the dog's names as they search for the dogs who suddenly ran from them.
As Y/n called out for Dutch she spotted something that caused her to stop in shock.
Elder Kettle looked towards his granddaughter in confusion before he turned to see what she was looking at and he froze in shock as well.
Two tiny babies, one was a boy who was a little cup in a red onesie with a red striped straw while the other was also a boy but was a mug with a blue striped straw that wore a blue onesie, they sat on the dirty cold broken wood as freezing cold air whips past them as they continue to cry their little lungs out from the cold.
All three dogs that ran from the duo were seen lying close to the babies, Ottis and Dutch cuddling the babies so they could get warmth from the dogs even if it was very little while Matrix was sitting in between behind his brother and the babies.
It worked on the baby in blue who stopped crying and cuddled into Ottis's side with a gummy smile while the baby in red continued to cry his little heart out as he was cuddled by Dutch.
The dogs whimper at the babies' cry, as Matrix stands up and leaned in close to the baby in red face before he begins to lick away the tears that fell from his eyes.
It caused the baby who was once crying to giggle from the ticklish feeling of the dog's tongue before leaning over and hugging the Dutch by their snout who closes his eyes as he leans into the baby's hold.
The sound of footsteps causes the dogs to look over in alarm as they quickly growl at the shadow before stopping when it is revealed to be Y/n and Elder Kettle.
Elder Kettle rubs the closest dog to him, which was Dutch, on the head as Y/n slowly leans down and picks up the babies who babble at the sudden movement.
She wraps the boys in her shawl that hangs around her shoulders as Elder Kettle walks up next to her as he wraps his long scarf around the babies and ruffles the babies' heads who coo at the duo as they gently smile down at the babies.
The dogs jump around Y/n causing her to smile at her dogs as Elder Kettle chuckled at the dog's excitement of the duo accepting the new members of their family as the babies snuggle into the warmth of the clothes in Y/n's hold as she kissed each of the babies foreheads.

Cuphead: "Why'd you have to go and say it like that?" He said annoyed at his brother as he throws himself onto the gate causing Mugman to grab his brother and drag him back causing the gate to close.
It cuts to the boys sitting in front of the veggies with bored expressions on their faces.
Cuphead: "Blurgh. Nothing interesting ever happens around here." He says as he holds his head in his hands as three humanoid figures leaped over the fence and tipped-toed past the boys behind them.
Mugman: *sigh* "You can say that again" he sighs before the boys hear a sudden *CRASH!*
The boys look over their shoulders startled, as they cautiously walk over to the garden shed where the crash came from with shovels in hand they stand in front of the wooden door.
Mugman raises his shovel over his head in preparation for the intruders as Cuphead slowly opens the door, seeing three humanoid-looking veggie men eating the fertilizer.
Cuphead: "HEY!" He yells causing the men to gasp as they whip their heads around to see the two boys at the entrance of the door.
Cuphead: "All right, get outta here!" He yelled as the three men stepped out from the shed as they looked down at the boys.
The tallest of the three men looked at the boys with a sense that he saw them before but that looked weirdly familiar to him.
It also didn't help that they were at her old garden shed on her property.
Cuphead: "Okay, what gives?" He questioned.
???: "We're really sorry, mister. We don't mean to bother youse." Said one of the humanoid Veggie men, his name was Sal, a humanoid potato that was average height with somewhat of a muscular build as he wore a worn-out off-yellow dress shirt.
Over his outfit was a dark brown jacket with a few holes along with matching dark brown pants with worn-out black boots, a beak brown bowler hat was placed on top of his bald head with worn-out gloves.
???: "We's just some, uh, down-on-our-luck vegetables. We came here thinking Chauncey's gal- uh, sorry, old girlfriend was still living here to help us, but it seems like she skipped town." he says as he holds his hat in his hands as Chauncey looks down in sadness at the mention of his old girlfriend.
Sal: "I'm Sal. This is Ollie." He jesters to a shorter veggie man standing next to him, Ollie smiles nervously at the boys.
Ollie was shorter and more chubby than his companions as a humanoid onion, his skin was a pale off-white-yellow with a purple nose, and his short green hair was styled up like a cowlick.
He wore a worn-out dark green sweater with black suspenders and some worn-out black shoes as he also wore torn-up gloves.
Sal: "And that's Chauncey." He says as Chauncey nervously chuckles with a weak smile.
Chauncey was the tallest but also the skinniest of his friends, he had piercing bright yellow eyes, and his skin was a soft orange for a humanoid carrot.
His hair was dark green and was pulled back into a high ponytail that goes just below his elbows, he wore a pair of coke bottle glasses that rested on top of the bridge of his long nose.
The man wore a dark orange turtle neck with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows along with black worn-out pants and black shoes as he stood as he fiddled with his gloveless hands.
Chauncey: "Yeah. We don't get nowhere to call home." He said.
Sal: "We're, uh, orphans. Yeah, that's it. Orphans." He said with his made-up lie.
Ollie: "Wait?! We're orphans?!" He said surprised as Chauncey's face palmed.
Ollie: "That's so sad!" He cried as tears began to form.
Sal: "Hey! Ease up on the waterworks, will you?" He shouted at Ollie as he poked him in the face
Sal: "The last thing we need is you peeling all over the place. Then we'll all start crying!"
Ollie: "I'm sorry, Sal! It's just- You know, it's such a sad story!" He wailed.
Sal: "Don't mind him. He gets, uh, emotional." He said to the cup brothers who looked at the three strange veggie men when they see Chauncey walk up to them.
Chauncey: "I don't mean to bother youse boys, but, has a woman that looks like my old gal, that could have been in the area? She used to live here a yes years ago." He says as he stands next to the boys who quickly look up at him.
Chauncey: "Here's a photo of her. Do youse two recognize her?" He said as he pulled a folded-up photo from his pocket and handed it to Cuphead who unfolds the photo as Mugman looks over his brother's shoulder.
The photos showed Chauncey who was 21 years old when the photo was taken, wearing a dark freshly pressed suit as his long leafy hair was pulled into a high bun.
The photo was taken of him dancing at a party having an arm wrapped around a tall beautiful woman by her waist as he dips her in the black and white photo.
The woman he was dancing with was his old girlfriend who was around the same age as him in the photo wearing a brightly colored flapper dress with a long pearl necklace wrapped around her neck.
A decorative headband is seen placed on her candle head with her short wax-like hair curled framing her face resembling a bob haircut as she smiled brightly at Chauncey.
The boys looked at the photo wide-eyed as Chauncey was oblivious to the boys looking at the photo and then at him before looking back at the photo and then looking at him repeatedly as Chauncey sighs sadly to himself.
Chauncey: "She loved gardening, was so cheerful everyday... she always used to put her hair up every morning when she goes on walks with her dogs.... she was the light of my life... my precious sunshine...m-my l..." he says before his lips quiver and his eyes start to well up in tears.
Chauncey: "...OH!....WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE COME WITH US, BABY?!...... HOW COULD I'VE LET YOU GO?! MY BEAUTIFUL FIREFLY!!!" he wails as he falls to his knees and screams out into the air.
Sal: "Listen, all we're asking for is a little bit of soil to rest our weary roots." He interrupted Chauncey's loud lament of his old girlfriend as he shoved Chauncey to the side "Just for one night. What do you say, eh?"
Cuphead: "We'd love to help, but we gotta keep an eye on Elder Kettles' boring, old vegetable garden." He groans as he points towards the little garden.
Mugman: "Elder Kettle takes his garden very seriously. They're his babies."
Cuphead: "If anything happened to 'em..."
Mugman: "He'd be heartbroken." He says as Sal suddenly gets an idea.
Sal: "Well, heck. No one takes better care of veggies than veggies." He said as he elbows Ollie.
Chauncey: "Yeah. We can help you." He snickers as he rests an elbow on Ollie's head after getting up from the ground.
Mugman: "You could?"
Cuphead: "You would?"
Sal: "Sure. Just let us handle that garden while the two of youse go have a fun night on the town." he says as he leads the bows to the front gate.
Cuphead: "Well, if you insist." He says.
Mugman: "Well gee, thanks." He thanks the men as the Veggies smile big at the boy's retreating figures.
Cuphead: "Swell. This is gonna be a great night." He says joyfully as he hugs his brother by the shoulder as they walk to the picture show.
Sal: "Swell. This is gonna be a great night." He chuckles as he throws his arms around Ollie and Chauncey who smile deviously with Sal.

It cuts to Y/n carrying the sunflowers as she walks down a dirt path in the dark part of the woods.
She soon spotted a few feet away a dark creepy cottage that was one story with a roof covered in grass and thorns with a bricked chimney.
Briar: "We're here! We're here!" She shouted in excitement
Y/n: "Okay, Okay, go on then." She said as Briar and her siblings leaped from their adopted mother's arms as they ran towards the creepy cottage Y/n calmly walked after her kids who ran down the dirt path to the cottage.
Lotus: "Dad! Dad!" He yelled as he and his siblings stopped in front of the cottage door he started to bang on the door excitedly.
Lotus: "Open up it's us!!!" He yelled as the candle woman is seen behind them walking up on the front porch.
The door is suddenly swung open and a tall figure is seen spotted in the doorway.
A tall lean humanoid plant man, his skin was a soft yellow with freckles decorating his face as his expression was glaring down at the trio.
His hair was bright orange petals that combed back into a wild hairstyle.
He wore an off-green dress shirt with a green sleeveless sweater vest tucked into dark brown puffy baggy pants and dark green suspenders with yellow spikes.
The pants were also tucked into black laced boots, dark green garden gloves, and a bright green bow tie resembling leaves the man standing in front of them was Cagney.
Cagney: "MY BABIES!!!" He yelled as he scoops up his three kids into a giant hug as the sunflowers giggle and hug back their father as Y/n smiles at the scene in front of her.
Cagney: "Kids!!! Your siblings came to visit!!!" He yelled over his shoulder as a wave of little flowers in all different colors and types rushed to the door.
Cagney set the triplets down on the ground causing the sunflowers to immediately get tackled by their many siblings.
Y/n: "They were so excited to see you, Cagney." She said as she walked past the dog pile of flower children to Cagney, who blushes slightly at her seeing.
Cagney: "Y/n! My, don't you look pretty." He compliments the candle woman who blushes slightly.
Y/n: "Why Thank you, Cagney, you look quite handsome yourself, don't tell me you freshen up because I was coming along~" She teases as Cagney blushes a bright red as he nervously waved his hands in front of him.
Cagney: "Oh No! Nothing like that. I was just like this when I found out what day it was today..." he said as he leaned on the doorway as one of the roses popped its head up from the dog pile.
Rosie: "That's not true Papa!" She said as a tulip looks over as well.
Tulip: "Yeah you were saying how 'I have to look nice, decent even' when Ms Y/n was bringing our siblings to visit us, you even were cleaning the house up all nice." They said as more of their siblings started to chirp in.
Daisy: "Yeah Dad would do anything for Ms. Y/n if she asked him~" she and her siblings laugh at their father's face which was bright red as Y/n was still blushing.
Aster: "Hey Miss! Do you want to hear what Daddy talks about you? He says that you're very pretty-"
Cagney: "OKAY!!! Hey kids, did you hear that Cup Rodgers is about to start?! *Gasp!* I hope none of you miss it because you were messing with Daddy!" He says interrupting his son Aster, the children gasp at missing their favorite show.
They rush inside into the living room as Cagney looks at Y/n who is now smiling mischievous with a blush.
Y/n: "You find me Very pretty, huh?" She said as she rested a hand on her hip Cagney nervously chuckled with a brighter blush as he adjusted his bowtie.
Cagney: "Kids, ya know?! Love to mess with people, hehe..." he says as Y/n smirks at the blushing man before noticing something happening inside his cottage and looks to the side of him.
Flowers: "Daddy and Miss Y/n kissing in the tree, K-I-S-S-I-'' some of the children chanted, causing their father to whip his head around to see what his kids were doing from inside the house.
Cagney: "HEY?! DON'T MAKE ME HIDE THAT RADIO!!!" He yelled as his kids squeal and leap from the window seal and run back into the living room laughing as they rejoin the rest of their siblings by the radio.
Y/n: "C'mon let's go inside~," she said close to Cagney's ear, causing the man to jump as he looks at the candle woman's swaying figure that walks past him into the house "I brought lunch~," she says as she swings her hips as she walks into the living room, Cagney quickly rushes back inside and closes the door.

(7 hours later....)
Cuphead: "That was dynamite!" He laughs as he and his brother walk back home late at night with leftover popcorn from the picture show.
Mugman: "Especially the explosions." He commented as they heard loud upbeat jazz music playing "Sounds like someone's throwing a heck of a shindig."
Cuphead: "Oh, a party. We should crash it." He says mischievously as Mugman gasps in horror "Mugsy?" He questions before he turns to see where he was looking.
A crowd of humanoid veggies was partying at their house, some were dousing other veggies in Water-Alcohol before dousing themselves.
Some veggies were either fighting each other for the fun of it or simply were pissed at each other, a squash humanoid man was crushing a barrel between his arm and head impressing some humanoid radish women.
Many Veggies chatted with each other as they danced, even a humanoid radish was swinging around on a vine from a great tree that was not there before and is now growing from the property of the house.
???: "WHAT THE?!" A person yelled behind the boys scaring the cup brothers who whip their heads around to see behind them, their older sister Y/n!?
Cuphead: "Y-Y-Y/n?! What are you doing here?!"
Mugman: "I thought you were visiting Cagney?!" He shouted nervously as their Sister looked down at her brothers with a dark stare as she inhaled deeply through her yellow nose.
Y/n: ".....The sunflowers wanted to spend more time with their father.... So I allowed them to spend a few nights this week......" she said calmly.
Cuphead: "So you went home early... hehe..." he chuckled nervously.
Y/n: "Yes... I decided to head home early...because I thought I would come home to a peaceful house..... NOT a party....." She said calmly, causing her brothers to shake in fear.
"Now you both are gonna tell me.... How this happened and maybe.... JUST maybe I will not kick your butts to high heaven ...." she said as she crossed her arms as her brothers looked at each other.
Mugman: "Well... Elder Kettle hurt his back while tending to his babies and was bedridden-"
Cuphead: "And we REALLY wanted to watch a picture show that was happening in the city-"
Mugman: "We were gonna go see it while Elder Kettle was in bed but I-"
Cuphead: "WE!!!!"
Mugman: "....We... got guilty and stayed watching over his garden-"
Cuphead: "But it was really boring!"
Mugman: "Then we heard a crash happening at the shed and went to see and saw three veggie men eating the Acme Grow."
Cuphead: "The names were Sal, Ollie, and uh- what was his name again uhhhh- OH Chauncey!" As he says that Y/n looks over at him with a schooled look on her face.
Mugman: "They were down on their luck and promised to watch over Elder Kettles's vegetable garden for us-"
Cuphead: "While we went to see the picture show, it was really good!!!"
Mugman: "We came back a few hours later thinking we beaten you back home, but we saw this party happening at the house-"
Cuphead: "And that's what happened!" He said as Y/n stared quietly at the boys and started to sweat nervously.
Y/n: "You both do know... I could've taken you both to the picture show, literally the next day after my visit to Cagney right?" She said as her brothers looked at each other, not really thinking of that idea.
Mugman: "We really didn't think of that idea, hehe," he said shamefully as he hung his head.
Y/n: "Ok now listen I'm not mad at you both, I'm not even gonna kick your butts to high heaven..." she said as her brothers smiled wide.
Y/n: "I'm very disappointed in you both," her brothers said as their smiles vanished as they hung their heads in shame Y/n sighed to herself.
Y/n: "I'm just somewhat happy that you both were together and not separated... but that still is not letting you both off the hook." She said as she rubbed her forehead from the headache she is now experiencing.
Cuphead: "Great! Now let's get rid of these party animals!" He said in glee as his siblings raised an eyebrow at Cuphead.

Cuts to the trio arguing with a huge muscular humanoid purple eggplant with his arms crossed in front of the white fenced gate.
Y/n and Mugman are seen arguing with the man while Cuphead has his hands on his hips with a glare on his face.
Y/n: "WELL, Check it again!" She argued as the flame on her wick began to grow in size from her anger.
Mugman: "Y/n and Mugman and Cuphead!" He said pronouncing their names in syllables frustrated.
Eggplant man: "I'm telling you. You ain't on the list." He said gruffly.
Y/n: "BUT WE LIVE HERE?!" She yelled as Cuphead had enough and moved his brother to the side while he tugged his sister's boots to move her to the side as well.
Cuphead: "All right, enough! Hey, tough stuff, don't look now, but your hats on crooked." He pointed up at the man as he finally opened his eyes and started to feel on the top of his head.
Eggplant man: "It is?" He questions as he only felt his short green hair as the sibling quietly slipped past him.
Eggplant man: "Hey, I ain't wearing a hat." He says realizing he was tricked.
Sal: "And I just say, 'What money?'" He joked as he had his arms wrapped around two humanoid tomato ladies as the group he was talking to erupted in laughter.
Cuphead angrily marched up behind Sal and pokes him on the shoulder.p
Cuphead: "Hey, you! This ain't what we agreed to! My sister is gonna-" he says before he is shoved by Sal who turns around to talk to him.
Sal: "Ah, lighten up." He says before he jesters with his arm to the two humanoid tomato ladies who turn around to see who Sal was talking to.
Sal: "Let me introduce you to some friends of mine. The Heirloom sisters." He said as the two ladies looked down at Cuphead.
Cherry: "I'm Cherry," she said in an upbeat voice, she was in her early 20s, her skin was a rich red for a tomato and her eyes were a light shade of green as dark red makeup decorated her eyelids.
She wore dark red lipstick and smiled in a fake smile as she stands next to Sal, scrunching up her button nose as she showcased her pearly white teeth, her dark green hair was a curly fluffy mess that ended just above her shoulders and parted in the middle framing her beautiful chubby face.
Cherry has a cute chubby figure that was outlined in a light green figure-hugging floor-length dress with a bright green bow tied on the front of her the low cut showed off her chest while also wearing green low floor heels, she gestured to herself with a light green gloves on her hands.
Cherry: "And this is Brandywine." she said gesturing to her sister next to her who was also in her early 20s as well, Brandy's skin was a rich magenta-red color as she had somewhat of a chubby figure like her sister.
Her slightly light green hair was straightened and cut into a short bob that was curled at the edges framing her beautiful round face.
Brandy's eyes were a light shade of turquoise and her eyelids were also decorated with dark purple eyeshadow as she coolly smiled with deep purple lipstick framing her lips as a beauty mark was seen underneath her right eye.
She wore a dark green floor-length halter top dress with a bright green underside as she also wore dark green 2-inch heels she had her light green gloved hands on her hips.
Cherry: "We're a couple of hot tomatoes." She said as she smiled sweetly.
Barneywine: "Swell party. We were just about to bust the piñata, wanna help?" She said in a husky voice as she pulled out a wooden bat colored in blue and light blue candy cane stripes as gestured the bat towards Cuphead.
As she said that Sal holds her by the waist causing her to roll her eyes at him annoyed.
Cuphead: "No!" He said immediately before realizing what she said.
The Cuphead: "WAIT! Did you say piñata? I love piñatas!!" he said as he grabbed the bat and dashed off Causing Sal to chuckle to himself.
Sal: "What a nut head, hehe" he chuckled with the sister before they heard a cough behind them as a yellow glove tapped his shoulder causing Sal to roll his eyes as he turned around.
Sal: "Look, Mugman I just told you brother-" he cut off as he met with a person's stomach, he takes a step back as he looked up to see it was a very tall 7'6 candle woman who had her hands on her hips staring down at the potato man.
His old friend, Chauncey's Ex-girlfriend...Y/n.
Y/n: "Hello Sal..." she said calmly as Sal's eyes widened in shock.
Sal: "Y/n?! My, you suddenly got taller than I last remember youse! How have you been these... 2 years... um... 6 years... how long ago was that?" He said surprised as The Heirloom sisters whipped their heads around upon the name Y/n and gasped to themselves when they saw their Y/n.
Y/n: "It was 4 years ago... Sal before I kick everyone's butts here what are you doing here..." she said as Sal raised an eyebrow at his old friend.
Sal: "Ah, same as always, right to the point. Well before I answer your little question, let me ask youse a question first." He says as he points at the taller woman who looks down annoyed at him.
Y/n: "Alright, what's the question?" She said leaning back on her left leg as she crossed her arms.
Sal: "How did you find out about the party? We thought youse skipped town years ago after ya know breaking up with Chauncey." He questions the candle as he gestured to Chauncey who is conducting the band.
She looks over to see Chauncey s who was grinning wide as he conducts before he lets out a little giggle.
The candle woman's eyes soften at seeing her ex-lover before snapping out of it and looking back down at Sal.
Y/n: "Cuss I still live here Mush head and I don't remember mailing any invites for a party at MY house we're Our injured grandfather is trying to sleep." She said calmly as she narrowed her eyes down at him as leaned her torso down to be face to face with Sal as blinked his eyes in shock at the answer.
Y/n: "I want you and everyone here to get off my property and I don't care that we're old friends, get outta here before I blast everybody to high heaven in 30 seconds...don't test me. Cuss you know I will do it." She said as she stared down the potato man.
Sal: "Ah, c'mon Y/n, don't be such a downer, what happened to Noisemaker Y/n???" He said lightheartedly the candle woman as he adjusts his hat that was on top of his head.
Sal: "Youse used to be such a wild party animal causing all sorts of ruckus everywhere, ain't that right ladies!" He said as he looked over at the Heirloom sisters who stare at Y/n, frozen in place as they have a look of shock on their faces.
Sal looks back at his girls with a questioning look when he didn't hear anything from them.
Sal: "Girls? What's with the sudden silence? It's just-"
Brandy: "Sunshine?" She said as she stared at Y/n who looks at her and her sister next to her with an equally shocked look as well.
Sal: "Yeah Sunshine...Wait what?!" He said as he look at Brandy in shock.
Brandy cautiously walks up to the candle woman before giving the woman a shaking smile that doesn't reflect the fake smile in her eyes as Cherry walks behind her sister with a small regretful frown.
Y/n: "Brandy... Cherry. I-I... you both look good." She said.
Cherry: "Yeah.... are you eating well? I hope you didn't get sick like.... like last time." She said as she look worriedly at Y/n Brandy looks over at the candle woman, checking her arms.
Y/n: "Oh! No no, I'm doing okay, haven't gotten sick yet. But thank you for um... worried about my health."
Brandy: "How can we not? You always worry about everyone else's well-being but never yourself." She said causing her sister to let out a little giggle and causing Y/n to smile at them fondly.
Cherry: "Oh, I remember years ago when Chauncey got real sick you let him stay at your house and took such good care of him. Even when he said you would also get sick you didn't care. And then had to repay the favor when you suddenly got sick." She says as she looks on fondly at the memory she reaches a hand out to caress Y/N's shoulder.
Brandy: "And Chauncey was panicking so bad he didn't know what to do that we had to help take care of you." She said with a sad smile as she reaches out and gently takes the candle woman's hand into hers.
Y/n: "Girls... I... that love was years ago... you two left me with a broken heart." She said as the sisters looked at each other before looking up at Y/n.
Cherry: "I- We... we regret leaving you all those years ago... and we want to make it right."
Brandy: "We want to start over with you a fresh start... a second chance if you allow us to."
Cherry: "A second chance for all of us... that includes Chauncey if you're willing to."
Y/n: "You three always had a place in my heart... and always have been for all these years but... I'm kinda seeing two people... and I don't want to choose any of you over the other..." she said as the sisters had a silent conversation in their eyes before Cherry speaks.
Cherry: "We'll that's okay... we used to share you with Chauncey... we can share you with two others if that'll make you happy."
Sal looks at this conversation happening in front of him with a questioning look before walking toward the three women.
Sal: "Alright what's going on here?!" He said as he steps in between the heirloom sisters and Y/n.
He looks over toward his girlfriends who were giving Y/n a flirtatious wave with their hands before Brandy noticed Sal looking their way and slaps Cherry's hand to stop wavering at the candle woman.
Y/n: "Noting is going on Sal. Look the girls and I used to date okay?" She said as she looked down at Sal annoyed.
Sal: "Used to date?! Well, what happened to Chauncey?! We're you two-timing him with my ex-broads?!" He yells at her as she scoffed to herself at the acquisition.
Y/n: "I wasn't doing any two-timing on anyone, you bugger! He knew, especially since he and I were dating the girls. Why did you think he was so close to the three of us?" She said as she crossed her arms across her chest causing Sal to stutter to himself in shock as she began to walk past him.
Y/n: "And Brandy and Cherry aren't 'YOUR broads'! They're not your damm property Sal!" She said over her shoulder as Sal snapped himself back into reality, he turns around and grabs her by the back of her light brown dress shirt to stop her in her tracks.
Sal: "Oi! Where did you think you're going we have some business to settle here!" He yells as she turns around to look down at him with a furious look on her face.
Y/n: "Oh really?" She said lowly as she pushes her wax hair away from her face.
Sal: "Yeah." He said slowly as he rolls up his sleeves as he and Y/n stare each other down in a heated glare.
The Heirloom sisters look on scared as the duo stared each other down.
Y/n: "Oh, look Acme soil!" She said suddenly as she point behind the potato man causing him to look over his shoulder to where she was pointing to.
Sal: "Where?" He asks before he's punched in the face causing him to sail into the air and crashes into a nearby table.

It cuts to Cuphead who is still running in glee with the bat in hand, trying to find the piñata before he gets yanked back by his brother as Salin the background is still stuttering to himself in disbelief at what just happened.
Mugman: "Cuphead! We're not supposed to be enjoying this. We're upset, remember?" He reminds his brother as he walks past Cuphead.
Cuphead: "Oh, right. Hey, we're Y/n?" He comments as his brother ignores his question as he walks up to the makeshift wooden stage where a band is seen playing upbeat Jazz Chauncey conducts the band as he grins wide as his eyes change into a hypnotic pattern of orange and yellow stripes.
Mugman: "Uh, excuse me."
The band continues to play.
Mugman: "Quiet!"
The band continues to play.
Migman: "EVERYBODY, LISTEN UP!!!" He shouts, causing Chauncey to stop the band and lean his head back because of the sudden noise as the crowd near the stage looks at Mugman, who freezes and whimpers from the sudden stares.
Cuphead: "Yeah, you heard my brother! Beat it!" He said as he walked on stage in front of his brother who froze from stage fright as the crowd looked at the boys in silence as crickets chirped.
Chauncey raised an eyebrow at the boys before he felt a tiny rock hit him in the head from the right side of him.
Chauncey: "Ow?! What the?" He mutters as he turns to his right to see, a chubby figure waving at him with a big smile on her face was his lovely Cherry, who jumps up and down from the back of the crowd trying to get his attention.
Cherry, once she sees she got his attention, signs to him 'Get off stage Carrot Cake, I need to show you something with a big smile.
Chauncey wordlessly throws his hands at the band he is conducting as he signs to her 'Sal gave me this job to do, I can't leave it now!'
Before he tilts his head at her as he signs again 'What's got you all excited for? Also Carrot Cake? I thought you stopped using it after... we broke up with Y/n and y'all started dating Sal?' He saw with a curious look on his face.
Cherry rolled her eyes with a small grin as she signed back 'I and Brandy broke up with Sal a few minutes ago Carrot Cake because Y/ns is back! She's at the party!!!'
She smiled big before signing again 'Now hurry up and get over here so we can go see her again, Brandys with her at the bar!!!' She signed in excitement as Chauncey's eyes went wide before he quickly turned towards the band.
Chauncey: "HIT IT!!!" He shouted hurriedly as he struck up the band to play as they used their instruments to blast the Cup brothers a few feet away from the stage, Chauncey quickly hypnotized the band so they played without his help and quickly jumped off the makeshift stage.
He runs through the crowd towards Cherry who eagerly opens her arms as he rushes towards her and sweeps her up in a hug. He twirls her around before giving her a big kiss to which Cherry responds by cradling the side of his face as he holds her, unafraid to kiss each other now that she and her sister were no longer tied to Sal.
Chauncey: "Been waiting to do that for 4 years~?" he says as Cherry hums in agreement as she leans into his hold "Now where did you say they were at Honey?" He questions as Cherry gets out of his hold and grabs his hand into hers before she drags him towards the direction the other two were in she giggled happily while Chauncey chuckles joyfully.
The cup brothers landed next to their grandfather's garden, they both groaned annoyed as they slowly lifted their heads from the dirt as Cherry and Chauncey just ran past them when they heard two voices.
Carrot Guy 1: "Hey, I'm parched. Wanna get a drink?" He asks his friend.
Carrot guy 2: "Heck yeah!" He said as he and his friend reached a hand into the ground and sucked the water out of Elder Kettles's garden that quickly wilts causing the cup brothers to gasp.
Mugman: "They're killing Elder Kettles's babies and taking Y/n!!!" He said terrified.
Cuphead: "We gotta bust this party up now!" He stated as both nodded at each other in determination.

Cherry and Chauncey are seen walking up to the makeshift bar where sitting at one of the bar stools is Y/n and Brandy each has a glass in their hands of Alochol-Water as they talked with the tomato woman having a hand over the candles hand before Brandy noticed the duo and nudged the candle woman next to her.
Brandy: "Y/n, look!" She said as she pointed over towards the duo who are walking up to them.
Y/n turns around to see them and sees Chauncey and Cherry with the humanoid carrot man looking over at her nervously as they approach.
Chauncey: "Hey... Y/n. You look good?" He said as he chuckled nervously as he looked up at the tall candle woman.
Y/n: "Oh thank you... you look good as well. How's it been working under Sal?" She asked Chauncey as he sat on the other side of Y/n as Cherry sat next to her sister.
Chauncey: "Oh. It's um been okay, hate it when he talks down to us like he's higher than everyone because he's 'smarter' than all of us. But from what Cherry has told me what you've done to Sal..." He said as he gestured to Cherry who stole her sister's drink to have for herself.
Chauncey: "He had it coming for a while." He said with a light-hearted chuckle as a drink of alcohol-flavored water is placed in front of him, causing the man to take a swing of the drink as Y/n smiles bashfully.
Y/n: "Aww stop it~ You're just saying that." She said as she looks away from Chauncey.
Chauncey: "No! A sucker like him absolutely deserves it. If you weren't gonna punch him in his fluffing face I would have done it myself." He stated as he gave a pointed finger at Y/n before he softly smiles at her as he pushes a strand of wax hair away from her face "You know... long hair suits you nicely~" he says causing the candle woman to blush a bright red.
Cherry: "Yeah! And probably before this party ends me and Brandy will have to pack our stuff and head out into the city here with Chauncey since Sal found out." She butted in as she gave a light-hearted shrug before she looked over at the candle woman.
Brandy: "So Y/n... since we're planning to move in together why don't you join us? I know you're kinda seeing two people but they could possibly join us?" She asked as the trio looks over at the candle pauses mid-sip and begins to think.
Y/n: "I... well, I don't know. I'm not ready to move in yet and y'all haven't met Hilda or Chips..." she said out loud as she began to think Chauncey look around before gaining a sudden idea causing the veggie man to let out a sly grin.
Chauncey: "Well... since you'll have time to think about it. The night is still young~," he says before he slams his drink down and picks up Y/n who looks startled as she lifted up into his hold.
Chauncey: "And I know the perfect way to spend it~," he says with a teasing wink causing her to blush slightly as the Heirloom sisters look over at her with a teasing grin as well.

The veggie people laugh as they chatted to each other excitedly, enjoying the night when the cup brothers jumped into the middle of the crowd dressed up as scarecrows as they attempted to scare off the Veggies as they tried to make spooky noises before they are pecked at by crows.
The Cup Brothers: "Ow! Ouch!" They cried before running off screaming as they were chased by the crows, the crowd looks at each other briefly before re-continuing their conversations as the music struck back up.
Brandywine: "Chauncey give her back!" She shouted playfully as she and her sister chased after their boyfriend, Chauncey who carried Y/n in his arms, bridal style, close to his chest as he ran with a teasing smile as Y/n giggled with a hand over her mouth from his hold.
Chauncey: "No way! You had more time with her than any of us, so it is my turn now!!" He shouted over his shoulder causing the sisters to cackle to themselves as they playfully chased around the party.

It cuts to the boys at the front of the house with Mugman standing with his hands on his hips with an annoyed expression on his face as his brother Cuphead reaches around from one of the front windows before pulling out from the house phone.
Cuphead: "Operator, get me the police!" He called and in recited timing, as a police car sped down the street with the siren wailing as they dropped in front of the eggplant veggie man, the bee policemen poked their heads out from their cars as they looked at the bouncer.
Eggplant man: "You ain't on the list," he said.
Bee Policeman: "Sorry, boys. We gave it a shot." He said as he and his partner shrugged before leaving as the brothers' once hopeful expressions turned into disbelief.
Sal: "Nice try, losers. This party ain't over till the sun comes up." He said amused before he glared at Y/n who was dancing joyfully with The Heirloom sisters and Chauncey at the party "Stupid Candle, better than Me?! I'll show her that no good harlot I'll kibosh her before the light even comes up" he mutters near the boys as he walks off.
The boys sigh in disappointment before Cuphead suddenly gets an idea and gasps.

Cut to the boys who were on top of the roof, Mugman stands wearing a chicken costume as he raises an eyebrow at his brother who pulls up a long piece of rope with them.
Cuphead: "Till the sun comes up, eh?" He quotes Sal as he lassoed the moon and begins to tug the moon down with all his might but to his dismay, he's thrown back by the force of the moon causing him to hang in the middle of the air while holding onto the rope.
Mugman: "I'll call Cagney..." he sighed as he jumped down from the roof and dialed Cagney's number it rang a couple of times.
Phone operator: "I'm sorry it seems like the person you're trying to call didn't pick up, would you like to leave a message?" They questioned.

It cuts to plant children laughing as they run around the living room chasing each other with toys in hand, some of the kids were seen sitting on the couch listening to the radio that now reads a children's story as Cagney was seen wearing an oversized green sweater with loose dark green pants and green slippers with an apron tied over his clothes with his hair pushed back with a bandana as he irons the children's clothes.
He hums to himself before the house phone suddenly begins to ring startling all of the children.
Poppy: "I'll get it!" She says as she grabs the phone off the wall, she listens to the other person on the line before looking back at her father and walking over towards him "It's for you!" She says as she hands the phone to her father who turns off the iron as he listens into the phone as Poppy leaps up to sit on the ironing board.
Phone operator: "You have one voicemail." It says before he heard a beep and the message begins to play.
Mugman: "Um yes, Hey Cagney it's me Mugman, Y/n's little brother, so um listen there are some people here who threw a party without us knowing at the house and they won't leave when we asked them to, we tried everything. Can you come over and help deal with these people, I think one of them, his name Sal by the way, threatened about making sure our sister never sees the light of day again soo... please get here quick!" He said before he hung up.
Cagney freezes as he hears this before he calmly hands the phone back to Poppy "Sweetie, I'll be out for a bit, your mother needs some help with some rodents, you're in charge okay?" He says as he leans down to Poppy's height.
Poppy: "Okay Daddy!" She says with a bright smile as Cagney ruffles her head before he rushes to his room to change into his normal outfit before he runs out of the house.
Cagney: "Don't worry boys!!! I'm on my way!!!" He shouted in delectation as he ran leaving a huge dust trail behind him.

Ollie is seen at the makeshift wooden bar humming in delight as he drinks a water-alcohol drink in one go as the cup brothers are seen a few feet away locking disheartened as Y/n is also seen sitting a few feet away from her brothers sitting at a table with Chauncey and the Heirloom sisters having a lovely conversation.
Cuphead: "Well, I guess that's it." He said with his head in his hands.
Mugman: "Kettles garden is as good as dead."
Cuphead: "And so are we." he commented.
Ollie: "Dead?" He said confused as he hiccuped causing the boys to look over at Ollie who is currently drunk "Gee, that sure is sad." He commented looking sad as Cuphead looked over as a sudden idea dings in his head.
Cuphead: "Yep, this garden is all our poor Elder Kettle has left." He said in a saddened voice as he nudged his brother who was also gaining a look of mischief as they looked over at Ollie.
Cuphewd: "Almost makes you wanna cry." He said as the boys got up from their seats.
Ollie: "That's just terrible! Poor Elder Kettle." He hiccuped as he sadly looked down at his drink as the boys surrounded the onion man.
Mugman: "Without his garden, he has nothing to live for." He said.
Cuphead: "Not that he has much time left." He said as he looked down sadly causing Ollie to whimper.
Cuphead: "You know, with him being so elderly and all." He added as tears welled up in Ollie's eyes as Mugman leaned up to Ollie's ear.
Mugman: "And did we mention that he's an orphan?" He grinned.
Ollie: "AN ORPHAN?!" He screamed before he cried rivers of tears, as he wailed, his onion skin began peeling away making the stench of onion drift into the air as the boys smiled that their plan worked.
Carrot guy 1: "Ha! This guy. I love this guy." He said drunkenly as he side-hugged his friend before they both smelled the stench of onion.
Carrot Guy 2: "Ugh! But I don't love this." He said as his eyes welled up in tears as he sobs.
Carrot Guy 1: "Let's get out here!" He cried as his eyes also welled up with tears.
The whole party was crying from the stench of the onion, as the band played melancholic music with tears also in their eyes.
With the whole party crying a giant river of tears within the confines of the gate let's put a creak as the veggies cried before the gate bursts open from the amount of pressure, washing away all the veggie people except for Chauncey, Cherry, Brandywine, Sal, and Ollie.
The ground slurps up the water as Elder Kettles's little garden springs back to life along with numerous vegetables and plants as well as the group of six is seen crying, with the cup brothers hugging each other as they cried, while Y/n was hugged by the Heirloom sisters on each side of her while Chauncey was hugging all three of them as they all cried.
Cuphead: "Their tears watered Elder Kettles babies!" He cried.
Mugman: "The day is saved!" He cried as well.
Chauncey: "Hurray!" He said through his tears as in the background Sal Angelou walks up to Ollie who leans against the makeshift wooden bar.
Sal: "You just had to start blubbering, didn't youse?" He said angrily as he hit Ollie's head causing him to crash and break the wooden bar as he landed on his face.
Y/n: "All right, Party's over Sal." She said as she and the group walked up to Sal and Ollie.
Mugman: "Yeah! Get out of here, you, uh..." He said next to his sister as he pondered the word he wanted to use.
Cuphead: "Ya Freeloaders!" He finished his brother's sentence as he crossed his arms next to his sister.
Sal: "Chauncey! Ya gonna let these bums talk to your best friends like this?!" He said as he looked at Chauncey, who looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
Chauncey: "After what you said about my gals a few hours ago, yeah, I ain't gonna do nothing, in fact, I'm cut off from you anyway, remember?" He reminded Sal who glares at him.
Sal: "I was joking, now get over here and I'll maybe forget that you went behind my back with these dumb broads." He said as he narrowed his eyes at the three women, Cherry, Brandywine, and Y/n who glared back at him.
Cherry: "Hold on a second there Buster-" she goes to retort to his horrible comment.
???: "Who are you calling a dumb broad, Sal?!" Shouted a voice behind Sal, causing everyone to turn to see a tall plant man, with wild orange hair, and a large threatening smile that showed off his sharp teeth as he towered over Sal and Ollie causing the cup siblings to smile wide while the veggie gained a scared look on their faces.
Sal: "C-C-Cagney?! What a surprise to see youse, uh, how's the?" He stammered as Cagney narrowed his eyes at Sal.
Cagney: "I got a little call from a blue birdy, that you were threatening to make sure Y/n would never see the light of day again?" He interrupted Sal who started to sweat.
Sal: "Oh, oh, that, that's was a joke, I was just kidding, hehe" he nervously chuckles as Cagney stares him down "Is she someone of importance to youse?" He questions nervously.
Cagney: "She's the mother of my children..." he said slowly, causing Chauncey, Cherry, and Brandywine to look at Y/n shocked as the candle woman rolled her eyes.
Y/n: "Figuratively, I'm some of the kids Cagney has, their adopted mother, I'm not their birth mother." she said as the three humanoid veggies sigh in relief.
Cagney: "I'm gonna give you 30 seconds to get off this property, 1..." he counted as Sal and Ollie looked at each other.
Sal: "Y-youse can't be serious Cagney, hehe, buddy,....old pal?" He said.
Cagney: "...5...6...7..." he counted as Sal and Ollie quickly ran past him and towards the gate "...28, 29,30!" He quickly said as he chased after the two men who scream when they saw Cagney chasing them with bloodlust the duo ran for the hills as the group watches them run with amused looks on their faces.
