The chopper landed on the roof of the Wakanda building, when the wings stopped the doors opened, one by one everyone got out. Clint led Wanda to the doors, Steve reached for her and held her gently as she stepped down onto the ground, when he let go Clint was by her side, an arm around her shoulders as she leaned into him.

T’challa led them to the kitchen where there was food cooked on the huge table, the food was all junk food and the drinks were water, the boys never looked so happy as they did right now.

“I sent a message to my people to make some meals for you, as I suspect you didn’t get much food and drink in the Raft” They boys and Wanda sat at the table as fast as cheetahs and started to eat.

“Thank you so much Your Highness” Scott said with a huge smile “This food is so much better than prison food”

“We hardly got prison food” Sam reminded him, and Scott nodded at him and took a bite out of a cheese pizza. Clint handed Wanda some cheese pizza which she ate slowly, she mostly drank water. Clint had already eaten 2 slices of pizza and wasn’t stopping.

“Yo if you keep eating there’ll be no food leave” Scott joked, making Sam chuckle, Clint just flipped him off and Scott gave a fake gasp, making Sam laugh and Wanda smile.

As they ate Steve and Bucky were standing with T’challa and Natasha near the sofa’s.

“Guys, I…” Steve stuttered “I can’t thank you enough, what you’ve done...just, thank you” Natasha and the others smiled at him.

“Steve it’s ok, like I said before we wanted to help”

“Miss Romanoff is correct” T’challa agreed “I am more then thankful to help your friends”

“Same” Bucky agreed “I’m glad that we got them out now instead of later” the others agreed, they turned back to the group at the table who surprisingly had eaten half of the food. The boys were joking around and flipping each other off while Wanda watched them, a small smile on her face.

Natasha rolled her eyes at them “Boys” and smiled along with the others.

“I have prepared rooms for your friends” T’challa to;d them “If they need anything, please let me know”

Steve nodded at the king “I will, thank you”

“My pleasure Captain Rogers” the king bowed and went to the elevator and left the team. Natasha and Steve looked back at the team on the table, where things have calmed down a little.

“If you guys keep eating they’ll be none for us” Natasha joked as she, Bucky and Steve sat on the table, she got weird looks from the boys.

“Excuse me but were you in prison” Sam joked, Natasha smirked and picked up a slice of cheese pizza and took a bite. Steve looked at Wanda who had so far eaten half of her pizza and drank two cups of water.

“You ok?” he asked her softly, she looked at him and nodded.

“I am now” Steve smiled at her and held her hand, she squeezed it back and took another bite of her pizza. Steve and Bucky managed to get the last two slices of pizza and enjoyed the taste.

“Why the fuck is salad here? I don’t need that after being in prison” Scott said as he moved the salad to the far end of the table.

“Language” Steve scolded Scott, he immediately regretted those words when everyone of the table (except Scott) wore smirks.

“Yeah Scott, language, we don’t want to upset stark spangles of freedom over there” Sam joked, getting a laugh from Clint and Scott and a smirk from Wanda, Natasha and Bucky.

Steve groaned “You guys aren’t going to let that go are you”

A chorus of “No” made him smile, finally, he was back with his team.

After the food everyone was stuffed, they moved to the sofa’s and relaxed on the comfort which they haven’t had in awhile and watched TV, they avoided the news channels and went onto the kids channels and decided to watch Sponge Bob (everyone loves Sponge Bob ok). They sat like that for hours, a few jokes thrown in there and attempts to get Wanda to smile (some succeeded) that they didn’t realize how late it had gotten (midnight).

They turned off the TV and tidied up the table, Steve and Bucky lead them to the floor with the bedrooms on. Natasha had the room next to Bucky and it went down to Wanda, Clint, Sam and Scott, Clint decided to stay in Wanda’s room to help her feel safe and secure. They all got changed into the fresh clothes T’challa had for them and went to sleep, all except for Steve.

Steve didn't sleep right away that night, he was happy that his team was here safe and sound, but we was worried about Tony and the others. He knows he should contact them but he’s afraid, afraid of what they will say. Will they understand him and forgive him? Or will they scream and shout at him? To be honest Steve is excepting the second option.

Steve is ready, ready to accept what he did wrong, ready to let them shout at him. He sits at his desk, with lined paper and a pen, he sit’s there unsure of what to write. Minute’s later pen is on paper, he writes about how happy he is that Tony is at the compound, as he doesn’t want Tony by himself. He writes about his team, and that he couldn’t leave them alone in the Raft after they have done so much for him.

He writes that he know he has hurt Tony about not telling him about his parents, it was difficult to wrote as guilt had taken over. He writes about he thought keeping it away from was saving Tony, but he was wrong.

And the accords, he writes of how they wished they both agrees on them, and what stark was doing was him believing that he was doing the right thing which Steve knows that’s a good thing, and he wouldn't take it away from him.

Finally he writes about them, his hands began to shake at this point but he eventually writes, on how if Tony ever needs him, Steve will be there.

After writing the letter he drops the pen on the table and looks over it, the only thing he needs now is a way to contact Tony, a way that Ross won't be able to see.

And that’s when it hit’s him, a burner phone, Steve then groans of not having on. He won’t ask the others because they deserve a good night's sleep, maybe the staff around here know? He doesn't want to bother them, but to get into contact with Tony he has to.

He slowly opens his door and shuts it behind him quietly, he walks to the elevator and goes down two floors. When the doors open he walks around quietly around, when walking through the hallway he hears a voice.

“Captain?” he jumps and looked behind him to see a female staff, she wears a black pencil dress to her knees and black heels, how could he not hear when she’s wearing heels?

The female notices his jump “I’m sorry that I have startles you Captain”

“No no, it’s ok” he smiled kindly at her “Erm…” he rubs the back of his neck “Would you know anywhere that hads burner phones” the female raises an eyebrow at him “It’s to send to Stark, I know we’re not on the same page at the moment right now but...nothing’s going to be fixed if we don’t talk, and I need a burner phone so that Ross can’t track us”

The female looked at him for a few minutes before speaking “You are an honourable man Captain, saving your comrades from a prison and wanting to talk to the man who is your enemy and wanting to fix things”

“He’s not an enemy” he tells her “He’s a friend”

The woman smiled at him “Mr Stark should be happy to have a friend like you, we actually have a set of burner phones with our other weapons” she told him “Please follow me” Steve thanked her and followed her into the elevator onto the bottom floor, when the doors opened they stepped into the weapon room where Steve was in shock.

The room had weapons on the walls, some on tables and some leaning in boxes. The women knelt down to a box on the floor and grabbed a burner phone, standing up she walked back to Steve and handed him the burner phone “Here you go Captain”

“Thank you ma’am” they went back into the elevator and the women looked at Steve.

“Where else would you like to go Captain?”

“Just my room please, I wrote a letter to go with this” she smiled and pressed the button, on their way up Steve added his number into the phone, and added the phones number into his. Soon they were on the bedroom.

“If you do not mine Captain…” Steve looked back at the woman in the elevator “I could send the letter and phone to Stark in a package, after today you need sleep just as much as everyone else”

Steve smiled at the women “Thank you ma’am, I would appreciate that” Steve quickly went into his room and grabbed the letter, he gave it and the burner phone to the woman “Thank you, again”

The woman smiled “It’s my pleasure Captain” she pressed a button and soon the elevator's doors closed. Steve went back to his room and changed into his pajamas, and put the clothes we wore back on the hanger, he notice that his and Bucky’s dirty clothes from yesterday had been washed and are in the closet.

Steve unhooked his uniform and held it in his hands, his blue, white and red suit with a star on his chest. Captain America was suppose to be a hero, one for freedom and choice. One for peace and safety. He was given the title, hoping to live up to the symbolism it has, he tried, he tried as hard as he could but in the end, he didn’t live up to the name.

He wasn’t worthy of wearing the suit, he wasn't worthy of wielding the shield.

He wasn’t worthy of being Captain America.
He dropped on his bed, fists clenching the suit tears slowing falling down his cheeks.

“I’m sorry Peggy, I’m so sorry” An image of Peggy smiling flashed in his mind, making the tears fall faster.

“I couldn't live up to the name, I failed you, I’m so sorry”

That night Steve Rogers cried himself to sleep and decided that from now and on wards, he will not be Captain America.
