*Talk to me Bob, In the Air and on the Deck Edition

Its now day 2 of vacation but Bob Wakes up early at 5 to workout in the basement at Bob and Cheryl’s but Phoenix Joins him for Yoga 10 minutes into his session.

Bob: Good morning love, did you snooze the alarm?

Phoenix: Do you know how much it sucks not sleeping with you when we are here?
You're not there to help me wake up and while Calvin is the better snuggler, he encourages me to stay in bed.

Bob Smiles at her.

Bob: He sure adores you for some reason.

Phoenix: I have all the Floyd Men wrapped around my finger but you’re the only whole who gets the total package.

Bob chuckles.
Bob: You’re right! Even my dad loves you and is very gentle… Only you and Carrie ever had that courtesy.

Phoenix: And your brother is totally jelly.

Bob: Would you like to jump in? I can share the mat with you.

Phoenix: Move over nerdo.

The two make it through the workout but a flirt turns into a challenge and before long,
They are grappling each other in the basement while trying to be quite.
Bob cant even hold on to Nix because hes giggling so hard while Nix Slams him to the gound but his leg knocks over some card board boxes on his way down but as he tries to recover, Nix gets him in a an armbar hold and start talking trash.

Phoenix: How’s my ass taste? Bitch! (Yes, this is an Easter Egg to Monica Barbaro’s character in FUBAR)

Bob painfully responds.

Bob: I yield, I don’t want pink eye.

Phoenix lets him go while the both laugh at each other while trying to keep it down But she sees the mess they made with the box they spilled.

Phoenix: Bob, is that your wedding stuff?

Bob is frozen stiff with a thousand yard stare.

Phoenix: Hey babe, it’s OK. Lets get this picked up.

Bob takes off his glasses to rub his eyes full of tears.
Phoenix: Talk to me Bob, what are you feeling?

Bob puts his glasses back on and loks at Nix softly.

Bob: I am feeling like Lighting has struck me twice.
First it was her, and now its you.
I am unexplainably happy with you by my side but now that I see some mementos and photos I forgot about all just scattered on the floor, I miss her Nat. I am so sorry but I have to be honest.
He looks down

Phoenix Hugs him tightly but she understands his huge heart by now and isn’t hurt.

Phoenix: Don’t be sorry. Be thankful. She was your wife and a damn good one at that judging by these photos and what little you have told me about her
Wes and Cheryl told me about you guys and how you constantly killed each other wit kindness and acts of service.
You would both apologize to each other nonstop if you had a disagreement but then you would literally kiss and make up which usually led to other things.

Bob lets outa nervous laugh.

Bob: its like they really knew us.

Phoenix: I hope they should, you all are and were family.
But Bob?

Bob: Yes?

Phoenix: I need to meet her. Is she buried nearby or did you scatter her ashes?

Bob: She rests about 20 minutes from here.
I haven't visited her in over a year and maybe its time.

Phoenix: It is.
She will always be a part of your life. I will always be OK with that. She may be gone but she lives on in your huge heart and those wonderful kids of yours.
But I need you to tell her about us.
I think it will help you balance things out.
Bob is quiet while he holds Nix gently but kisses her forehead.

Bob: I think youre right. Maybe we go now?

Phoenix: how about after you narrate this video.

Bob: Can do.

Phoenix and Bob get to the cemetery and are 20 feet from Carries headstone but He stops.
Bob: May I have a minute alone with her?
Phoenix: Take all the time you need.

Bob walks up and kneels while placing flowers on the grave.

Bob: Good Morning my love.
I miss you soo much and the way we read our Bibles together and danced the night away after the kids were in bed.
But I am doing very well.
Cal and Shell are both at the top of their class in school again this year and staying active with dance and other adventures.

I am not flying anymore and took a job on the ground that is much safer and I do love it.
But before that, I got a new pilot who became a close friend and much more as time went on.
She is a Woman of the highest character much like you were yet different in so many ways at the same time.
I fell in love again.
I tried not to even if I had your blessing to move on but I want you to know I will never forget you or what you were and are to me.
You will always be my short and sweet sexy petite.
You will always be the one who saved my life and brought be back to God.

I will always love you Carrie. Always.

Bob is choked up and wiping his eyes but Nix sees this and wants to hold him but she stays in place.

Bob: Carrie, I brought her with me today because she wanted to visit you as well.
I promise that her heart has room for our children and her and Cal have a special way with each other.
She respects what we had together and I know you two would have been friends.
I am going to ask for her hand someday but that doesn’t mean I will forget you.

Bob Looks over to Nix with a nod and she gracefully makes her way to them while putting a hand on his shoulder.

Bob takes her hand softly and squeezes.

Natasha Trace, Meet Carrie Floyd.

And Carrie, Meet Natasha.

Phoenix takes a knee and gently touches Carrie’s headstone.
Phoenix: Carrie, I…. Ummm… I don’t know what to say here but I promise you I know what your man is worth and if you were still here, I would never try to take him from you.
Bob tells me about how you both saved each other and the true love you shared.
I love your love story and I think the world of who you were.
But I want you to know that I think the world of him and promise to always respect your legacy together along with having his back.
We both have each others back and while that might have started with us as coworkers,

We have become deeply in love with each other in the air and on the ground.
Your children are so wonderful, and I love them to the moon as well.
I promise to love on them always as if they were my own.
We both know this man’s heart and how much he can love somebody.
I promise to never take him for granted.
I hope to meet you someday… And if I do, I hope we can be friends and I promise to share him with you because you had his heart first.
Bob: Marriage doesn’t exist in heaven dear.
Phoenix: Well good because that would be awkward.
They chuckled softly.
Bob: See Carrie, she truly is a wonderful Woman.
Phoenix: And I know you were as well.

They help each other up and get ready to leave.

Bob: It was so nice to be with you again my love and thank you for everything.
I will see you on the other side when I get there.

Phoenix and Bob walk out slowly while holding hands but not saying much until they get in the car with Nix behind the wheel.
Bob gets strapped in but his face if full of tears as he sighs and tries to calm himself.

Phoenix: Are you OK? Talk to me Bob.
She puts a hand on his shoulder.
Bob: Yes, that was just heavy but thank you for being with me today.
Phoenix: And thank you for letting me get to meet her. I am here if you need to talk.
I know that heart of yours by now and I know that you love her.
But I also know that you love me and I do as well.

Bob: With all I have. Now should we pickup breakfast for every one since we are already up?

Phoenix: great idea! Then you can get started with your Daddy/Daughter Date for dance and the arcade while I take Cal to Norfolk so he can get up close tour of the new F-35.

Bob: that’s right, your old boss Lego is flying one out here now Right? Tel l Her I said hello.
Phoenix: You got it but lets hit up that WaffleHouse.
