Delicate, that's how Ellie was in private. When she and Dina were alone in a room, sharing a place and be themselves without trying to hide their attraction with all the temptation that loving each other implied. Gentle was Ellie's touch as she tenderly caressed Dina's face, unlike the usual brute force she used during her sporting activities, her training sessions, and even her soccer practices where she had hurt the opposing team's players the most. Peaceful was the way Ellie spoke softly to Dina when she was feeling down and comforted her between whispers of sweet words. Everything about Ellie was reassuring with great care allowing herself to be fragile.

At the beginning of everything, Dina was afraid of falling madly in love with Ellie, she had tried to hide it for a while. The last thing she wanted was to make her closest friend feel uncomfortable, but how could Dina hide all the longing she felt for Ellie? It was almost impossible, even at that moment when Dina couldn't stop devoutly analyzing Ellie's face, studying her features, admiring her freckles scattered everywhere lighting up her beautiful green eyes that reminded Dina very much of jade, a semi-precious mineral that she consciously used in her jewelry as a way of paying homage to her beloved, with this in mind, Dina was quick to let Ellie know how much she was mesmerized by her.

Dina couldn't help but adore the little details about Ellie, from her sloppy way of dressing in plaid shirts with her faded jeans, her intelligence attributed to her knowledge in areas Dina had no clue about like dinosaurs or astronomy, the sound of her outrageous laugh (which can surely be heard from the other side of the world) and the fact that her hands are always cold even in summer.

Apparently, in the end, Dina's fear came true, she had fallen head over heels for Ellie.

But seriously, Dina loved everything that included that girl, even the most annoying and horrible flaws that Ellie had, Dina had learned to love those little things, maybe that's what love is all about or maybe she's just a sixteen year old girl and that's why she feels love so intensely.

Even so, Ellie managed to steal sweet sighs from Dina, who let her heart melt completely from that first date they both had, which was quite simple, consisted of them walking through the streets of the city while listening to music with headphones that they shared. It was an inelegant date, however for Dina it was one of the best days of her life because she had been able to talk about her favorite things that no one wanted to hear but with Ellie it was different, she really seemed impressed and was begging Dina to tell her more about makeup, mathematics and even spirituality.

Dina's hopeless romanticism reminded her of that movie called Pride and Prejudice that she had seen a while ago with his older sister Talia, specifically that part where Mr. Darcy confesses to Elizabeth. Dina felt so identified with that kind of emotion because she really loved Ellie with the purest and most sincere feeling of protection.

"Dina, you said that you would help me study algreba, but are you feeling alright?" Ellie's teasing voice brought Dina back to earth, snapping her out of her thoughts and fantasies. Surely, Ellie had realized that her girlfriend had looked at her for longer than usual. ''You've been staring at me for literally twenty minutes in complete silence''.

"I'm sorry babe, I got distracted by your beauty''. Dina took the opportunity to flirt with her girlfriend, winking at her after saying this, earning Ellie to gently poke her on the shoulder in embarrassment.

''Shut up dude. Seriously, I have to past this exam because otherwise Joel will take my playstation 4 and he won't let me see you this weekend''. Ellie complained, looking at Dina with a pout on her lips.

"Freckles, even if Joel takes your playstation away, you've got Tess on your side, she'll probably let you play when Joel isn't around, and besides, I think you can live without me''. Dina exposed, to lower the drama for her girlfriend and assure her that nothing too serious would happen.

"I know, I know, but I promised my dad I was going to pass this exam and I don't want to disappoint him". She admitted, with a more serious expression and Dina was about to say something to comfort her, but Ellie opened her mouth to say something else interrupting her. "And I literally need you so bad that I'm going to die if I can't see you." Ellie exaggerated, a big smile on her lips conquering Dina's weak heart, but she rolled her eyes to hide it.

"Okay then, let's go back to studying."

''But Dina, are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?'' Ellie investigate, concerned, still unsettled by the way Dina had been silent earlier. "Did I do something wrong?" Ellie asked a question again, but this time she uttered it in a low voice as if she was afraid she had ruined something.

''My love, I'm fine, I just got distracted by admiring you, I already told you." Dina confessed, feeling how all her blood accumulated on her cheeks, making her blush slightly for having declared that to her girlfriend, that was so cheesy.

''Oh really? I thought you were kidding, dude.'' The incredulous Ellie launched that question with a raised eyebrow and her mouth parted in surprise, she didn't expect that answer. Dina looked down, grabbing Ellie's hand to entwine with hers and that put any doubt out of Ellie's mind. "Fuck, I can't be that in love with you". Saying this, Ellie approached Dina to start kissing her softly on the lips, caressing her cheek lovingly. Dina, more than happy, responded to the kiss immediately, grabbing Ellie's waist to pull her closer.

They kissed until they ran out of air, enjoying the touch between their lips, not wanting to separate. Every time they kissed they felt like they were traveling to another dimension that was just them in their own pink painted world.

Ellie clung to Dina's body and sat on top of her, completely taking over her personal space, passionately biting and kissing her entire neck, sucking on some parts creating hickeys on Dina, who only had her hands around Ellie's hair invaded by the love, she was not able to formulate words, only moans generated by and for Ellie.

Dina with Ellie on her literally sitting on her lap astride while leaving marks on her neck, she couldn't feel more amazed and admired by the way Ellie held her making her feel valuable, as if she were a goddess, as if she were Ellie's true love. Dina lifted her face a little more to give Ellie more access, tangling her fingers in Ellie's short hair.

Ellie was so addicted to her girlfriend that she kissed Dina all over, starting to spread kisses all over her face and slowly moving to her neck. Dina was about to take off her shirt when she heard a couple of knocks on the door.

Dina quickly pushed Ellie away from her and began to smooth her clothes and comb her loose, curly hair with her fingers. Ellie looked at her wanting to laugh, without making an effort to fix her unkempt appearance.

When the door opened, it was Talia who appeared with her phone in hand, her face amused by the situation.

"Nana, I respect your privacy and let you keep the door closed, but control yourself, okay?" Talia teased her younger sister, who was looking in all directions to avoid Talia's eyes, though the woman quickly turned her attention to the other girl, "Hey Ellie Bellie, your old man just called to ask me if you're having dinner here or are you going to dinner in your home, he says he's been calling your phone, but you don't answer and he really needs to know because Tess is going to cook pizza''.

''Thank you for telling me, Talia. And I'm sorry my dad had to call you''. The euphoria and pride that previously overflowed in Ellie disappeared in seconds, now she looked like Dina with enormous shame.

''No problem, El. I don't mind that your old man call me, so what do I tell him? You can stay for dinner if you want''.

"Actually, you don't need to reply to him. I'll text him that I'm having dinner with him and Tess." Ellie responded, quickly pulling her cell phone out of her backpack pocket. "But thanks for inviting me''.

"As I said before, no problem, it's always good to have you home." And that was the last thing Talia said as she left, closing the door behind her, leaving the girls alone again.

Dina turned to look at Ellie and at that moment they both laughed as they endured how awkward the situation had been, Dina even apologized to Ellie for pushing her and reacting like that, to which Ellie simply nodded her head, not even bothering. She understood her because if Ellie was in the same place as Dina, she would have done the same because she wouldn't bear the shame that would invade her body if Joel or Tess saw her in a moment like that.

After an hour, Dina walked Ellie home and they agreed to meet again tomorrow to study algenbra, but this time in Ellie's room and maybe they could even repeat the make-out session.
