Fury stealing the Kids
3 hours after what happened everyone was still in shock from what they had seen and nobody wanted to talk about it so an awkward silence filled the room, until finally Dr. Cho interrupted taking Natasha for the blood transfusion.
The transfusion would be carried out in the same room where the unconscious kids were, nothing had changed since the last time Nat had been there with Steve looking at the kids waiting for a miracle, asking how her double could have had a girl, when for her that was impossible, the red room had taken care of it, and although it had been a solution that Nat had learned to accept, with the passing of the hours the idea of being a mother had not stopped crossing her mind and the image of how little Lexie smiled in her mother's arms hurt more and more, because she could never have something like that.

Dr. Cho's voice took her out of her thoughts and she entered the room sitting in one of the chairs that had been placed on one of the sides of the little redhead's bed.

Natasha turned her face to the door and saw Sharon Carter, she didn't know how to explain it but a wave of fear and anger ran through her body when she saw her enter the room and stand beside a pale James.
Nat: Carter
She greeted the blonde completely hiding how she felt and letting the doctors prepare her and connect her to Lexie. She observe the whole process, anything was better than trying to engage in a conversation with Sharon, although everything seemed to indicate that Sharon did not have the same intentions. As soon as they were alone she tried to talk with the redhead.
Sharon: she looks a lot like you, I feel like I'm looking at you but when you were a kid
She turned to see her and just nodded but without saying a word, the first thing Natasha had noticed about the girl was how much she looked like her. Due to the red room Natasha had no photos of her as a child but she would have loved having them and being able to compare better
Sharon: James look a lot like Steve but he has some things from you too
Natasha looked up at Sharon with a confused face
Nat: From me?
Sharon: yes… Wait didn't you know James was your son too?
Nat: nobody told me that, I thought he was yours
Sharon: I'm sorry to disappoint you but James looks nothing like me
Natasha began to observe James better.
Nat: so they had two kids, that is impossible
Sharon: you have them in front of you it's not impossible, maybe you could give Steve a chance
Nat: Steve? Weren't you dating him?
Sharon: oh no, I did understand on or first date that his heart was already taken
Nat: I don't get it, is Steve in love with someone?
Sharon was enjoying the fact that Nat was interested in knowing more about Steve, maybe this two idiots would finally realize how much they care about each other.
Sharon: I think it would be better if you ask him that. But what I can say is that on our only date he couldn't stop talking about you and the amazing you were, i wish someone will talk about me like that some day, you are lucky.
Sharon gave the widow a smile and did not mention a word again, letting nat to analyzed her words and chose how to deal with the situation, she just hoped that this pair would not take long to realize they were meant for each other.

After the transfusion the kids began to heal faster, which pleased Fury, however he knew that the avengers were still divided, he knew that he had to do something and that his plan could go wrong but he had to try.
He went out to find Torunn and Tyler and tell them his idea, he was afraid they would deny him the favor but to his surprise they both accepted and even convinced Liz and Beth to follow them, Liz accepted but was mad about it, the girl was definitely a Stark. Having the avengers still arguing in the living room he enter with the kids including Sammy
Fury: Hill we are leaving
He announced to the room looking satisfied as everyone turned to see them, Agent Hill looked at him and nodded, walking towards the door when she noticed that she was been followed by the children
Hill: the kids?
Fury: they're coming with us
Tony: you can't take them
Steve: why are they leaving?
The atmosphere became to be more and more tense, everyone had taken attack positions, it was Torunn who decided to talk
Torunn: Just look, you haven't stopped arguing, we can't have Sammy in such an environment
And crossed her arms
Tyler: we have almost lost two of us, we are not going to get into a battlefield between you
Tony: they will leave and we will return to the way we were, I will put more security in the tower
Beth: They won't leave, they can't, not now that they know about our existence
Sam: I'll sign
Steve: what?
Sam: they will not take her away from me, I may not be her true father but as long as I am here I will act as if I were
Scott: I'll sign, I want to see my daughter
Clint: I want to see my family too
Steve couldn't believe his ears, his team turned their backs on him, he could never sign
Pepper: nobody is going to sign anything until we catch Ross for what he did.
Fury: Miss Potts is right nobody is going to sign anything for now you will remain hidden
Bruce: what do you suggest?
Fury: stay together and fix your differences in the meantime I can't expose the kids that way
Tony: You can't kidnap my children
Liz: nobody takes us, we leave
That it was Liz who mentioned that they were leaving on their own left Tony speechless and despite his attempts to continue convincing the children they seemed to have already a decision. Fury left with the children, including Francis, who had already been discharged from medical and he will returned for Lexie and James when they recovered and could travel. Fury hoped that the superheros would fix their problems or he would end up being a nanny for the rest of his life.
