You open your eyes hazily to see your lover al haitham carrying a tray of food. "good morning.. whats that?" you asked, his eyes softend a bit looking at you affectionately. "I brought you breakfast you hungry? You stayed up quite late helping kaveh, you must be tired" you looked at it guessing what he made this morning.
It was a warm stew with some water plain but you loved it anyway. "You didnt have to go through the effort of making me these every morning you know.." "its none of your business wether I like to cook for my love, you shouldnt think of silly things like inconvenience" you giggled softly "well how can I refuse after you made something so delicious for me. Come sit down on bed again with me we can eat this together"
Every morning was like this most of the time you cuddled and ate together till he had to go back to the akademiya. But today was nothing special and it was a weekend so you could spend the entire day together. The morning just consisted of small pecks and kisses from each other as you help with chores around the house.
In the evening you were done and tired waiting on the couch for al haitham to finnish up. "You done yettt?" "Almost just wait a minute will you, you sound like a little girl" "can't I have needs and I want you beside me now!" "Alright i just finished brewing some coffee ill be there in a minute"
After he sat down you lay down on his chest resting your head. He picked up a book and started reading while drinking some coffee. You were getting sleepy and you fell asleep peacefully while wrapping your hands around his arm. When he noticed you he immediately put the book down beside him he took the blanket beside him and placed it on you. He hummed lightly not to make much noise and startle you but a cute familiar lullaby he always loved to sing to himself when he thinks about you.
Days like these could last forever just laying on his chest and his head on yours humming a tune.
