Sleeping deeply…not when the curtains decided to shine. The sound of the bed squeaks a little. The light rushed to my closed eye, Then was pecked in the cheeks.
“Kronii~?...Wakey wakey~” The sound of the familiar voice I hear every day in my life.
I mumbled back.. “5 more minutes…”
“There's no 5 more min now Kroniiiii,” She said[Mumei]
I tried opening my eyes without blinding myself. I slowly open my eye—blinking through the light and seeing a figure in front of my sight blocking the light. Clearly, my saviour so prevents me from going blind today..HAH.
“Kronii~ wake up now~ do you know what day is it?”
I mumbled again with an “mmmm?”
“It's valentines day! Haven't you planned your brains out for this valentines?”
I stood up blinking my eyes up and stopping the time unexpectedly… but Holy shoot! Valentines?! God-..To-do today?? I snapped back in time. My eyes widen and I gave a huh expression like as if I don't know what it is…
“Happy Valentine's silly!” She said as she kissed my cheeks again.
I suddenly ‘pumfed!’. It's way too early to be blushing but why not on valentines day? But suddenly she slowly is going to be getting out of bed.
“Wait..” I snatched her before she steps foot on the floor. She[Mumei] looks at me back
“What is it, baby?” Mumei replied in a very concerned way.
“Stay here for a while…” I said with a very pleading face, I mean? Is there something she's going to do this morning?
She hops back in the bed and she leaned her back on the headboard of the bed and I cuddled her from the front and proceeded to go back to sleep. The moment I hugged her I felt the warmth and the softness of her skin. I have never slept this fast…I mean I was STILL really sleepy. I really slept quickly..not even 10 seconds—No, 1 second..What a record.. I don't even know if I stayed up too late at night..?? Weird?

I have wakened up again after an hour, It appears like Mumei also fell asleep. I look at the clock, It was blurry, I rubbed my eyes and looked back.
“Shoot! 10:21 am” I whispered in surprise, Am I jetlagged too much or what? I tapped Mumei in the back. And I said:
“Mumeii~ Wake up time~”
“Okeyyyy, ill make breakfast” replies with her eyes blinking.
Both stand up from the bed and proceeds to go on their valentine's date.
And so they went different ways, Kronii proceeded to prepare sandwiches for the picnic and Mumei prepared breakfast
I did the necessary things like washing my face to maintain my PERFECTNESS and so on do my things as usual. After, I sat down and opened my phone.
I'm actually impressed that Youtube videos will help me with this. I opened my phone to search and typed out—I stopped and went to google first, I assumed what I should cook, I really don't want it to be too hard to make or maybe some of the ingredients that we don't have in our home. I typed out in the Google search: recommendation sandwiches for a picnic. I place a blank face, after all, it all looks good and maybe not easy to make…Listen! I'm just a beginner…my a*s ain't going to learn these in one go…I searched and went to multiple websites and didn't understand a thing…I scrolled for 10 min but Oh well LOL. I really think there's something very interesting here too, but it feels hard to do BUT it is.. interesting indeed. I wasted your time and my time on this, let's just go back to Youtube. I searched out: how to make sandwiches easy. Basic ones! After loading, there is some—ALL! Yummy sandwiches, well I think that it is easy since I checked it's only 3min..well…. it's only a tutorial, I wouldn’t really assume it's created in at least 3 min easily! I clicked the first which is “3 easy egg mayo sandwich recipes” Lots of views… I assume Mumei would like this! I watched it all. 1st sandwich the person made was something simple which is like the basic? Basic like? I guess in how to make an egg sandwich, the second was interesting too! Pretty easy to make and so is the third, I disregarded the chilli or spicy sauces but I thought about something different…why not club sandwiches? From these decisions, I feel the TIME asking what direction I want to go…At that point, I wanna try making it BOTH! So then I watched later the first video I watched, I went back and scrolled more and there's this video titled “How To Make Clubhouse Sandwich At Home - Sandwich Recipies” It has a lot of views too and it's also 3 min. I clicked on it. I'm impressed. It's also..good, but..why not both? As I drop my phone Mumei called,
“Kronii! Brunch a ready!” {Brunch - A combination of breakfast and lunch}
I walked her to the kitchen and she prepared some omelette, which I think people will assume it hers(the egg)..? It ain't! And she cooked some hash browns that were in the freezer for almost..I don't know when..all I know is it's still edible! And she also has berries on her plate. I sat with her at the counter where there were chairs. Mumei’s foods are the best, tell me what she's the best girlfriend I asked for ^^. I sat on the chair mean while Mumei was taking off her apron that I bought her that says: Kiss the cook :sparkle: :sparkle:, I laughed, she sat beside me and I kissed her on the cheek.
“Just eat!”Mumei said in a VERY flustered way.
I laughed.
“C’mon..the apron was cool though!” I smiled and then took a bite of my food. I muffled,
“MMFm! This is good!”
She laughs,
“Go finish it then!”
“Hehe!”
(Good lord I love her, goofy Kronii) - Mumei
- After eating -
“It’s good..I’ll wash the dishes now, go rest for a while,” Kronii said with pressure.
“Such a gentleWOMAN you are” Mumei gives a kiss on Kronii.
Kronii mumbles after Mumei walks to the living room… “I just want a kiss..mhm”
Kronii proceeds to clean the table and the dishes. After all those, she looks at the wall clock.
“11:58..hmm…I should probably do it now or?” I walked up to Mumei and asked
“ Mumei, is there any lettuce left from what you used last night?”
“I think so…maybe check the fridge.”
“Alright” I replied [Kronii]
I pulled my phone out and got back to the tab where the 3 egg sandwich yeahh yeahh…. Once I clicked on the video I did the things the tutorial told me. Well…it didn’t tell me to boil, I will do so though. I put on my apron, well not Mumei’s, Heh, I proceeded to get a medium size pot to at least fit 3-5 eggs. I placed the egg inside the pot and so on I put the water in. Mumei heard I was doing something she stood up and sneaked into the kitchen.
“Whatchu doing babe?” She asks.
“Oh, I'm just TRYING to make some sandwiches for our date later..heh,” I replied
“Let me help you there Kronii”
“But I'm supposed to be doing it?”
“If you fail, we’ll end up with Subway again, Plus we’re a couple~!” Mumei replies with a chuckle
“Oh right then..”
She[Mumei] turned the stove on to medium-low heat meanwhile in checking for ingredients for the second video which is the clubhouse sandwich. I checked my phone again and I'm pretty confident we have those ingredients because we did shop for groceries the other day…
12 min later -
Mumei calls Kronii that the eggs are done,
“Kroniii~! The eggs are boiled now!”
“On my way!” I shouted from the living room.
I went to the kitchen and saw the eggs in cold water. I choked,
“Mumei..why did you put it in cold water..???”
“Oh, so it helps you to peel it easily and also you won't burn your hands.” She responds straight forward
I really doubt I really will make a mess if she didn’t help me, well then I accept my faith! Loving my girlfriend (smug). After I guess a few minutes I gently crack and roll the egg like Mumei told me and voila! Perfect-shaped egg, Just like me. Next like the tutorial told me, I chopped 2 eggs into half and separate the inside or should I call it the yolk, Then I was asked to chop them into teeny tiny squares or a few big bits, well...I suppose not that small thought… I moved the chopped ones now and proceeded to go back to the yolk and squish it as the video told me to. I ran through the fridge to get mayo but all of a sudden, “A wild animal appeared!” Get it..? Pokemon..? Right, let's go back.. The animal ran past me running for her life… I suppose she doesn't want to get her nails trim because after that Mumei also came running with a scissor, in a term nail cutter for dogs.
“Animal!! Comeback we need you ready for later!” Mumei demands.
Poor animal…but she needs it so..It is what it IS. Going back, Since I got the mayo I also looked forward to the video to get the necessary things like the black pepper and so is salt. I placed the 2 spoons of mayo because… that's all what it did in the video… black pepper and a pinch of salt and mixed it all! After mixing it, I added the white part of the egg and 1 tsp of vinegar and mixed it all again. I was glad it wasn't that hard and I'm not actually making a mess. Next…the tutorial told me to chop the sides of the bread loaf, so I did and then I spread the spread of egg mayo..the one I made and cut it in two. Well, the final output is just cool…Right if you can just see it. It looks good though! I put the 2 cutted sandwiches in a medium size bento box…I tell you not, I can't even make a normal bento box meal. Easy sandwich! Now on to the second video…I know the 2nd video I watched and it had the list of ingredients. I'll do this straight..let me just ready the ingredients. Aight, I actually have a mistake..? I should’ve put the bacon and the ham out of the freezer earlier— which will probably take some time to unfreeze..? Nahh! place that bad boy on the microwave! Defrost it girl!
For a second I was embarrassed by my actions, what if Mumei was watching me...
I placed the bacon first and turned on defrost mode on the microwave, well I'm not going to put the whole pack of bacon in, just placed 2 because that's all what the instruction said and I'm going to do the same with the ham.
After 11 min -
I took it out of the microwave and it..looks like it was kind of like ready to be cooked in a pan but it’s ready now so we CRISTP it. I shall cook da bacon first! I replaced the pot on the sink and placed a cooking pan on the stove and add cooking oil to it. Just a few seconds or min, I checked if it was hot and so then I placed the bacon first and placed it till it was perfect. Yes, I searched! I will not make the same mistake again… I sweated..
After all the cooking ( Like toasting the bread in the cooking pan too)
I got the lettuce..and cutted it at least the size of the bread. All of a sudden Mumei came out—
“Kronii, Need help?”
“Oh- Yeah..I need to buy chicken spread, I need to go to the convenience store. You can cut tomatoes”
“Alright!” She replies.
[Time skip!-]
Back home after 6 min,
“Done Babe!” She surprises me.
“Thank youuu”
“Oh by the way..mind if you leave some tomatoes, ill be doing salad too.”
“Don't worry ill only use a little!” I replied.
I placed the chicken spread on the bread, placed lettuce on top, tomatoes, a lil bit of salt and pepper then placed the bacon and ham and so on the bread. We repeat it again except we cut the tomato part and add sliced cheese then tomato. After adding the bacon and egg we add the top bread and after all those, we cut it into 4 pieces. I'm impressed by myself, This year is a lucky year for me.. I placed the sandwich carefully on one of the sides bento box and decided to leave a space for the salad. Mumei came back and got Animal in hostage with a cute little shirt outfit
“Woahh, looks good!” Mumei holding Animal.
I laughed, “What happened to Animal?”
“I gave her a bath!”
“She's sooo fluffy right nowww”
I took off my apron and took a rest on the side of the counter while watching Mumei make a salad. Then I said out of nowhere,
“Wanna take a bath together?”
“Mhhm..go prepare the basket and blanket first”
“Ok ok..” I chuckled.
