Chapter 142
Chapter 142-
Packing didn’t take that long, It was just a day and a back up outfit in case I needed to change. I neatly folded everything into the overnight bag I had never used but for some reason Will talked me into buying yesterday.
“Might want to take a jacket and something warmer to lounge in.” Natasha said as she stood in the doorway. “It gets cold at night.”
“Leggings and oversized chunky knit sweater?” I suggested.
“The other one, it brings out your eyes.” She said pulling out a dark purple sweater I had never seen before. Will must’ve snuck it in. Or Nat.
“Cute.” I said taking it and putting it in the bag before closing it. “What’s on your mind?”
“Nothing…” She said.
“You have that look.” I said. Natasha smiled before walking up to me and kissing me. I smiled and put my arms around her hugging her. Nat hugged me tight and we just stayed like that for a few minutes. Not saying anything.
“Nadya.” She said breaking the silence.
“Nadya?” I asked confused.
“If we could have a baby together, The way I imagine it, we’d have a girl. She’d have your eyes and her hair would be like yours but more copper. We’d name her Nadia.” Nat said. “Because it means hope and that’s what kids are. They’re hope”
“We can have that.” I said.
“The red room sterilized me.” Natasha said sadly. “And with everything I’ve done. I was never going to have a chance at that. I have you, Clint… The team and I get to be the favorite aunt to your kids. That’s more than I was ever supposed to have.”
“But…” I started.
“Krasivaya.” Natasha said switching to Russian. “I’m not telling you this because I want to make plans and start looking into adoption or ways to have a kid. I’m telling you this because I want you to have that. I’ve seen the way you are with Adam, the way you and Clint light up whenever you start talking about starting a family.”
“We’re not starting a family Nat we’re just expanding it.” I said. “You’re our family too. All of you are and that’s never going to change.”
She kissed me again before we started moving onto the bed and started making out. I slipped my hand under her tank top and cupped her breast making her moan.
“Hales I- Woah!” Clint exclaimed making us pull away.
“Hey ready?” I said.
“Uh yeah, We can go later if you need some alone time.” Clint offered with his back to us. Nat sat up and pulled her shirt down.
“I’ll see you when you get back.” She said kissing me before smirking at Clint as she walked out.
“Sorry about that…” Clint said awkwardly.
“Don’t know why you’re so freaked out. It’s not like you haven’t seen me naked before. Or Nat.” I said.
“Yeah I’ve just never seen you both…” he started. “Go at it.”
“Got caught in the moment.” I said smiling. “But I’m ready to go see our house.”
“I’ll take that.” He said taking my bag.
“It’s not heavy.” I said.
“Doesn’t matter.” Clint said swinging it onto his shoulder before putting an arm around my shoulder and hugging me as we walked to the elevator. Once we got to the garage and took out the car keys and opened the trunk. “You went all out.”
“I did.” I said as we loaded everything. “You want to take first shift?”
“Sure.” He said catching the keys I tossed him. We got in the car and pulled out.
Clint, while going slightly above the speed limit was a very safe driver. His amazing reflexes and sight probably had something to do with it. When it was finally my turn to drive he wouldn’t give up the seat.
“Clint.” I said.
“Nope.” He said.
“Honey, it’s a long drive.” I said.
“And we’re making really good time.” Clint said. “I’m used to long drives and flights. Besides, I want a big reveal.”
“Big reveal?” I asked as Clint pulled out a blindfold.
“Yup.” He said as he put the blindfold on. “We’re less than an hour away. Relax Take a nap.” He said squeezing my hand.
“I’ll nap when we get home.” I said not letting go of his hand.
“You know as great as driving a sports car is, if we had taken the truck I could hold you while I drive.” Clint said.
“I’ll remember that next time.” I said smiling. I traced the lines and callouses of Clint’s hand and I started getting a bit sleepy. Next thing I knew my door was opening and Clint was trying to help me out of the car.
“Okay just take a few steps and stop.” Clint said before carefully undoing the blindfold and finally getting a look at our new home. The exteriors had been completely redone. The roof had been fixed, the shingles had been replaced and painted along with the walls. The porch rails had been replaced and painted as well and there was even a swing already set up.
“Is this the same house?” I asked.
“It had good bones.” Clint smiled as he took my hand before we headed inside. The hardwood floors were so well polished I could almost see my reflection in them. They were a dark cherry wood. The walls were a light beige color with wood paneling. We walked down the hall and I saw the giant hole in the ceiling had been patched up. Couldn’t even tell there was a hole there before. All of the windows had been replaced. Then we walked into the kitchen and I started laughing.
“You put in a breakfast nook.” I said smiling. “And the granite counter tops.”
“Redid all of the plumbing too. Custom built all of the cabinets because I know you like it when they’re spaced a certain way.” He said. “And the fireplace which had a bat living in it…”
“A bat?” I asked.
“The racoons were easier to deal with.” Clint said.
“You did all of this on your own?” I asked.
“I was staying busy and the house needed a lot of work. You picked the right house.” He said as we walked to what was going to be the den. The fireplace was restored and by the looks of it had already been used before. There was a mattress and a minifridge in the room with a duffle bag filled with some of Clint’s clothes. “What do you think?”
“I love it.” I said tearing up a bit. “This is… This is better than anything I could have imagined.”
“Hey,” He said wiping tears off of my face. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing I’m just. Happy.” I said hugging him. “Thank you.”
“You don’t have to thank me, its my house too.” Clint said putting his arms around me.
“You practically built me my dream house from scratch.” I said. “Not everyone could pull this off.”
“It’s not just your dream.” He said as we sat down on the bed. “See those hooks?” Clint said looking above the fireplace mantle. There were two dark hooks a few feet from each other. “That’s where I’m hanging up my bow.”
“I didn’t think you meant it literally.” I said.
“Of course I meant it.” Clint said pulling me onto his lap. “I’m probably not going to hang the one I take on missions but my practice bow, that’s going up there.”
“Want to put some arrows up while we’re at it?” I asked.
“Not real ones” He said kissing my shoulder. I moved so I was still sitting on his lap but facing him.
“We’ll need a couch, big L shaped one for when we fall asleep watching TV. I was thinking grey so it’ll go with the dark purple couch pillows we’ll get.” I said. “And set up the yard so you have your own archery range”
“The basement will be the armory.” He said. “They’ll be locked and we can ask Tony for extra security measures.”
“I want one of those huge fridges that has temperature controlled partitions.” I said. “And two ovens.”
“Two?” Clint asked.
“It’ll make it easy during the holidays.” I said running my fingers through his hair. “And the wood paneling in the doorway by the kitchen, That’s where we’ll mark the kids height. I used to do that for myself at the house in Seattle.”
“Yeah.” He said kissing down my neck making me moan. Clint’s hands moved down my back to butt as I rocked my hips a bit. I pulled Clint back to kiss him as he flipped us onto the bed. He smiled at me as he started kissing along my collarbones, slowly moving down as he unbuttoned my top. He slipped a hand behind me to unhook my bra before slipping his hands under and kneading my breasts as he kissed up my neck.
I reached down and started unbuttoning his flannel and pulling off his shirt. Clint pulled away a bit to pull of his shirt. I looked at his chest and stomach and looked at a scar I didn’t remember seeing before.
“South Africa, Hydra outpost. Went straight through without hitting anything. Didn’t even notice until we were back on the jet.” He said putting a hand over mine.
“Are you going to miss it?” I asked. “The adrenaline rush and adventure…”
“No, I’ve been doing this job since I was sixteen and that’s not counting everything before that. Besides the adventures aren’t over.” Clint said smiling.
“I love you.” I said making Clint smile.
“Love you too.” He said kissing me again before picking up right where he left off, slowly kissing down my body. When he reached my shorts he unbuttoned them and helped me pull them off. Clint kneeled in between my legs as he kissed up my thighs slowly teasing me before he pulled my legs over his shoulders and finally started eating me out.
“Ah!” I gasped as he sucked on that perfect little spot. He started giving me more, pushing in a. finger and then another as he kept working me. One of his hands move up to knead one of my breasts. I started getting close to the edge.
“Getting close baby.” Clint said curling his fingers onto just the right spot.
“Clint...” I moaned gently tugging on his hair. He smiled before starting to go faster. Sucking harder and that was all it took. “Clint! Ah!”
“Mh.” Clint hummed as he moved up the bed. He cupped my cheek gently checking on me. I was panting but smiling. I forgot how good he was at that. I moved my hand behind his head and pulled him down to kiss him. I moved my hand down to his pants and started unbuttoning them. I slipped my hand under and took him in my hand making Clint groan into the crook of my neck.
I moved my hand up and down to feel him before pulling his pants down a bit freeing him. I bent my knees and spread my legs a bit. Clint reached down and started rubbing himself up and down my slit.
“Hales?” He whispered and I know what he was asking. I smiled while I nodded. Clint smiled and kissed me as he pulled my legs around his waist before pushing in.
“Ah.” We moaned before he started moving slowly.
“Fuck baby.” Clint groaned. “Feels so good.”
“Clint.” I moaned as he brushed against that one spot making my toes curl. I moved my legs up higher letting him go deeper and hitting that spot harder and better than before. “Yes yes, right there.”
“I love you.” Clint moaned. “Love you so damn much.”
“Clint.” I cried out digging my nails into his back as I started getting close.
“Just a little more.” He whispered as he kissed me before moving faster while he held me as close as he could. I hugged him tight while he pounded into me making me come hard.
“Clint!” I shouted.
“Hayley! Uh!” Clint moaned while he kept moving as I squeezed him tight milking him for everything he had before he collapsed on me. “Shit, that was…”
“Mh.” I hummed as I kissed his forehead and held him. Clint slowly moved off of me kissing me as he pulled out of me. He sat on the edge of the bed and pulled off his pants completely before lying down again and pulling me into his arms.
“You good?” He asked.
“Mh very good.” I said kissing his chest as I looked up at him. Clint smiled before running a hand through my hair and kissing the top of my head.
“We just broke in our house.” Clint said chuckling a bit.
“Just the den.” I said and Clint smirked.
“It’s a big house.” Clint said.
“We have time.” I answered making him smile.
“Yeah we do.” He seconded holding me close as we drifted to sleep.
It was a bit darker and colder when I woke up from my nap. I put on my underwear and Clint’s shirt before going to the bathroom. Clint really did an amazing job on the everything. The bathroom was brand new, from the tub and tiling to the sink and plumbing. I relieved myself before opening the door and walking down the hall to grab a glass of water, well water bottle from the mini fridge. I cracked open the bottle and leaned against the counter.
I heard Clint wake up and then footsteps as he ran to the kitchen.
“Hey.” I said and he just walked over to me and hugged me tight as he kissed my forehead. “Clint, honey.” I hugged him back feeling him shake.
“Sorry, I woke up and you weren’t there. Thought I was dreaming again.” He said.
“Dreaming?” I asked confused.
“It happened a lot last year. I couldn’t be in the tower, couldn’t even be in the city so I stayed here and I’d have this dream sometimes. We’d be here, we’d talk about… everything and fall asleep together. Then I’d wake up and you wouldn’t.” He said.
“I’m sorry.” I said hugging him. “I’m sorry I put you through that.”
“You did what you thought you had to.” Clint said. “Just next time…”
“There won’t be a next time.” I said. “We’re retired.”
“But if something happens, anything we deal with it together.” He said taking my hand. “No going after assassins, or chasing leads on your own.”
“It won’t happen but if it does I promise I’m not dealing with it like before. We do it together.” I said running my hand through his hair as he leaned his forehead against mine.
“Are you hungry?” Clint asked. “There’s cold pizza.”
“That’s the best kind.” I said smiling.
“I’ll go grab some wood for a fire. Pizza’s in the cooler.” He said.
“Need help?” I asked.
“I’ll be quick.” He said kissing me before going to grab wood from the front porch. I grabbed the pizza from the fridge and walked back to the den. I heard some noise from outside before the door opened and closed and Clint ran in. “Ah, it’s getting cold out there.”
“Should have given you your shirt back.” I said. He quickly set everything up and started the fire before jumping under the covers.
“Just need a sec.” Clint said.
“Hold on.” I said slipping off the shirt and hugging him. “Faster to get warm with some skin to skin contact.”
“Best way to get warm.” He said kissing me.
“And we have pizza.” I said bringing the plate closer.
“You know maybe we should just keep the den like this.” Clint said. “We have a fireplace, a bed, what more should we need.”
“No, we’re getting a king size upstairs in the master.” I said. “So we can cuddle but when Nat comes over she can sleep with us and not complain we’re suffocating her every time we try to cuddle with her. We’re going to have a few spare rooms for when everyone comes spend the night. Except the one across the hall that one’s staying empty for a while. We’re going to get a cabinet with biosensor locks for all of your toys because there’s no way you’re giving them up. Dining table we’re probably never going to use but still get anyway. And from there, we’ll just wing it. Make it our own.”
“You have it all figured out.” He said.
“Only because you did the heavy lifting.” I said. “Which not to force any gender roles or be anti-feminist because if I had the chance I would have helped rebuild our house, makes us even for the nine months of pregnancy and hours of very painful labor I’m going to endure for our children.”
Clint just had this adorable dopey smile on his face. I could tell he was imagining it all.
“Yeah…” He said smiling as he stared at me before moving to hover over me before kissing me. “What are we going to do with the empty room across the hall?”
“I was thinking it could be the nursery.” I said wrapping my legs around him and flipping us over so I was on top. “It’s close to our room.” I said kissing him as I put my arms around his shoulders, running my fingers through his hair. “So that when the baby wakes up crying in the middle of the night for a diaper change we won’t have to go far.”
“Need to learn to do that.” Clint said kissing down my neck.
“If you can disarm a bomb and calculate the right angle at which to shoot an arrow, taking into consideration wind speed and resistance to hit a target the size of a donut hole from over a hundred meters away, you can figure it out.” I said leaning my forehead against his. “You’re going to be an amazing dad Clint. And you want to know how I know?”
“Hm?” He hummed.
“Because they’re not here yet and you already love them so much.” I said. “That’s the most important thing, everything else we can figure out along the way.”
Clint sat up and pulled me into a kiss.
“No adventure I’ve ever been on will ever compare to the life we’re going to start here because this is going to be the best one of them all.” He said making me smile.
Third Person’s POV- Moscow
Oleg was at his table taking a shot of Vodka as he looked over the books. He was always aware of his surroundings so he knew the familiar tapping of woman’s heels that was getting closer and closer was here for him.
His guards immediately stopped her.
“Let her pass.” He said without looking away from his books and they immediately moved to the side. The woman continued walking and slipped into the seat in front of him.
“Oleg.” Allison greeted.
“If you’re here for the body, you’re wasting your time.” Oleg said.
“I’m not here for Hadrian.” Allison said. “I want to talk about my other child.”
“Calliope,” He said.
“Tell me about her.” Allison said.
“What do you want to know?” Oleg asked.
“Everything.” She said.
