Newly appointed Head disciple Shen Jiu tried avoiding those rumours. But each time he met other head disciples or attended monthly meetings, he came across critical insults thrown at him by those selfish alphas, especially Qi Qingqi and Liu Qingge. Though there were some who didn't mind him like Mu Qingfang, a beta who always took neutral stand and Shang Qinghua, the mousy omega who himself can't raise his voice.
The Peak Lady of Qing Jing was not at all ashamed of her head disciple. Because she was the only one who knew about his omega status till now. She was proud of him, no matter what. His intelligence and strategic mind ensured bright future of the Sect. The alpha lady fiercely protected her head disciple when accused in the Peak Lords' meeting.
One day she summoned him only to say, "The Peak Lords and Ladies warned of vetoing you and removing you from your position."
"Shizun...." the omega's eyes filled with shock.

"No!" Shen Jiu blurted but then apologized, "This disciple apologies for his impulsiveness. But I can't do that. I won't. If they know about truth, they'll never respect me for my real talents. They'll pamper me, underestimate me and soon they'll begin rumours that I seduced my way to this Head discipleship. You know how omega head disciples and peak lords are looked down upon. May not be the best example but still, Shang Qinghua, has been looked down upon. Even if he's a mousy omega, he's a responsible head disciple. Most of them are alphas... these alphas....they only know how to...force themselves..." All those memories of his life as a slave and street rat appeared before his eyes. Qi-ge was an alpha he entrusted but he betrayed him... he never returned. Qiu Jianluo was an alpha who traumatized him and forced himself on him. Qiu Haitang was a naive alpha girl who turned a blind eye to all his miseries. Wu Yanzi, his previous alpha teacher destroyed his bright future in cultivation and abused him.... all of them were same.
"A-Jiu," A calming voice interrupted him. Suddenly, a gush of calming maternal pheromones soothed his nerves and he felt warmth of his Shizun who hugged him. His alpha Shizun was different. "But Shizun...I can't let them know...my power... my command would be useless," the omega's voice cracked.
"I have a solution," She said, "Several centuries ago, Cang Qiong had an omega sect leader. She was pride of Qiong Ding and the Sword of Cang Qiong. She wrote a book named 'The Art of Omega Command' along with the then Omega Peak Lady of Xian Shu. I feel that you'll find your own way after reading it. Their knowledge will enlighten your mind. There's a copy preserved in Qing Jing library. I give you 10 days to study it and think rationally. After 20 days, there'll be joint meeting of Peak Lords and Head disciples. You'll have to give justification about all the rumours."
"As Shizun orders," Shen Jiu accepts his assignment. His green eyes looked at his Shizun like a small pup looking at his mother.

Shen Jiu was neither an emotional fool like Yue Qingyuan nor an impulsive 'honorable' alpha like Liu Qingge. He analyzed the whole situation and realized it had gone so bad that the Peak Lords might remove him during the next meeting. This time no lies would work. Revealing his omega status was the only option remaining.
He followed his Shizun's command and went to Qing Jing library to find the solution. Though he expected some morale and moderate kind of knowledge in 'The Art of Omega Command'. Not that he didn't believe in his Shizun or the great writers of that book. But he knew the hypocrisy of alphas that eventually ruled the society had been instilled in every omega's brain too.
But what he found was totally unexpected. His Shizun was right...she never failed to give correct advice. He was so engrossed in reading the book that he almost spent 4 nights and 5 days completing it. His Shizun had relieved him from his usual work for studying this.
