The Day We Nearly Died... and We Lost it All
If course, being a hero wasn't easy. You nearly die in every mission. However, the Marvel Siblings always had the feels of not being near death but had to suffer watch when those they love nearly die.
They watched Bruce painful transformation, ready to fight as the Hulk, only to cry himself to sleep after that. They watched Thor falling out if the sky, after overusing too much than he usually use to. They watched Nat having short panic attacks when the Red Room was mentioned. They watched Steve and Bucky nearly losing hope when their past nearly caught on to them. They watched Vision suffer many damages that infected his wires and the Mind Stone. They watched Rhodey helplessly fall to his paralyze state. They watched Sam getting knocked arpund in mid air and nearly fall to his death, he has his ways of surving. They watched Clint nearly die with so many bruises and tortured whenever they were captured.They watched T'Challa nearly losing all of his strenght to fight and fall. They watched Tony having so many panic attacks in situvation that was unthinkable; Peter in danger, his teammates dying, him not able to go home, him failing everyone, him not able to SAVE everyone!
Everything, but... this was no mere battle. No. This time... it was the adults watching the kids nearly losing it all.
"PETER!"
Peter snapped back to reality as he heard Wanda screaming his name. He only jumped back, when Wanda stopped a giant, blazing hot metal piece with her powers, from falling right on top of him. Tossing to the side, Wanda continued to stop other falling objects.
They were the only three people left, this mission was a hostage saving type. They were in a crumbling, burning school, where students were still presented in with their helders. The Avengers were at their aid, they loaded the students out, but their villain had lit the school on flames and Shuri scanned it and their was only ten minutes left to escape. The adults needed to avacute the school, while the children were the only cable of holding the building high up and strong until everyone was out.
"SHURI!"
Peter screamed on top of his lungs as a flaming piece made his way to the young princess, whose back was turned. Acting fast he webbed the object as it bounced back, away from her to his relief.
"WANDA!"
Shuri screeched, causing Peter to look up and cry out as three pieces made it way towards their big sister, who looked extremely exhausted to notice. Shuru grabbed one of her gadgets and a large Vibranium silent wave pushed back the boulders as Wanda glance over at Shuri with a grateful, tired smile.
The kids were now back to back with each other...
"Three minutes left..." Shuri whispered.
Peter and Wanda shared a look, frowning.
"Then we have to make the best of it," Wanda whispered back, causing her two younger siblings to smile.
"Well, it's not like we have a choice," Peter coolly said, grinning under his mask.
He heard his two sisters laugh lightly, before they then gave their full at it. Tired, exhausted, and sweaty, it was then Nat's voice screamed into their ear pieces,
"KIDS! GET OUT OF THERE! YOU HAVE A MINUTE LEFT!"
"Is everyone-," Wanda began.
"YES! NOW HURRY!"
"Guys, the window," Peter scanned the room, only to lay eyes on the window.
"45 seconds!" Shuri cried, she and her two siblings ran for it.
They felt the burning plates behind them, the building was going to crash any minute, they were almost there. They were going to.
Shuri screamed in pain, falling flat on to the floor. A rubble fell on top of her legs.
"SHURI!!!" Peter and Wanda screamed, turning back, Wanda used her powers to push the rubble off as Peter quickly cradle Shuri into his arms.
Ten secounds left...
The oldest and youngest shared a look. Nodding.
Shuri's eyes widen.
Peter threw Shuri out of the window as Wanda used her powers to guide her safely to the ground. Shuri landed onto the soft grass, safely... only to watch the building to crash down!
"PETER! WANDA! NO!!!" Shuri screamed on top of her lungs.
It fell.
The building fell.
Neither Peter or Wanda made it out in Shuri's eyes. Tears streaming down her face, she fainted.
Peter and Wanda stayed hidden under Wanda's forcefields that she managed to make in the last second. Rubbles hit the force field as Wanda winced ever so slightly. Peter had his head in his knees, trembling, knowing there was nothing he could do to help her ease her nerves.
Finally. It stopped. Wanda slowly took off the force field and literally, three seconds later, Clint and Tony came to them, breathing heavily.
"Kids! Are you okay?!" Tony and Clint nearly said in unison.
The two nodded.
Only to filched and step back as both men hollered at them.
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!?! WANDA! DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRY NAT AND I WERE?!" Clint screamed as Wanda's eyes widen. Her father yelled at her only once in a while if she did something very stupid. This... was off.
"D-dad, I'm s-sor-" Wanda began, only to jump back.
"SORRY IS NOT GONNA CUT IT!" Clint cried, Wanda felt tears forming in her eyes.
"PETER! WHAT WERE EVEN THINKING?!" Tony pratically yelled as Peter took a step back, eyes wide.
Mr. Stark never really yelled at him before. This... this can't be happening.
"M-mr. Stark, I c-can-" Peter whimpered out.
"EXPLAIN WHAT?" Tony exclaimed as Peter began to feel his eyes to prickle.
"BOTH OF YOU COULD'VE DIED!!!"
The teens looked over to see Nat storming in, eyes flaring. Steve, Bruce, and Thor shook their heads in disaproval.
Was everyone was going against them? Peter and Wanda looked at each other with glossy eyes.
"We didn't-" both kids only managed but were cut off again by the enragement of all six adults.
"BY ODIN BEARD?! DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW WORRIED WE WERE? LIKE YOU DIDN'T EVEN CARED!"
"SHURI IS INJURED, NO NAME IN SCIENCE KNOWS WHAT COULD HAPPEN TO HER!"
"DO YOU EVEN REALIZE HOW LUCKY YOU ARE?! IF THIS WERE BACK IN THE WAR, YOU TWO WOULD HAVE BEEN FRIED, HAVE YOU EVEN THOUGHT OF THAT?!"
"YOU TWO HAVE DONE MANY THINGS, THIS IS FAR THE STUPIDEST THING YOU EVER DONE!! I SCREAMED FOR YOU GET OUT, BUT IT HAD TO BE FIVE MINUTES TILL WE ACTUALLY COULD MAKES SURE YOU WERE OKAY?!"
"WANDA! WHAT WERE YOU EVEN THINKING? WERE YOU EVEN AT ALL?! DID YOU FULLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT ME? DO YOU EVEN REALIZE THE TROUBLE YOU COST?!"
"PETER! AFTER ALL OF IN THE PAST, WE BEEN THROUGH, NOT A SINGLE THING RING IN YOUR HEAD OF WHAT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU IF ANYTHING WENT WRONG?! DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT PROBLEMS COULD HAVE COST IF YOU AND WANDA HAD-"
"THEN MAYBE WE SHOULD'VE DIED!" Peter screamed out, startling all six adult as they looked at him appalled. Peter had tears streaming down his face. Wanda not any better.
"That way... you don't need to bother worrying..." Wanda whispered, not looking at anyone in the eye.
Silence until Peter and Wanda suddenly sprinted the opposite direction, full out crying.
"PETER, COME BACK!" Tony screamed out, tripping over a lose rock.
"WANDA! WAIT!" Clint and Nat desprately cried.
Too late, Wanda flew off as Peter webbed his way out.
They were not going to look back. If they did. They might go back and cause more trouble for everyone...
"Thanos... we are almost at Earth..."
"Ah, yes... I feel them close by..." Thanos whispered bitterly, fumbling with the four stones he had: Reality, Power, Soul, and Space.
The Space stone shined brightly.
"Sssh... it will be fine... we'll find Time and Mind soon..." Thanos whispered as a smirk feel onto his face. "Soon... Peter. Wanda. And Shuri. They will meet their one truely."
Finishing that line, Reality, Power, and Soul glowed brighter.
Thanos pulled back his head and let out a terrible laugh. .
