“Have you ever heard of the French Mistake, Mr. Stark?” Peter had asked, his eyes wide in realization“Can’t say that I have” he mumbles, looking back to the people in from of them“It’s an episode from Supernatural..the characters end up in the real world where their lives are just a TV show”“What does that have to do with anything”“I think that’s what happened to us” Peter and Tony end up in our world, and let’s just say that it’s very meta. They meet RDJ, Tom Holland and friends, get introduced to the Marvel fanbase and watch movies all while trying to find Dr. Strange in this weird alternate world. Hi, so if you're looking for a longer explanation on what happened with this fic, here's where I'm putting it.

So I remember writing this on my crappy laptop with a half broken keyboard being so excited to post new chapters. I don't really know what happened after a certain point, I just fell into a funk and couldn't figure out how to add another chapter. At that point, I started moving on from my marvel fixation.

But this fic has ALWAYS lived in the back of my head, rent free. Especially because I see comments every once in a while asking about it. I started re-writing it YEARS ago, but the problem was I'd start, then stop, then come back to it after my writing skills had gotten better. Basically: I was stuck in editing hell for a long time with the remake to this fic. To be honest, I'm like halfway done with it, but I have a clear outline on what I want to happen, HOW it'll happen, and I'm thinking posting will get me the motivation to finally give this story some closure.

I don't like leaving fics abandoned (don't look at how many I currently have sitting with no updates) so I've always silently vowed to finish them one way or another. In this case, rewriting it I think is the best way to do it. Hopefully some of you still want to read that story too.
