Wanda's POV:
I woke up this morning to a cold bed my girlfriend Brie wasn't there which is weird because she is never up before me and is NOT a morning person and she likes to stay in bed as long as possible. But we do have a meeting today so maybe she just got up earlier to be ready or maybe Morgan woke her up early she sometimes does that. so since the bed was cold especially because it's basically winter well it's October but close enough plus it's raining today. so I got up had a nice warm shower to warm myself up and put on one of Brie's hoodies and a pair of leggings.
Then I went downstairs to get some breakfast but before I got to the kitchen I looked in the living room for Brie.
"Looking for something Wanda?" Nat asks me when she sees me looking all around the room.
"Yeah, Nat have you seen Brie?"
"No doesn't she usually sleep in like every day plus it's Saturday she usually sleeps till like two o'clock on Saturdays," she said and we both chuckle.
"Yeah but she wasn't in bed when I woke up this morning and she's, not in the bathroom"
"oh well I'm sure she'll turn up she's probably just wondering about the compound or something if I see her ill tell her you're looking for her"
"Thanks, Nat"
"No problem Wands" Then I went into the kitchen and surprise surprise Brie wasn't there either so I just made some toast for myself. After I was finished I thought I would check and see if Brie is with Morgan so I went up to her room and knocked on the door.
"come in," Morgan said from the other side of the door so I did.
"Hey Morgan," I said as I looked around her room to see no Brie.
"hi, Wanda what are you looking for?" she says as she sees me looking around.
"I was just looking for Brie have you seen her today"
"No, it's Saturday and it's only twelve o'clock why haven't you seen her?"
"No she's disappeared oh well I'm sure she'll turn up can you tell her I'm looking for her if you see her?"
"yeah sure"
"Thanks, sweetheart see you later"
"Bye Wanda," she said and then I left and headed back down to the living room. When I got there Nat was still sitting on the sofa reading a book so I went and sat next to her and let out a sigh.
"still not found her?"
"Nope," I said fed up
"Don't worry Wanda she'll turn up sure we have a meeting at three so she'll have to"
"Yeah I guess so," I said still sad
"come on get up"
"what why"
"because your not gonna mope around like a sad puppy plus I need a training partner"
"ugh fine" then we when down to the training room and trained for a few hours.
*A few hours later*
Natasha had just pinned me down for like the fiftieth time and I was exhausted.
"Nat this isn't fair why can't I use my powers"
"How is it fair if you get to use powers and I don't"
"That's different hand to hand combat is your speciality and you're used to doing it but I'm used to using my powers so when we're doing no powers I get tired faster so it's not fair"
"you know what I think"
"What?"
"I think you're just not training your hand-to-hand combat enough and you're making up excuses to cover it"
"That's not true"
"don't even bother Wanda your a terrible liar"
"fine but can we just stop training for today?"
"Yeah we need to get ready for the meeting anyway"
"Okay thanks, Nat see ya later"
"see ya and don't think you've got away with not training your hand-to-hand combat, Wanda we'll talk about that later," she said as I was leaving.
so I went back to my room and had another shower because I was sweaty duh then I got ready for the meeting and headed down.
"nice of you to join us, Wanda," Tony says as I walk into the conference room
"come on Stark she's only five minutes late," Nat says in my defence
"Whatever hey where's Brielle," Tony asks
"yeah have you still not found her"
"no Nat I still haven't found her I was hoping she would be here," I said starting to get frustrated which Nat saw
"It's okay Wanda I'm sure she'll be here any minute sure you know her always late," she said trying to lighten the mood which caused me to smile slightly
"There's that smile I love now come and sit next to me till Brie gets here"
"Okay," I said and then Tony started the meeting droning on about something stupid I wasn't really listening to.
*Two hours later*
So the meeting has finished and still no sign of Brie and I'm actually really worried at this point.
"Nat?" and she hummed in response
"what if something happened to her?"
"no Wanda get those thoughts out of your mind right now"
"I know Nat but no one has seen here all day an-"
"yes but she never left the compound otherwise F.R.I.D.A.Y would've known so she's here somewhere it is a big building you could probably go weeks without bumping into someone especially since we kinda just stay on two floors come on let's get the boys and we can all look for her," Nat said trying to cheer me up
"Okay," I say not convinced then we went into the living room where the boys were all talking
"right boys!" Natasha said getting the boys' attention and they all nearly jumped out of their seat's which would normally be hilarious but I'm not really in the mood today
"We have a mission"
"I don't remember fury saying anything about a mission," Tony says confused
"He didn't Brie has been missing all day but according to F.R.I.D.A.Y nobody has entered or exited the compound today either so she's here somewhere and we need to find her"
"aww but lady Natasha me Morgan and Peter were just about to go and play in the rain Morgan was just telling me about jumping in puddles"
"Thor your sister is missing you can play with Morgan and peter later"
"Gabriella is the goddess of power I'm sure she's fine"
"Thor," Natasha says in a warning tone which causes Thor to quickly get up and say
"right come on you heard the lady lets go"
Natasha's POV:
Then after thor went out the door in a hurry everyone else started to get up "come on hurry up we haven't got all day!" I shout which gets them to speed up a bit and as I'm about to leave myself I feel someone tug at my arm
"is Brie okay aunty Nat," Morgan says and I know she's worried because she only ever calls me aunty nat when she's sad or really worried. "of course, she is honey don't worry she's probably just having a nap somewhere come on you can help me look for her," I say as I pick up the small child
"Okay," she says sounding a little happier.
It's been like half an hour and Morgan has actually been quite helpful well we haven't found Brie yet but Morgan has been taking me to all of Bries's favourite places.
"come on Morgan think what other places does she like to go"
"umm......."
"wait! it's raining today right?"
"uhh yeah why?" I ask confused
"then I know where she is," she said with the biggest smile on her face then she look off running
"wow wait Morgan wait for me" then she stopped
"oh sorry Nat come on"
"Okay okay I'm coming" I chuckle then I follow the running girl down the hallways until she stops at a door and does some kind of secret knock I'm guessing she and Brie came up with
"come in peach," Brie says using the name she always calls Morgan
"Brie!!" the little girl shouts and runs into Bries's arms to which Brie picks her up and they give each other a big hug
"Hey Nat," Brie says when she notices me
"you're in big trouble"
"what why?" she says confused
"well why do you think idiot you have been missing and Wanda has been on the verge of tears all day," I say then Bries's face drops
"shit"
"language," Morgan says her head resting on Brie's shoulder
"Sorry," Brie says, and Morgan giggles
"Wanda's gonna kill me"
"yep" I laugh
"Tasha don't laugh you best friend is gonna die and your laughing"
"yep"
"Ughhhhh I hate you"
"I love you too," I say turning and heading for the door
"Hey, where are you going?" Brie asks
"I'm gonna get Wanda before she has a panic attack or something"
"wait but she's gonna kill me when she finds me"
"Yeah but still she's worried sick so ill be back in a minute dead girl," I say and chuckle
Brie's POV:
"I can't believe my best friend is giggling at the thought of me dying"
"I thought I was your best friend Brie," Morgan says taking her head off my shoulder for a moment
"you are peach you my number one best friend Nats only number two"
"oh okay but why are you gonna die," she said with a sad face
" Oh don't worry peach I'm not really gonna die just Wanda's gonna be really mad at me cause I've been up here all day"
"oh okay" just then Nat came in followed by Wanda who looked like she had been crying so I put Morgan down and Wanda ran into my arms.
"Hey baby I'm sorry" I tried but she just stayed silent. Then after a few minutes, she pulled away and said.
"your mean"
"I know baby I'm really really sorry," I said but she just turned and left
"oooooh silent treatment you're in sooo much trouble" Nat commented
"oh shut up Tasha," I said and left to find Wanda. I found her in our room curled up in a ball on the bed.
"baby?.... I'm sorry I just lost track of the time you know me I was just sitting watching the rain and the day just flew by" I say but her only response was throwing a pillow and blanket at me.
"Okay I guess I'm sleeping on the couch tonight well I love you, night baby" then when I got no response I left and went to the living room.
*A few hours later*
Wanda's POV:
I can't sleep I've been tossing and turning for ages and I can't sleep I hate it but I need Brie. so I got up and headed to the living room to find Brie peacefully sleeping.
"bitch" I whisper under my breath then I climbed in beside Brie trying not to wake her up but she stirred.
"Baby?" she asks a smile tugging at her lips and I hum in response
"I couldn't sleep"
"I really am sorry Wanda," she says looking into my eyes
"I know just don't do it again," I say and she smiles
"Okay I won't baby," she says giving me a kiss on my forehead
"so you were worried about me huh"
"shut up dork," I say and she laughs
"I love you Maximoff"
"I love you too Odinson" then we both drifted off to the land of dreams.
