“Babe, come on, we’re gonna be late” Caitlyn groaned as Vi refused to wake up.
“But I’m tired Cupcake and this bed is so comfy”
“You know we can’t miss this we were late for the last meeting”
Vi groaned as she rolled over burying her face further into the pillow.
“Just 5 more minutes”
Vi reached out for Caitlyn's hand trying pull her back into bed starting to make grabby hands like a toddler.
“Fine 5 more minuets”
Caitlyn climbed into bed with Vi. Within seconds Vi had climbed on top of her laying her on chest like it was a pillow. Caitlyn laid there playing with her girlfriends hair. This was the most peaceful they’d been and a while, finally recovering from the war everything seemed to finally be settling down.
At this rate Caitlyn knew the probably wouldn’t make it the the council meeting on time, but another part of her didn’t really mind she was just happy to see Vi finally calming down and being able to sleep again.
“mmm that feels nice” Vi responded to her hair being played with.
“We really need to get up soon”
“I know, I’m just so comfy”
Vi slowing starts to wake up to Cait’s surprise. Caitlyn gets up to go and start getting ready.
“Warning I might fall asleep during the meeting”
“Don’t worry we can take a nap after”
Vi smiled standing up to wrap her arms round Caitlyn’s waist. She rests her head on her shoulder taking in the moment.
“I’m so lucky I met you, your my favourite person ever”
“ I love you”
