Fabulist!

"You have? Where from?" Ned urged excitedly.

But Peter was too focused on the face on the screen. The way the face smirked at the camera. The eyes glaring daggers. Every part of that face hit him. His mind told him he knew him. His gut told him he did. Even his Spidey sense told him he did. But a brick wall had been build to hide the memory of WHERE from.

"I don't know."

Otto Octavius was not exactly a common name. He can't be mistaking it for some one else.

"Look up the name." He told Ned.

Ned typed in the name into the search bar. Nothing. Only a 'did you mean' from google.

"Nothing." Ned commented and turned back to look at him. "So where would you know him from?"

Peter leaned back and put his face in his arms. He really didn't know.

So, it must've been from family or maybe a friend if it wasn't stated on google. Or, potentially, a teacher. The only friends Peter had was Ned and.... maybe MJ? And if Ned didn't know then how would MJ? Okay, so not friend related. Family then, maybe. But the only family he'd ever had was Uncle Ben, Aunt May and his parents. May would certainly not know anything about a psycho in an octopus-robotic suit. What was it Stark called him? Dr Octopus. Uncle Ben would never have mentioned him, not exactly his thing. But what about his parents?

Despite them raising him until he was 6 Peter knew almost nothing about them. Just memories of them opening Christmas presents. His father sneaking him sweets and them both giggling as his mother cooked unaware. His mother cuddling him on the couch watching a funny kids' show.

His father had been a scientist while his mother was a science teacher. His father was often working on new projects and working with new people. Maybe that's how Peter knew this guy?

Peter sat up. "Maybe my parents knew him?" He asked unconvinced.

Ned thought for a moment. "Maybe. But from where?"

"His job. Perhaps they were partners for a project or something."

"We can't prove that. The internet doesn't know Otto Octavius, so if he is a scientist he hasn't achieved anything."

"Yeah." Peter agreed. "But it's the only explanation! I've never heard of this guy from anywhere else!"

Tony sat in his workshop, unaware of what time it was or how much had passed.

The Doc Octopus hadn't been very helpful.

Apart from threatening, insulting, punching and demanding lawyers. He'd revealed nothing but his name. Otto Octavius. He'd said it like it was an honour. But Tony had never heard a name like 'Octavius' before.

But that wasn't the only thing on Tony's mind, the Parker kid was his main confusion.

The kid was very strange. The kid comes to the tower with not even a scratch on his palm. There was a massive fight between Spider-Man and the psycho Octopus. Harry comes out looking like a model and Parker looks like he'd encountered a mob of wrestlers.

"Friday, play the footage of Parker entering the tower."

"Yes boss."

The video played in front of him and he focused on the kid. The kid entered the building deliberately slow with two friends, almost like he was-

"Limping." Tony thought aloud.

The video continued and showed the kid sitting down and, rather subtly, holding his arm against his chest. Like he didn't want anyone else to know about it.

Interesting, Stark thought to himself. Very interesting.

"Boss, there's a call from Happy, he says it's important."

"Put him through." Stark answered, annoyed at being interrupted.

"Sir" He stopped and continued, almost unwillingly. "Doc Ock has escaped."
