Married
There sat Enid and Wednesday hand in hand eating breakfast. They didn’t even stop holding hands even when they were sitting down.
“ Mother me and my new wife are going shopping”
M: “ Wife?!
E: “ Yup the ceremony’s in a week or so, you all are invited”
After breakfast
“Wednesday what are you looking for we have to go to town”
Wednesday was looking in her closet for her secret stash of money.
” We can go now I found all my money Lurch is driving us”
“ Yay come on” Enid said dragging Wednesday out of the house and into the car.
At the store
“ Mon chiot I love you but we are not going in there”
It was the most colorful place in town.
“ Pretty pretty Please Willa”
“ You’re going to be the death of me come on just go and pick out what you want”
Enid was practically like a kid in a candy store which ironically is where their going after this. She was picking out mostly yellow and pink clothes.
After Enid picked up half of the store they went to to the cashier.
C: “ This is a lot of clothing you sure you kids can pay for it”
W: “ Yes”
E: “ Willa aren’t you getting anything”
W: “ No I have clothes at home plus I don’t really like color.
C: “ Ok the total is $126 little lady”
As Wednesday pays the cashier she says “ You ever call me little lady again I’ll have your heart.
“ Are we going home now Willa”
“ No we are going to a candy shop so you can get what you like”
“ Woah really”
As soon as they got there Enid picked up a bunch of lollipops and sour candy. They paid and left the store.
“ Mon chiot go wait in the car with your stuff”
“ Why”
“ I have to go somewhere else”
“ Why can’t I come with you”
“ It’s a surprise”
“ Well ok”
Enid went back to the car and Wednesday went to the store for weddings.
“ Little girl can I help you”
“ Yes me and a friend are getting married soon”
“ Married aren’t you a little young”
“ No”
“ Well ok so how can I help you”
“ I need a pair of rings and a dress and suit”.
“ Do you know yours and your friends measurements”
“ Yes” Wednesday said handing the worker a paper with ring and clothes measurements.
The worker came back with rings and clothes for this kids “wedding”.
“Thank you how much will it be”
“$600”
Wednesday hands him the money and takes the stuff in a bag. She walks as quickly as she can to get back to Enid.
“ Lurch take us home”
