(Y/N) (A ripoff of Rapunzel)
Once upon a time, there lived a husband and wife who had been trying for a child for many years, but it had all been in vain. Finally, the woman became pregnant.
In the back of their house was a fairy's garden filled with all kinds of flowers and herbs. But nobody dared to enter it.
One day, however when the wife was standing at the window and looking down at the garden, she noticed a bed of wonderful rapunzel. She had a great craving for the lettuce, and yet she knew that she couldn't get any. So she began to waste away and looked wretched. Her husband eventually became horrified and asked what was ailing.
"If I don't get any rapunzel from the garden, I shall die." She said gripping her husbands hands the best she could.
Her husband loved her very much and thought, 'No matter what it cost I'll get her some rapunzel.' And he did exactly that.
The next day his wife ad once again asked him to go into the garden and get some more rapunzel. The husband once again said yes and went out into the garden that night too. But much to his surprise the fairy was standing there waiting on him.
"So you thought that you could get away with taking my rapunzel, huh?" She asked looking down on the male.
"I-I'm sorry miss, my wife is pregnant and she needs these or else she'll die." He pleaded.
"Fine, take all the rapunzel you want, but when the child is born I want it. Think of it as payment for letting you pick the rapunzel." The fairy said backing away and going into her cottage.
So the husband picked the rapunzel and made his way home. When he told his wife she was in despair, but she understood that her husband had made a deal and that they should stay true to their word. So when the baby was born they begged for her to be named Rapunzel, but the fairy said no to that as the name sounded too unfun to her and had little to no meaning. So she named her (Y/N) because of her beauty. (Y/N) lived in the cottage next to her parents until she was twelve then she was moved into a thick forest in a tower that had no doors or stairs so no one could steal the maiden.
One day when a prince was passing by, he heard her singing and became entranced by her voice, so much so that he tried to climb the tower, but couldn't. He sat there in despair for the longest time until he heard the fairy call out to the maiden,
"(Y/N), (Y/N) let down your hair!" And the maiden hooked her hair onto a hook and let her long (h/c) hair flow down.
The fairy climbed up the hair and into the tower, where she asked (Y/N) questions.
"Have you talked to anyone today?"
"No mother."
"Have you seen anyone today?"
"No mother."
And so forth and so on. The fairy soon left the tower leaving (Y/N) alone. That's when the prince came up with a plan. The next day he called out,
"(Y/N), (Y/N) let down your hair!" To which the young maiden did.
As he climbed up her hair she said, "Mother, you seem much heavier today."
When he reached to top and had hoisted himself into the tower, he brushed himself off and looked around. He then laid eyes on a beautiful (s/c) skin, (e/c) eyed female and she stumbled backwards.
"M-my lady, it's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance." He said bowing before walking towards the female.
"Please don't hurt me." She said tumbling over her bed and standing back up.
"Oh, I don't want to hurt you I wish to make you my wife." He said taking her hand in his to which she protested loudly and began punching him on his chest, it didn't seem to hurt him.
"Let go of me! I wish not to venture into the world!" She screamed out hitting him harder now.
"No, you are going with me. And you have no say in it, for I am to be king and you can't overrule a king." He said pulling the small females hands behind her back and tying them with the sheet and gagging her mouth.
"Now, you listen you're going to go with me, and marrying me. I shall rule over my kingdom with you by my side and you shall bear my children." He said hooking a sheet onto the hook and jumping out of the tower with (Y/N) in tow.
Oh how she dreaded the horse ride back to his kingdom, it was filled with her tears and his bickering about how she should be grateful. When they arrived at the castle he jumped down and helped her down, removed her gag and binds and pushed her into his fathers bedroom.
"Nikolas, who might this lady be?" The weak king asked looking at (Y/N) with curiosity.
"She is my soon-to-be wife, (Y/N)." Nikolas said pulling you closer to him and giving you a glare to smile.
"Son I wish not to intrude in your love life, but why don't you find a lady who's less maid material?" The king asked looking at his son with his eyes filled with concern.
"Because father, she knows what being alone feels like. And ever since mother died you've been alone, she might be able to take care of you when I'm gone." Nikolas said planting a kiss on her forehead, making her grimace.
"King, please tell your son that I'm not the one for him. I am nothing but a lowly villager that really needs to get back home to my mother." You said trying to pull away from Nikolas.
"Oh? What's wrong with your mother dearie?" The king asked looking at (Y/N) with even more concern.
"Oh, she's come down with this terrible illness. It's gotten so bad to where she can barely stand now." She said lying while slowly backing away towards the door.
"Son, please do let her go. As you can see she has to take care of her mother." The kings said looking at his son as his sons hand made it's way to the hilt of his sword and lifted it high into the air.
"You nor anyone else shall not stand in the way of my love for (Y/N)!" He declared while he brought his sword down on his fathers' head, while (Y/N) screamed in horror as she watched. She pushed open the door and ran down the hallway to the nearest guard, her face covered in blood.
"Mister, mister please! The prince has killed his father and I think that I'm next." She said tugging on the males pantleg.
"I think that you have the wrong prince, he loved his father dearly miss." Said one kind guard while he took her hand to lead her out.
"Now let me get you out of the castle you dirt!" Said another guard from behind her as he picked her up and tossed her out on the front steps of the castle.
A few minutes later a maid went in to check on the king, but instead found his lifeless head on the ground looking at her. She screamed loudly alerting the guards that something had happened. When they found Nikolas he was sitting in the garden with his bloody sword in his hand, seeming to be waiting on something or someone.
"Prince Nikolas, we have to arrest you. I'm very sorry but you can't do something like that and not expect something bad to happen." Said a poor maid that stood with a basket in her hand, she had always been kind to the prince and was more like a sister to him.
"No, I'm king now. You obey my rules, my father has died therefore I'm your king." Nikolas said looking at the female menacingly.
"Nikolas, it doesn't work that way you can't just kill your father and get the crown." She said stepping towards the male and placing the basket at his feet.
"Well, he killed my mother and his father and yet he still had the crown." Nikolas complained.
"Remember, your mother had given birth to a half demon? That was a rule that was broken by your mother, and also a rule that gave anyone who disobeyed it death." She said placing her hand in his and squeezing it lightly.
"But he killed his father and got the throne!" He yelled.
"Shh. Yes, he killed his father and got the throne, but his father also wished to kill him it was the only way for one to rule."
"No, he murdered his father in cold blood, he told me how he did it. He severed his head off, then he chopped off his hands and feet, then he took his legs apart and took all his bones out. He gave the meat and skin to the animals and buried the bones in the garden under the oak tree over there." He said pointing it towards the tree.
"THERE HE IS! SURROUND THEM!" Yelled a guard as the rest followed his command.
The prince killed the guards, and spared those who were hesitant to kill him. He of course got the crown and the kingdom, but something was missing. No someone was missing. It was his little (Y/N) who had ran away from him the day he killed his father. He greatly wish he wouldn't have to marry a rich princess who didn't have a personality, or a commoner that was offered to him. So he began his hunt for the girl. And it wasn't successful for the longest time, three years to be exact. He found her with two children (twins) by a stream. He wondered where the children might've came from but thought back to a night where he did something, if you catch my drift. She had cut her hair and hadn't let to grow out to far. The girl had long dual colored hair like her brother with one side being (h/c) and the other being grey. The girl had the eyes of Nikolas and the son vice versa. They both skipped along side their mother as they went to the nearest market.
"(Y/N), (Y/N) let down your hair!" Nikolas called.
"Children, run back home and pack as much as you can to the wagon, I'll be there shortly." (Y/N) said shoving her children off the road.
"(Y/N) dear, how I've missed you." Nikolas said moving towards the now brave woman.
"What is it that you want Nikolas? Do you want me to go back with you and, 'rule by your side'?" She mocked as she gripped the knife behind her back.
"Yes, and I want our children to go with me too." Nikolas said trying to grab her hand before she side stepped and made him fall into the water. She wasted no time to take his horse and ride off to her house to collect her children and their few things.
Ever since that day Nikolas had tried to capture the female, but always fell short in his plan. He was getting irritated by this and issued a warrant for the trio.
(Y/N) had found out and changed her name to Rapunzel and moved back to her home village, there she moved in with the fairy and lived her life in peace for the most part. And once again, Nikolas had came searching for a wife and found (Y/N) and her children, and forced her into marriage.
