Summary
Each chapter will be individual stand alone stories (they will slightly be connected, but by much). These are all going to be based off of fun little text posts that I find on pinterest (they are pretty much my writing prompts)Anyhow Tony struggles with mentoring young, rambunctious, dark humored, Gen Z Peter Parker.
Note
This is just something new I am trying out. If there are any prompts you may have, or things you want me to write please please post in the comments. I love getting comments, and love getting new story ideas. Disclaimer, these are not characters, and the majority of the plot ideas will come from post on the internet. Very few of them will be completely original story ideas.

In which there is a puppy, and Midget still takes after his human

"Stay out here buddy," Midget's human blocked him from entering the lab. Midget sat down confused. He was normally allowed in the lab... he was pretty much allowed anywhere he wanted. His human had been going in and out of the lab all day, so had his son. Midget wanted to know what was going on. Maybe Sapphire knew. She always seemed to be more intuned with everything.

He found the bird perched on the back of a chair.

"Do you know what they are doing in the lab?" Midget mewed up to the bird.

"Something to with a puppy I think," The bird responded from her perch. A dog? They had brought a dog into his nice clean house?

Midget woke to Sapphire pecking his head sometime in the middle of the night.

"What?" Midget sat up with a hiss.

"Everyone is asleep, and I think the puppy is scared," Sapphire responded.

Midget flattened his ears. What could it possibly have to be afraid of? It was in the safest place in the world. No one could break into the compound.

"Can you help me get into the lab?" Sapphire asked. Midget twitched his tail with amusement. His favorite thing about the bird was how motherly she was.

"Fine," Midget hauled himself to his feet and headed to the lab. He stopped at the door and mewed. Nothing happened. That wasn't right. His human had set it up so he could get into the lab by mewing at the door. Why had he changed it?

"It already tried that," Sapphire stated helpfully. Midget flattened his ears. He was going to have to climb up into the ceiling panels. He got a running start and scaled the wall. He pushed the ceiling panel aside with his head, and climbed up. Sapphire flew in after him.

"I can't see anything," The bird cawed.

"Hop on my back."

The lab was filled with the stench of fear. Midget ruffled his fur. He hated that smell. It brought back memories of being under the collapsed building. He lashed his tail remembering his human being injured and scared. He hated it.

They found the puppy crouched in a corner.

"Stay back!" The pitbull puppy growled. Midget obeyed.

"You don't have to be afraid here," Sapphire chirped soothingly.

"But what if they comeback?" The puppy whined. Sapphire cocked her head.

"Who?"

"The bad people," The puppy tucked it's tail between his legs.

"My human?" Midget flattened his ears.

"No my old owners..." The whimpered, "The ones that hurt me..."

Midget wasn't a huge fan of dogs, but he hated the notion of someone hurting him or any other dog.

"What did they do to you?" Sapphire demanded. The puppy just pulled its ears back and whined miserably. The humans must have hurt him bad. Midget let out a hiss. The puppy began letting out low mournful cries.

"It's okay, I won't let them get you, nor will my human," Midget purred and leaned against the puppy's side. Sapphire nestled up against the other side.

"You're safe now."

Tony had really wanted to let the puppy sleep in his bed, but Pepper had forbade it. Peter had been denied the right to sleep with the dog as well. He was little surprised that Midget hadn't made his normal morning appearance in the kitchen. Hopefully the cat wasn't jealous. Tony poured his coffee, and went to the lab.

"How we doing this morning Jax?" Tony said as he walked over to the puppy's bed. Instead of just finding a puppy, he found all three of the Avenger's animals curled up together sound asleep. Well that answered the question as to whether Sapphire and Midget would get along with the puppy.
