In Which it is all fun and games until someone loses an eye part 3
Cap's team fell back shortly after they noticed Tony left. Peter still had both flags protected, which ment their mission had failed.
"Tony, you better come back, they just retreated," Nat spoke over the comms. There was no reply, "Tony?"
"Nat what is it?" Peter pulled off his mask panic written on his face, "Is Mr. Stark okay."
Nat heald up a finger to shush him.
"Stark come in!" There was still no response. "Damn it!"
She kicked a wall. Peter jumped.
"They have him don't they?" Thor spoke angrily.
Nat pursed her lips and nodded.
Peter dropped the flags.
"What??? How?!" The kids voice cracked.
"This whole thing was probably just a ploy to get him alone. Rhodey probably figured Tony would take the risk of a one on one fight."
"Well he was right," Bucky scoffed. They were now at a much greater disadvantage.
"We have to go get him back!" Peter shouted.
"No!" Natasha, Bucky and Thor shouted all at once.
Natasha felt a little bad for being so harsh.
"Why not!" Peter pleaded.
"It's to big of a risk. We can't send someone in solo, and we can't risk sending in two people it would be to easy for them to get captured, and it would leave the flags to unprotected."
"But-"
"Look kid they wouldn't have captured him if they weren't going to use him as a bargaining chip. We will at least see what they want," Nat reasoned, "For now we need to move to camp two, because they know where we are right now."
A brite light switched on and blasted into Tony's eyes.
"Gosh guys! chill!" Tony tried to throw his hands up to block the light but found that they were duct taped down, "For real?"
"Yes for real. We can't tisk our leverage escaping," Steve's voice was cold.
"You are taking this way to seriously," Tony said squeezing his eyes shut tight. The light was really bright. To bright.
"Maybe you're the one not taking things seriously enough," Rhodey's voice sounded off to the left, "You thought I was just going to give you a flag! You fell right into our trap, Stark."
That hurt. Rhodey hadn't EVER called him Stark, but nonetheless, Tony was not the one who had succumbed to a trap.
"Alright, we'll turn the light off, but first we need you to do something for us," It was Clint who spoke this time.
"We need you to hack the building so we have access to everything."
This was perfect. Better then what Tony had first thought.
