In which Peter drinks a little to much red bull
Tony was about to align two very important wires in his new suit design when his phone rang.
"FRI, can you get that for me?" Tony asked not breaking his concentration on what he was doing.
"It's Peter."
"Cool patch him through."
"Heeey Mr. Stark!" Tony didn't like the way the kid had drawn out the "hey".
"Whatever you screwed up can it wait until tomorrow? I am a little busy."
"Sure... I just wanted to ask your opinion on something." The kid sounded tipsy.
"Peter? Did you get drunk?" Tony wasn't sure what he was going to do if the kid said yes.
"On alcohol, no."
"That implies that you are drunk on something."
"Well that brings me to what I was going to ask you about." The kid giggled on the other end of the phone.
"Oh geez, what kid?"
"Do you think drinking 36 cans of Red Bull would heighten my spider senses? Or just kill me?"
"Oh geez! kid don't do anything. I will be there in a second."
Tony rushed to Peter's room, and found him staring at a can of red bull. Other cans were tossed on the floor.
"Is that?" Tony asked upon entry to the room.
"Yes, this here is can number 36."
"Are you going to drink it?" Tony asked slowly.
"Don't know..." Peter said still not breaking eye contact with the unopened can, "My whole body is tingling and I don't think its in a good way."
Tony folded his arms. He knew what happened when someone drank 36 cups of coffee (it was no good.) Red bull had less caffeine so the kid would be fine if he drank this 36th can... or he would at least not be in any real danger. Caffeine was only lethal if you got over 15360 mgs of it. Right now Peter was only at about 4000 mgs.
"Mr. Stark... do you see that little glowing thing?" Peter pointed at the wall.
Tony shook his head.
"You know what Peter, I think you should not drink anymore of that stuff," Tony took the kids redbull can, "I also think that we should take you to go see Bruce, because you my son have had too much to drink."
"Did you just call me son?" Peter asked and fell over, "Oh look the floor is the wall now."
Tony was confused and also intrigued. One time Harley had drank a whole ton of monster, and he had been overly hyper and not in the least bit dizzy. Peter was handling the caffeine consumption much differently.
"Wow. The wall is comfortable."
"Alright kiddo," Tony laughed and scooped Peter up into his arms.
The kid waved his arms around in the air, "WEEEEEE!"
Tony just rolled his eyes, and carried the kid to the med bay. 35 cans of redbull was probably to much.
