In which Eddie Brock and his little symbiote guest star
Normal day. Peter had helped three old ladies, stopped five muggings, and apprehended a guy trying to steal a car. All in all it had been a good day. Peter was about to call it a night when the sight of a man clinging to a flagpole protruding from the side of a building caught his attention. That was a disaster waiting to happen.
"Um, sir? Are you okay? Do you need help down?" Peter asked perching next to him. He shook his head.
"Hate heights..." The man said very distressed. Peter was about to offer help when the man started talking to himself, "I said NO Mcdonalds!"
Peter was startled by the man's outburst.
"When I say no I mean it! You don't just get to climb somewhere high and then ditch me like this! It's not fair!"
Peter was confused, and concerned. Who was this talking to?
"No! I said we need to start eating healthy! Let me down!-- WHAT?! No! That was like rule number ONE! We do not children!-- What? Just because he calls himself Spider-Man does NOT mean he is not a kid! Not to mention WE. DO. NOT. EAT. GOOD. PEOPLE!!!"
Peter was now a little scared. This guy had issues.
"Hey Karen, can you call Mr. Stark?" Peter whispered to his AI. Maybe an adult should deal with this.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!! NO WE ARE NOT GOING TO HAVE ONE BITE!!!!" The man shouted and his voice cracked a little.
"Sir, do you want help down?" Peter was getting very uncomfortable.
"Yes please," The man squeaked.
"Do you want to talk about why you are talking to yourself?" Peter was also curious.
The man shook his head. Peter shrugged, and attached a web securely to man.
"Alright sir, just let go and I will lower you down."
The man obeyed, and Peter lowered him to the ground.
"Thank you," The man started to say, "--No Not you asshole! You didn't do shit!"
The man turned an apologetic gaze to Peter.
"So sorry, and thank you!" The man turned and rushed away. Leaving Peter alone and very concerned.
