moving in together
Summary
how Shidou barged into saes house and said hey I live with u now and how sae has to accept itfem sae and shidou because the fanart of them as girls is toptier

Sae never expected herself to be living with Shidou Ryuusei. At first she had found the tanned girl weird but useful for their U20 match.

Shidou had asked in the middle of the match if they could live together if she scored a goal. Sae just nodded as there was no way Shidou was actually being serious and it was just probably the adrenaline she felt during the match.

But after the U20 match, Shidou had snagged Sae’s number as Sae had also promised her that too if she scored a goal. (She really needs to stop making those stupid promises)

Sae thought that since they confiscated phones at Blue lock where Shidou still had to go back to, she wouldn’t be receiving any messages from her.

But, if you scored enough goals, you’re able to get your phone back for your ‘goal points’ or whatever it was called.

Shidou had sent Sae 40+ messages, 7 missed video calls and 10 voice calls, when she woke up in the morning after the U20 match. Sae contemplated on blocking her number but decided that was a hassle.

Sae scrolled through all of Shidou’s messages, talking about what she had thought about the match, lots of compliments to Sae and her performance (Her face heated a little seeing that but she is taking that to her grave) and overall random things that seem to come up on Shidou’s mind when she was messaging her.

She only replied to Shidou’s last message, which was ‘GOODNIGHT!!!!!!" with a ‘morning.’ And switched off her phone, getting up to get ready for her daily jog. Sae thought that there was no way Shidou would keep messaging her after she only replied to one message.

_______________

The messages didn’t stop there. Shidou just kept on messaging her despite all the dry replies Sae gives back. Sometimes Sae doesn’t even reply at all, but Shidou always brushes it off.

Sae thinks it’s sort of nice, having someone who doesn’t have any expectations and still talks to you. She can admit that it’s a dick move to ghost Shidou sometimes, but Shidou just doesn’t seem to care at all.

So the routine of talking to each other kept going on and on. Sae started opening up more and responded with longer sentences, even talking more about herself and what was going on with her life. Sae even looks forward to the daily messages in the morning and gets sort of glum when Shidou doesn’t message her on some days, but Shidou can’t have her phone all the time, so that’s fair.

They were friends, sure Sae could admit that. But not close enough to move in with each other.

  _____________

After Blue lock had ended though, Sae heard a knock on her door. Which was strange. Sae rarely had any visitors, and she never ordered anything recently. Maybe it was one of those ladies who try to convert you into some sort of religion.

She got off her couch and walked to the door to peek through the peephole to see who it was.

And oh, did Sae get a scare. It was Shidou fucking Ryuusei with her luggage outside.

She unlocked the door and opened it immediately. Shidou looked up and grinned, seeing Sae’s shocked face.

“Surprise! I’m moving in with you,” Shidou said, brushing past Sae, who was still frozen in shock, dragging her luggage with her.

It took a couple of seconds for Sae to finally finish processing what the fuck had just happened, and she immediately rushed to Shidou.

“What the fuck? Why are you here and what do you mean you’re moving in with me?” Sae said, with both confusion and anger in her tone. Shidou just smiled and took out her phone, scrolling over something and then pushed her phone towards Sae.

Sae squinted at Shidou’s screen and saw it was an old conversation both of them had together.

“You didn’t tell me that you actually took my answer seriously,” Sae said after she had finished reading. Shidou then put her phone back into her pocket and looked up at Sae.

“But you gave me your number, which was also another promise! So by right, you should fulfill your other promises too!” Shidou said, looking a little too cheery for Sae’s liking.

Sae stared at the sunny Shidou for a few seconds before turning her back towards her.

“Do what you want, just don’t disturb me much.” Sae said, walking towards her room.

“Whatever you say,” Shidou responded back. Sae couldn’t see her face, but she could tell Shidou was probably grinning like a madman.

Sae didn’t care anymore, sure she could’ve just told Shidou to go back to where she came from, but promises were meant to be fulfilled.

And no, it’s not cause Sae likes the idea of Shidou living together with her.

_______________

The morning after Shidou had officially (?) moved in, Sae woke up to the smell of eggs. She noticed that someone had turned her alarm off. Shidou must’ve done that.

Sae got up begrudgingly after a minute, standing up to walk towards the smell. The sight of Shidou, wearing an apron with her hair neatly tied in a ponytail, humming some tune of a song as she cooked, blinded her. Shidou didn’t notice Sae coming in though, so Sae had a few seconds to take the sight in.

It was only after Shidou turned around to take something off the counter did she notice Sae standing there. She jumped a little before smiling up at Sae.

“Good morning Sae! I’m making some eggs for the both of us!” Shidou said, as she grabbed the plates off the counter.

Sae helped Shidou set the table and sat down patiently, waiting for Shidou to sit down too.

“Why’d you turn off my alarm?” Sae asked once Shidou sat down.

“Waking up 4 in the morning every day isn’t good, besides you can have your stupid morning jog at a later time!” Shidou replied, before digging in.

Sae stared at Shidou for a few seconds before stabbing her fork into an egg. Sae guesses she agrees with Shidou’s statement.

Besides, if Shidou making breakfast in the morning is the sight Sae will wake up to everyday, she supposes she doesn’t mind.
