In the end, because he was Human, there was the trouble of a trial. He was guilty; he admitted it. Four somber Centauri stared at him as he recounted the story of how and why he had come to Narn. They remained impassive as he told how G'Kar had once fought at his side, and his voice never faltered when he named the laws he had violated in the name of simple humanity. The verdict came back immediately. A firing squad, he was told, was a mercy. He refused the blindfold. He had been Arthur, and he was not afraid.
