Chapter 9
Peter was in the car going to school, alone. Again. This was the second week
When he got there he met up with MJ and ned. They talked and he stayed silent.
He wished Emilie were here.
He went to his first class and stayed silent.
The day went on like this until the end.
Flash came up to peter and hit the back of his head.
“So where is little tamales penis?”
They walked to the car still and flash didn't say anything.
Happy grunted at them to get in and flash nodded.
Happy gave peter a phone.
“Boss was calling you. Here's a message.”
“Hey pete… Emilie will be back tomorrow. Do you want to do something for her maybe? Pepper is making me ask this.”
Peter sighed. Great. He wouldn't get to see her until tomorrow. But he did want to do something with her. Then he got an idea.
Tony had said that they were going to have underwater training.
That meant that there would be a pool somewhere in the tower.
Peter asked on the group chat if ned and mj were free on Saturday. This was great.
They were in the city when something hit the car
Peter and happy got out of the car.
It was some sort of droid.
It had its gun pointed to the car.
Peter pulled flash out of the car.
He and happy ran towards a building and peter ran into an alley.
He got the suit on and swung over to the tower. By the time he got there though, everyone was outside waiting and in battle ready stance.
They walked into the streets and saw none other than furys black car pull up.
But instead of the bald man, out stepped a girl with a purple and navy blue outfit on.
It was emilie.
She and wanda flew up.
The droides came in from all sides.
This was going to be a hell of a fight.

Emilie had not only been put on a treadmill that went 90 miles, a powered fan to test her strength of flying and be electrocuted but she was locked up in the hulks cell.
Maria hill visited her everyday after she was put back in her cell.
She would talk to her for hours and hours about HYDRA and her time on asgard.
Maria had endless patience for her stories.
She felt like an aunt to her.
Emilie was told she would return to the tower the next day and she was happy.
She missed everyone.
They put her back in the cell and maria snuck her a book for her to read.
She left so emilie could read in peace.
She was helping fury with a task when they got alert of some sort of robot droids attack.
They put all cells on lockdown.
All but emilies.
They grabbed her and gave her a uniform to use.
It looks like natashas but smaller.
She put it on and the front was to big.
They handed her something to put on top. She did as told.
Then she walked out to the battlefield to see the rest of the avengers and loki.
Wanda was in the sky so she flew up to her. Wanda nodded and the battle began.
Peter and pietro were making sure that all civilians were out of the way
Tony and steve on the right fighting there way to the center
Natasha and clint on the left running across buildings shooting from high grounds
Hulk in the front fighting off as many as he saw
Thor, wanda and emilie in the center.
and falcon just flying around the perimiter shooting of stragelers.
Everybody was fighting until all of a sudden, all the droides fell limp.
Everyone stopped what they were doing.
They walked towards a droid and froze,
On the droid was the HYDRA symbol.
As if on cue, black suited assassins dropped out of the sky.
Only this time instead of three assassins, there were 100
Emilie flew up, so did wanda.
Bucky grabbed his gun and started shooting.
The assassins did the same.
They shot at emilie, and she deflected every shot with her magic.
She dropped to the ground and the assassins around here all fell to the ground.
They thought that they won until 2 of the black figures shot at emilie. She fell to the ground. They ran towards her and wanda lifted her in the air using magic.
They shot at wanda but thor swung his hammer at them and the 2 fell to the ground.
They got emilie to the tower and into the medbay quicker than they thought possible.
Once everybody made it back they had a lot of questions
“Okay so how the actual fu-heck is emilie still alive? Wouldn't that amount of bullets kill her instantly?”
Wanda and pietro shook their heads.
“So how is she still alive?”
Pietro looked puzzled and wanda sighed.
Then wanda started
“The shards keep there protectors safe from dying. They can only die when they have done… the pledge of death.”
Everyone looked confused.
“The pledge of death is when the shard keeper gives up the shards so they can die. once free the shards are pulled to either another shard keeper, the stone or an item to keep them safe.”
Everyone stayed quiet.
“Every shard keeper has a different pledge of death. For emilie it's a song. I don't know how it goes but for her she is never aloud to finish the lyrics.”
Everyone nodded.
Then a thought struck steve.
“But then how did violet lose her shards, and why can she still come out?”
Wanda thought for a moment then she started
“Violet… she was forced to take the pledge. No one knows except her and the rest of the shard keepers know how she took it. She is still in control over the stone because she had a strong connection with the mind stone before. So she can take over any body her shards come in contact with.”
Steve felt confused but nodded.
Meanwhile peter was waiting for news on emilie when tony came in.
“Hey kiddo, i take it you got my message?”
Peter nodded.
“Okay so, what do you want to do?”
Tony went over and sat beside peter. Peter thought for a moment.
“Maybe… if it's okay we could have a pool party?”
Tony was stunned but smiled. He remembered telling peter that they had a pool here but they had never actually used it.
“Sounds like fun but don't tell thor or he will get everyone to do it with you.”
From the room over they heard thor laugh. Tony and peter laughed along.
After 45 minutes Dr. cho finally came out and said that emilie was stable and ready for visitors. Peter went in first and the two talked like they hadn't seen each other in years. Peter showed her get well wishes from all the cheerleaders and mj. Ned and mj would come in later on though so peter didnt show her the ones they sent.
Peter told her about the pool party idea and she tensed. She said she didn't have a swimsuit and as she did tony came in. tony laughed and said that they should go on a shopping spree.
Emilie nodded and peter left the room.
Tony talked to emilie for a bit and talked about a suit for her.
She was flabbergasted. After everything she had done they were going to give her a suit.
Tony knew that she was excited. She was just like peter when he found out that he could get to keep his suit. He would never forget his face.
Emilie told him about the suit that she use to wear at HYDRA and how uncomfortable. Tony made a mental note that the suit has to have a cooling system.
Tony made sure that every request she made towards the suit would be included.
The two talked for awhile about suits, HYDRA and eventually, peter.
As the two rambled on how amazing peter was bruce came in.
“I see that you two have been having a good gossip period on the spider.”
Tony smiled and emilie chuckled.
Bruce shooed tony out of the room and bruce looked at the wounds.
“Well emilie, your body seems to have healed itself with the help of the surgery. Your free to go but don't pull any stunts like backflips until it's fully healed.”
Emilie nodded and left the room. She headed into the elevator.
“Hello emilie, what floor?”
“Um… where is everyone?”
“Mr. parker, Captain Rogers, Mr. wilson, Sergeant Barnes and boss are on the communal floor playing mario kart. Shall i alarm them of this question or do you want to go there?”
“Just bring me to that floor please.”
“Alright then.”
The elevator started to go up and eventually the doors opened and out stepped emilie.
Like friday had told her, the men were playing a game of mario kart. It was intense with sam yelling sarcastic remarks at bucky’s slow kart. Peter was in the lead and tony was not far behind in 3rd place. Sam in 5th and bucky in 11th.
Then suddenly a loud thud was heard from the floor above them. Nobody but emilie reacted. She asked who it was and nobody responded. So she ran out to a balcony and flew up towards the roof. On the roof was a blue and white ship with orange accents on it.
As soon as it was fully on the ground the rest of the avengers stepped onto the roof. They didn't look scared at all but emilie was terrified.
The doors of the ship opened and out stepped a blonde man in a red leather jacket, a green women with brown and red hair, a pale women with big eyes and antenna, a greyish purple muscular man with red markings all over his body, a weird raccoon and some sort of tree alien playing on a gameboy.
“Who the hell are you guys?”
She asked and they just looked confused. Then all there faces morphed into battle ready looks and they charged towards her. She ran and hit them with ability of her magic. The greyish purple man started screaming at her and he held knives in his hands. The tree alien ran up behind her and grew his branches behind her.
The green girl came up to her and held a sword to her throat. Her eyes grew wide and she felt like crying. She was terrified.
Apparently none of the avengers were looking till now because they started yell that she wasn't dangerous. The green women held the sword even closer now and emilie felt her eyes go wet.
“Gamora! She is not dangerous! Put that sword down. Your scaring her!”
Gamora looked at her and she let the sword fall to the ground. The tree alien put her on the ground.
“Emilie, these are the guardians, guys this is emilie. Sorry about that.”
Tony said to the guardians, they gave her a death stare. She felt the tears in her eyes aklmosty fall.
Peter then ran up to the blond man and hugged him.
The two hugged and peter hugged the rest of them, well except the tree alien and the racoon. Emilie was ushered back in by cap. As the elevator doors closed the group gave her one more death glare and the doors closed.
She had no idea when it had happened but she felt tears falling down her face. She retreated into her room and cried.

The guardians had no idea what was happening when the girl had asked them who they were but they had never seen her before. When she shot them a death glare though they attacked.
Once gamora had the sword to her throat though she looked terrified. She looked as if she may cry. Gamora didn't like the sight, none of the guardians did. Well except rocket.
Once they let her down they didn't realize that they gave her a death stare but they saw as she went to the elevator that she had started to cry.
Once she was gone they started asking questions.
“Who the hell was that and why does she had purple magic?” drax asked.
“Her name is emilie and, well you may want to ask her yourself.” tony replied.
The guardians and the rest of the avengers up on the roof headed towards the elevator and they headed for the maximoffs floor.
(Author here… okay emilie shares a floor with the twins and peter is also on that floor, u know just to clarify... ur welcome)
Once they got there the guardians headed towards a couch but peter beckoned them to come with him. Gamora and Quill got up but the rest of them stayed put.
Peter led the two to a door and knocked on it. They heard soft crying on the other side.
Then peter knocked again
“Who is it?”
A soft voice came from the other side.
Peter knocked a weird pattern of knocks and they heard footsteps. In seconds the door opened a bit. Peter opened the door and talked to emilie for a bit. The guardians were beckoned inside and they saw the young girl.
She had tear stains on her cheeks and she overall looked petrified.
The two waved at her and she just looked at them. Her gaze fell on gamora and she winced. Then peter left the room and told them to talk to her.
They walked towards her and she flinched.
"uh… hi there, emilie.”
She said nothing.
“Um.. my name is peter quill and this is gamora.”
She still said nothing but she looked up at him. Then her gaze fell back on gamora.
“We are sorry about that, we don't really like new people all that much.”
Gamora didn't do it on purpose but she gave another death stare to emilie. When emilie saw this her eyes began to glow purple.
“Woah what the fu-”
She sent them flying back with a burst of purple energy. When they got up she looked horrified.
“Oh my god! I-im so sorry! I didn't mean to i swear..”
They got up and gamora pulled out her sword. The young girl backed away and started crying again. Gamora realized her mistake and quickly retracted her sword. She ran towards emilie, so did peter.
They tried to calm her down. Eventually her tears subsided and she was just hiccuping now. Peter Q brought her head up and the two made eye contact. And as they did peter looked in amazement.
Gamora shoved peter aside to look but emilie moved away from her view.
“Hey, lemme see.”
She moved towards emilie angrily. She had no idea who this girl was but she didn't like her. She knew nothing about her.
Emilie watched in fear and peter tried to calm her down again. Gamora was having none of it.
“Emilie, what is with your eyes?”
Gamora said and emilie looked at her. Gamora moved to her and she looked into her eyes.
She was petrified. She was a shard keeper. In her eyes were 3 shards of the powers stone and one shard of the reality stone.
Emilies eyes stopped glowing and gamora walked towards her and placed her hand on her shoulder. Emilie flinched.
Peter started talking but emilie just looked at gamora the entire time.
“Okay, you know what you two should talk. You guys have a lot in common.”
Peter left the room and it left the two of them.
“So um… what's your story?”
Gamora looked at the girl and sighed.
“When i was little my mother got killed because i was scared, i was taken by a purple titan and he trained me to be an assassin. Then i met quill and i have been a guardian of the galaxy ever since. How about you?”
Emilie looked at her astonished. She had never thought she could relate to anyone as much as she could to gamora now.
“Well i got started and ended up killing my parents by accident, i was scared. I was taken to asgard and i met loki. But then i was taken by HYDRA and was trained to be an assassin as well. Then the avengers saved me and now i live here.”
Gamora was surprised. She was just like emilie. She smiled.
“Guess we have more in common than we think huh.”
Emilie and gamora talked for another 45 minutes about being an assassin and how bad they felt about it. They talked about their stories and eventually what just happened.
They started apologizing and then the rest of the guardians came in.
“Alright tell me who the little brat is please.”
Rocket was going to continue but gamora gave him a death glare.
“I am groot?”
They all nodded and emilie looked confused.
“Alright emilie, we are the guardians of the galaxy. Im peter as you know. You now know gamora. This is drax and he doesn't do metaphors. Rocket and you never pet him. Groot and well, he is groot. And this is mantis, she can read your emotions and change them so never under any circumstances tell her the 'in fine' lie.”
Emilie nodded and waved at mantis. mantis happily waved back.
Then tony walked in
“Alright guys. Its dinner, come down to the kitchen when your ready. Also emilie.”
He pointed to her eyes and she nodded. The group got confused but shrugged it off. They started talking and eventually it escalated to groot and emilie playing wii.
Suddenly FRIDAYs voice echoed through the room
“Emilie, you were asked to take the guardians down to dinner 17 minutes ago. Captain rogers would like to speak with you about this but boss requests you come down now.”
Drax looked up at the ceiling and looked scared
“Where the hell is this invisible lady!”
Emilie chuckled and lead them to the elevator.
They got into the elevator and headed down to the communal floor.
When they got there emilie blushed and the team ushered her to the piano.
The guardians had no idea what was going on but they sat down.
“Emilie has something to do really quick, do you have any song requests?”
They all looked at peter quill. He put his hands in the air in a surrender pose.
They laughed
“Um what do you know?”
Emilie blushed again.
Peter smiled.
“How about um… what is the one you like mantis? Total eclipse of a heart i think.”
Emilie blushed and she started to play.

All the guardians were stunned into silence. They continued to listen.

Mantis had tears in her eyes and rocket smiled.

She finished and the guardians started clapping. Mantis came and hugged her and the avengers looked pleased. Emilie was beet red.
“You sound like an angel had a baby with another angel and the baby angel had a baby with quills music and that baby was you.”
Everyone turned to drax and smiled. Emilie was confused.
“It was a compliment.” gamora explained to emilie. They sat at the table and ate dinner. They talked and then had a movie night. Emilie was snuggled up against cap and bucky like always and the guardians saw.
They watched as the movie ended emilie be carried off to her room in the blonde super soldiers arms. Then they headed onto there floor that they stayed in whenever they were over.
They fell asleep soon and they thought about how different their day had been. But they wouldn't change it for the world.
