Wolfstar and why they didn’t end up together in the First War
Sirius loves Remus. He does. With all his heart, he does. He loves him differently from how he loves the others, though. Remus was special like that. He thought Remus loved him too, like that.
Perhaps that's why it hurt so much, thinking Remus could be the traitor.
Didn’t they love him (didn't Sirius love him)? Were they not enough (was he not enough)? Were they not family (did Sirius really mean nothing to him)?
But Remus has been keeping secrets. He’s been pulling away. He dodges questions when Sirius asks. He’s always away.
What else could it mean? (He didn't want it to mean like that)
All Sirius had at the end of the day was James, Lily, Peter, and little Harry—and himself.
Author’s Note: I wanted to add ‘That was just gonna have to be enough for him’ at the end but I suppose this is enough ☹️
