Summary
The world was always boring and colorless that was until when the two girls who were the same inside and out came into each others life showing that the world may not be so boring after all.

They say opposites attract but I'm not sure I believe that. Whether it would be a cold as ice person and a joyful happy go lucky person but for me the one I love the most in the world is just like me.

I dyed the ends of my hair pink to my boring black hair. I put blue eye contacts on to cover my boring brown eyes. I put on my uniform and put a cute flower hairpin on to my sorta wavy hair. I always imagined that one day I would get saved by a dashing prince who was the complete opposite of me. Cool, handsome, stunning, strong, and noticeable. Maybe he would have blonde hair as bright as the sun and stunning blue eyes or maybe a mysterious black haired handsome prince. I wanted someone who stood out unlike me. Someone who was really truly outgoing and kind and honest. Someone the complete opposite of me.

I had friends but I wouldn't say I was popular. I was a boring person to be honest. Boring looks, boring personality and even a boring name. Nana. I was tired of being boring and so I dyed my hair, put in colorful eye contacts and tried becoming more social.

I was a boring and uninteresting person. Empty even. That's why when I decided if I was going to be with someone it would someone opposite of me and that's why I thought maybe I could fall in love with Elliot. He was good looking, he also stood out a lot and many people liked him. He seemed patient and kind and would help anyone in need so that's why I decided to be in love with him. I would pursue him.

I sat down once again everyday the same. That girl was in front of me. She seemed boring. She was always alone and yet the one that sat next to her was Elliot. I didn't really know her name maybe that was boring too. I really do hate boring stuff don't I. Elliot had blonde hair just like how I would imagine my dashing prince. He even had blue eyes and a muscular build so how could such a boring person sit next to him.

I listened to the teachers lecture. I was spacing out until I saw my name next to another persons name. Sana. It was for a group project and I was paired with Sana. Who was that. I wondered until the girl in front of me stood up and came to my desk. "Um we're supposed to be partners..." I looked up at her. Her straight bangs were covering her eyes as she looked down at me. I was a bit surprised she did approach me. All I did was nod. She stood there for a few more seconds before nodding and sitting back in her seat. She was a bit weird.

A few friends of mine came up to me to talk about who they were paired up with. They talked and talked and talked... It was boring. Again and again. Boring.

I wanted to leave as fast as I could. As I look out the window once again the world was a colorless shade of gray. The leaves, the sky, the flowers... All gray.

As the bell rang in my ears everyone stood up and left with the partner they were assigned. I also stood up and so did the girl sitting in front of me. I approached her as I tapped her shoulder to grab her attention she jumped back a little bit. She apologized and as we both walked out the class together it was silent. I didn't know where we were going but I was just following her blindly.

It seemed we were going into the library. It was silent that even the breeze from the open window was loud. As I followed her to the back of the library she sat down in the chair farthest from the front. I pulled out a chair from the table and sat next to her.

She just sat there nervously. The sun shining through the window illuminated the room. The few people in the library were so quiet. What was I doing here. Should I have not followed her.

The girl spoke up. "What should the project be about?" She said in a quiet voice. I thought about it what were we even supposed to do. I shook my head. "I don't know." It went silent again. She spoke up again. "Then should we..." She gave ideas for our project. I simply agreed. As we worked on it together and as we spoke I thought maybe she wasn't as boring as I thought.

The bell rang for whoever was still in the building. As we left through the front entrance we both walked together. Her bangs still covering her eyes and her bag on her shoulder a breeze came through. As I saw how the wind revealing her vibrant Violet like eyes I saw color all around her. Those vibrant colors I thought I'd never see, it was all there. The pink cherry blossom leaves riding with the wind. The flowers that were once so gray. The sparkle in the girls eye was more vibrant than anything else. Her hair being swept in the wind I realized how the sun shined on her soft black hair creating a somehow soft and yet beautiful color.

The moment as the breeze died down so did the colors I saw. Those beautiful colors. Maybe it was just for this once but this one time the world wasn't a gray shade. The girl fixed her hair once again covering her eyes.

The color I wanted to see most was the color of her eyes. Such a beautiful shade of purple should be illegal. It was like a violet or an amethyst. The sparkle in her eyes and the sun shining down on her as if she was the main character of some fairy tale was something I wanted to see again.
