Castaways, We Are Castaways
Summary
It was all wrong. The League of Villains head to an abandonded apartment building, their usual relaxation point after managing to break Kurogiri out of Tartarus. Unbeknownst to them, a small group of Pro Heroes has made one of the floors a research base. And not to mention, a group of students from the Class 1-A is trying to prove the building is haunted! But when a huge storm hits and a flood uproots Apartment Building 443, sending the whole place out to sea, heroes and villains must work together to get back to land - safely. However, being trapped makes for some nice drama. Secrets will be spilled, and love will blossom. For reference, the apartment building is 10 floors, with a lobby & rooftop (so is it 12 floors?) The League of Villains is on the 10th floor/adjacent rooftop. The Heroes are on the 5th floor, and the Class 1-A is occupying the apartment lobby and 1st floor.Based off of Drifting Home, except it's not magic, & there's no plant people. Sorry, Noppo.

The League of Villains Should Watch The News More

Shouta Aizawa | Eraserhead

3:00 PM

Shouta glances at the news report for what feels like the millionth fucking time. "What I don't understand is why? Why would the LoV break Kurogiri out in the middle of a damn typhoon?" Yamada glances at his husband for what he feels like is the millionth time. "For an underground pro hero, you're not all that smart." Shouta glances up, looking extra tired. "Then if you're smarter than me, how about you tell me why?" Yamada pauses. "I never said I was smarter than you, dear, but with the typhoon hitting and all, people - er, heroes -  are more focused on saving the public. This would be the one time breaking Kurogiri out would be easy." Midnight rests her head on her hands. "Then why are we here, instead of out there in the wind and rain, saving Oboro?"

Endeavor glances up, now completely pissed, slamming a fist against the table, he begins to yell. "Why are you CALLING it that? It is NOT Oboro! Your friend is fucking DEAD, Midnight! Kurogiri is a monster and there's nothing to it!" Midnight visibly flinched - this could be attributed to Endeavor's outburst or the clap of thunder outside as the rain started pouring down. "And why is it just the five of us?" Shouta glanced up, now confused. It was just Endeavor, Yamada, Midnight, and a currenlty asleep Rumi with him - their own hero agency - it didn't make sense as to why Endeavor was mentioning that now. They'd taken over the 5th floor of an abandoned apartment building as their little research area, so this was breaking and entering. Endeavor was only here because he'd followed them.

"Well, it was supposed to be only the four of us, but you followed us. We're including you only because you know what we're doing here." Yamada snapped. Endeavor scoffed, but kept quiet. "I doubt we can drive through the storm, so let's just stay overnight. I'd forgotten the hurricane was hitting today, so it doesn't give us much of a choice." Endeavor looked out to the balcony like he was about to challenge the storm itself, but then turned away. "We'll be fine. Typhoons hit Japan all the time! People are overreacting." Midnight said cheerily. "I brought snacks, so we can just chill out while we wait this storm out!" She clapped her hands together, then stood up to go retrieve the snacks from wherever she'd hidden them.

Izuku Midoriya | Deku

3:15 PM

"This is fucking stupid, dunce face! There aren't any ghosts at the Kyoko Complex! Just homeless people and junkies!" Izuku glanced behind him. Bakugo, Jirou, Momo, Hagakure, Ojiro, Tsuyu, Uraraka, Shoto, & Aoyama made up their ghost hunting team. Next to him, Denki was explaining vigorously to Monoma about how haunted the building was. "It's abandoned, too, so that's extra scary!" Jirou glanced behind her. "Dude, if you're complaning, go back then, we don't need such negativites on our team." Bakugo scoffed. "Fine!" Just then, a 3'6" pervert appeared. "Hello! I could totally go ghost hunting! Especially since there are ladies here..." Momo cringed. "Uhm... no? I do not want you here, you creep!" Most of the girls agreed. Mineta scoffed, winking at a disgusted Momo. "Well too bad! I know ALL the ghosts here, so yeah! I can talk to them and stuff! Most of them are hot ladies too!" Denki stared at Mineta. "Dude, you're like... weird and if you do anything bad we'll toss you off the rooftop." Mineta looked scared but nodded, though Izuku noticed he was still staring at Momo. What a creep.

Izuku watched Bakugo stalk off, too bad for him. After a few more minutes of struggling against the wind and rain - everyone was now soaked - until Apartment Building 443 loomed before them, looking every damn inch a murder house. Or... murder apartment? "Come on then, let's all head inside. All the ghosts are in the haunted building!" Denki pushed open the door with suspicious ease, and everyone exchanged glances. "It's just squatters. Maybe we should pick a different place to do hunting?" Hagakure started to move behind Momo. Izuku glanced around. "Let's stick to the lobby and the first floor." The others nodded their agreement as the winds picked up and a typhoon aleart beeped on everyone's phones. "Woah? What the fuck! The typhoon has winds of 165 MPH now! We shouldn't have come today!" Monoma sighed. "You Class 1-A brats are going to get me killed!" Izuku stepped between a now furious Denki and Monoma. "How about we shelter on the first floor? It did mention flash flooding so we shouldn't be directly in the lobby area. Sounds smart?" Denki sighed. "But if we could just prove this place has a ghost, we'll be famous!" Jirou was aleady heading upstairs. "Dude, we're gonna be the ghosts in this place if we don't listen to Izuku and get to the first floor. We'll be pretty safe there. Plus, I got snacks!" The rest of the group followed them eagerly, calling dibs on various snacks.

Izuku followed them upstairs. The apartment's layout was the lobby, and a set of stairs. The stairs led up to the first floor, where at the end of the hall there was a stairwell. After that, there were 9 more floors and a rooftop area. There were 6 rooms per floor, and all of them had 4 rooms (a foyer, living/dining/kitchen area, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom). Jirou picked the third room on the left and all of them crashed in the main room, opening bags of food and unrolling their futons. While Mineta tried to peek in the bathroom when the girls were getting changed, everyone sat around and talked. "Hey! My phone signal is gone! That's no good!" Denki fiddled with his electronic a bit more before giving. "I hope the others aren't too worried about us!" Uraraka said, looking out the window. "I just hope Bakugo made it back to UA safe. I don't want to be responsible for a death!" Denki said. "Woah, Denki, are you actually using your brain for once?" Monoma asked, cleary shocked. Everyone laughed, even Denki.

Kurogiri | Oboro Shirakumo

3:45 PM

"Shiggy, the storm is really picking up. Are you sure we can make it?" Toga whined, twirling a knife between his fingers. "We're here, come on." Shigaraki rasped, pushing open the door. "There's a theat of flash floods, we should stay on the 10th floor." Kurogiri - no, that's not your name. Oboro - followed the est of the League into Apartment Building 443. "The heroes will be tracking us for a while, so before we broke you out we got some stuff from the base so that we can stay here for a bit." Oboro nodded and followed the League silently up, up, up, the floors. In the third room on the right, Oboro was welcomed with an almost homely looking place. "You can, like look around." While Shigaraki loaded up a game on his Nintendo Switch and Dabi and Spinner played rock-paper-scissors, Oboro ws left standing in the foyer. There was a door to his left - the bathroom. The two other doors (which were next to the stove) must have been bedrooms. There were two black futons in the main room and a Teenage Mutant Turtles-patterns futon. Shigaraki was laying on one. In one of the rooms, a Tartarus employee was drawing with Eri and Toga. All the employee did was wave, so Oboro figued he was okay.

The other bedroom was where Twice, Magne, & Mr. Compress was staying. When Oboro exited the room, a yellow and blue futon had been laid out for him. Oboro figured he could use some rest, he hadn't had much in Tartarus. He flopped down on matress and found it easy to go to sleep now that he wasn't sitting upright in a chair. He drifted to sleep, soothed by Eri and Toga's giggling and Shigaraki's game and Dabi cursing because he'd fucking lost. He hadn't heard all that in a long time. And god, was he grateful.

Eri | Eri-chan

4:00 PM

Eri was bored. The typhoon wasn't as fun as she'd thought. John Doe, the guy she'd "kidnapped" from the Tartarus security post, was showing Toga pictures of his cat. It was weird he was a cat mutant, so why did he have a cat? Then she heard it. A sad, desperate howl. It could have been the wind. It could have been a fucking trap, Shigaraki would later tell her. But it sounded like a dog... "Doggy!" Eri whispered, standing up abruptly and rushing off. Neither Toga nor John Doe noticed her running off. Thankfully, nobody noticed her. The storm was quieter in the hallway, and she heard the howl again. It was coming from the stairwell. Hesitantly, she approached the dark shaft and noticed a big white dog around half her height approaching. "You're an.. Alabai!" Eri had read about them. It looked like a male, which meant it was around 31 inches tall. The dog padded up the stairs, his big jowls trembling and he licked her face. "Doggy! I'm going to name you.." Eri thought, and then with an exquisite display of creativity, "Dog!" Dog let out a wuff, as if accepting the simplistic name. "Guys! Look!"
