The Secret Room (Part 2)
AN - So I decided to give a little more visuals of the temple because I think I want to make it Thalia's temple (and like maybe she can use magic to relocate it to wherever she wants so like she can move it to New York once she's with her soulmates etc and disguise it as whatever she wants) but yeah so I'm thinking as far as like the dead bodies and stuff if you've ever seen Spartacus I'm thinking the scene from "Kill them All"
Just imagine there's no alive people other than my characters obviously and add in statues of Zeus, Aphrodite, Athena, and Artemis around the pool in the center and imagine them dressed in black like hydra (but there's no symbols so they can't know for sure)
Daisy's POV
I walked down the passageway with my flashlight held high. It twisted to the right at the end but not long after that we found ourselves standing in front of a large golden door.
"It's locked," Coulson said as he tried to open it.
"No it's not," I tugged on the door handle and it opened for me.
"Hmm...maybe it only opens for you," I heard Coulson mumble under his breath but I tried to ignore the possible implications of that.
"What are we looking at..." I heard Hunter say as we all stared around in awe at the site that met our eyes.
(That's kind of what I'm picturing, it's just hard to find any good images of Greek interior design stuff.)
"Who's the statue of the babe?" Hunter called out. I frowned as we moved towards it and I started to see some similarities between us. If I didn't know any better, we could be related.
"Hey, Daisy, it looks like you," May pointed out. I scowled at her.
"What? No! Related maybe but definitely not me!" I stammered out.
"Any idea what the plaque says?" Hunter asked as he wiped off some of the dust on the gold inscription. I stared in shock as the ancient symbols seemed to float before my eyes and I found that I could read them.
"It says Thalia - The Savior - Goddess of Life" I read out the three lines of text. "There's a few more titles as well; The Protector of the Universe, Maiden of the Stars, jeeze the list goes on," I said as I glanced at the plaque.
"I wonder who she was...or is," Coulson said as he glanced back and forth between me and the statue. I inwardly groaned as I could see the wheels turning in his mind. "This looks like the kind of Ancient Greek temples they used to build in honor of the gods and goddesses," he added.
"It probably is, didn't you notice the statues of Zeus, Aphrodite, Athena, and Artemis out in that other room with all the bodies?" I asked.
"No, I was a little preoccupied," he replied. "Let's head back," he said after a while.

"It's good to have Simmons back," I commented a few hours later as I stood by the window in Coulson's office with my back to him.
I heard the door close as Coulson walked over to me looking out the window as well.
"Which is why you should be down there," he told me.
I turned to look at him.
"I know you're going to go after them," I said.
"Daisy," he started to say.
"No, it's okay. I get it. They're bad people. And right now they have The Obelisk, which is a bad thing. You know, I spent all my life wondering who they were and why they left. But after today, I-I just don't care anymore. All I care about is that we stop them, and I just wanted to let you know that whatever it takes to do that, I'm in," I rambled. (So they don't know that a few of the hydra agents managed to escape with the obelisk so her parents don't have it any more; basically they came down from Olympus to get it in the hopes it would el them find her (since that's what it's whole purpose is) but then they got attacked by Hydra and managed to kill almost everyone but not before the diviner was taken - and I'm thinking that in the same way that like the characters in Percy Jackson, they aren't really supposed to visit earth very often so they return back to Olympus but will start to help guide Daisy now with their voice - and I'm thinking the explanation as to why she suddenly starts to hear them is because she's slowly starting to accept that greek mythology is real so like the gods are at their highest powers when ppl believe in them which was why they weren't able to speak to her beforehand. And why I decided to give her her own temple since I figured she may not like the idea of having people worship her but there will be times where the belief in her will strengthen her powers.
"That's good to know," Coulson said.
"If we're gonna do this you have to be completely honest with me from now on. No more secrets, no more compartmentalization, and definitely no more hidden cameras. Whatever's going on, you bring me in, no exceptions!" I demanded.
"Okay."
I sighed in relief, expecting him to have pushed back more on that.
"Okay."
"We should probably get started," he stated.
He turned away from me and I looked at him shocked and confused. He walked to his desk and hit a button on the tablet sitting there. I heard a whirring noise as the large wall monitor was lifted up showing the wall with the carvings behind it. I looked at them then moved in closer to the wall.
"So this is what you've been doing up here."
"Well, it's what I did yesterday," Coulson informed me.
I glanced back at him with shock.
"You're kidding."
"I don't know how else to explain it, but it needs to be carved," Coulson said with a shrug.
"Does – does it just appear in your mind like some sort of vision?" I asked.
"No. It just kinda happens, which is really frustrating because no matter how much I carve it still means nothing to me," he frowned. I walked forwards - getting close enough to the wall to touch it. "I don't even have a theory."
I ran my fingers along one of the lines.
"I do," I said though I hadn't known I was going to say that. The words taking both me and Coulson both by surprise, as I turned and looked at him with large eyes.
"It's a map."
I glanced down as my phone pinged several times with messages from all of the avengers along with Lucifer and Loki but I ignored them. I was assuming they had felt the emotional turmoil I had gone through today but I had no energy to tell them about it. I wasn't even sure how to wrap my head around it all and my main focus was on helping the one parent-figure in my life that I knew I could rely on.
(On some sites the pictures of the aesthetic I was going for will not show but you can view them on my Wattpad version)
