Midgardian life

Days passed quickly for Sigyn because she was most of the time unconscious. Sometimes doctors take her somewhere and she thought she heard them calling baby-baby, sometimes Larry talked to her like a desperate lover teling her how much he loves her, sometimes her mother and grandfather visit her with certain flowers. She opens her eyes but not for long and most of the time she can focus anything. She didn't know she's in dream or reality.

Most of times she dreams about her father killing her or her time with her secretary. Sometimes she saw random women pregnant in her dreams. And then she also heard Larry reading her novels.

She opened her eyes, they opened wider today. It's almost evening. She moved her head and noticed Larry jumped to her side. She mouthed water as word didn't came out but he made her drink water slowly and dried the drops falling from her lips with towel.

She opened her palm and Larry put his hand in it. She tried to talk again. This time words were low but audible "come closer".

He leaned forward placing other hand on bed. She said slowly like whispering "I could fire you from my company but I could never fire you from my life. So don't ever think about leaving me again. Ok?" She caressed his cheek with her other hand.

"The one who was planning to leave me was you"

She smiled and pulled him down to kiss but he stopped. "No you can't do anything physical. You don't have energy either"

Then a nurse entered room. "Don't suffocate her" she almost shoved Loki away from her. "I'll call doctor don't do anything like that to her. She needs her energy to recover"

Nurse went out. Sigyn murmured "I have energy to do a lot more than just kissing trust me"

Loki shooked his head in disbelief.

Everything was going good with Sigyn's health. Bone had a hole but it is not fractured. It's clear that she is recovering very fast and she is so much alert now means her body is responding well. Doctor thinks it's unnecessary to keep her unconscious now.

Few more days they kept her in hospital to see if her body is working properly and finally she was discharged. Loki helped her to reach home and he always remain beside her to give her proper care.

Njord heard about Larry's love for her. How he hadn't left her side and cried for her when she was in the hospital. He wanted to meet this guy. So he invited Sigyn and Larry for dinner and all Sigyn's sisters and her mother.

She wore a blue gown upto calf length and Larry helped her to do her hairs. She realized she has gain weight and her dresses were tight so this was the one that fits.

She saw Larry took off his shirt and pant. He wore new pant, when he stood up Sigyn was standing behind him. She kissed his shoulder and slowly moved in front of him but not leaving him for a second, trailing kissing on his shoulder to collar bone. She then, moved downward kissing his chest all over and then his abs. She kneeled and her teeth caught his pant when Larry stopped her. "We have to go, we don't have time and also I think you should save your energy, my lady"

She shoved his arms aside after he pulled her up from shoulder. She kissed his jaw fervently. Again he tried to stop by holding her face in his hands. When he was about to say something, he saw her eyes filled with desire. "No, you are not fully recovered. You need to rest"

She pretended not to listen him as she lauched herself to kiss his lips. He grumbled something but words just got lost in her mouth. He found her not leaving him so he picked her up. She wrapped her legs around his waist. He laid her on bed and finally she left his mouth. He was on his limbs, she kissed his abdomen again. Parts of him started fluttering with want but he wanted to control it.

He pulled her from hairs lightly and told her. "Stop it, enough"

She arched back and bite her lip. "It's been two months I can't control anymore"

Suddenly, Loki's feelings vanished as a new though enter his mind. He face fell down and words escaped his mouth. "Sometimes I feel... is it even that what I thought we have between us?"

Sigyn frowned. Loki stood up and started dressing. "What... what do you think I am doing with you?"

He was tying his tie. "Most of the time I try not to think about it because everytime my mind give me same answer"

"What is it?"

He looked at her through mirror. "That I've become a call boy, a whore. Nothing more than that". He diverted his eyes.

"I haven't touched you from two months. Is it not enough for you to not feel like you are a whore?"

He fetched his wallet and mobile to put them in pocket but avoiding looking at Sigyn at all. "Let me make a correction here. Two months which include our fight, your injury and unconsciousness and me stopping you not to do anything like that because of your physical condition". He was rude and loud a little.

Sigyn was clearly hurt because she didn't said anything but kept looking at him. He continued with a sigh. "I feel like I'm nothing more than your dose". He went out.

He was sitting in the back seat when Sigyn came. She decided to take the front sit as driver drove the car to her grandfather's house.

Soon dinner started, Njord was very interested in knowing Larry. So he asked him many questions. Soon realization hit Njord as he found Larry's past events matching Loki's. Ofcourse, he know about his adopted grandson. Frigga used to love him a lot. More Njord asked and more he found his suspicions correct.

Njord realized a dangerous game being played with his granddaughter. But the way Larry took care for Sigyn, his oldage experience could ensure that he loves her. But what will Sigyn do when she find out the truth?

Sigyn was avoiding Larry and not accepting any assistant from him. Soon the dinner was over and Sigyn's sisters took Larry for house tour.

Sigyn went with Njord to his study. Njord was very feeble old man fighting through cancer, trying to live last days of his life happily. He loves Sigyn because he knows who's blood she is.

Odr could never become a father he was just a rotten apple. He became criminal after he didn't got Njord's company. It was Freya and Odin's vulnerability that brings Sigyn to this life. Only few people know about it. 'Loki is Odin's adopted son and have absolute no relation with Sigyn. This relation seems to have no fault. At least one of them never called Odin father' Njord thought.

"Grandpa, what are you thinking?"

He brought his attention to her. "I was thinking what do you think of this guy, Lionel?"

"He was my secretary and now he is taking care of...."

He held Sigyn's hand. "Child, you know I don't want to know these details. You know what I am asking"

She seems hesitant. "Grandpa, I...." she felt like crying suddenly. "Ever since he came in my life, I feel so weak, so defeated. I have feelings for him but I want to hate him"

He hugged her. "May be he is the one you needed, my child"

"I..." she shook her head but Njord cut her.

"Go somewhere with him. Somewhere no one can find you, live your life, try to know each other. My child, I have a very strong feeling this will work. I have to see you happy after all. This is my last wish"

"I am not leaving you alone now I am not going anywhere from this city. I want to be here to spend time with you as much as I can"

"If you will be happy when I die... no matter wherever you are... trust me my soul will rest in peace"

Sigyn found Larry standing in front of a wall full of framed photos and her sisters showing him those. When she came they all left with goodnight. Sigyn stood beside him looking at the photos just like him.

A few moments of silence was broken by Sigyn finally. She pointed a photo. "That was the pic of my prom... the night I lost my virginity. He was crazy for me, always chasing me until that night. After that night, he didn't even care to look at me. You won't believe it but I cried to have his love. But he... he had what he wanted and after that he didn't care"

"May be you also have done that to many. Who knows?" Loki was looking at the wall. He was not in a state of sympathizing with her.

"I have only slept with call boys or men who were dying to spend one night with me. I always wanted any of those to come back to me and tell me that they want me... they want me not just in night but in morning too, want me not to fuck but to love... need me like a necessity"

Loki didn't know what to say. She continued "I never slept with you just for pleasure. Sometimes it was that I couldn't control my feelings, sometimes because I don't want you to go to anyone else to satisfy your needs and sometimes...."

She took a deep breath. "You are different. You give your best as my secretary and now taking care of me... thankyou for that". Her heart took a sudden swing and it hurts her to say. "I'm assuming that you have left everything I've given you. Send me your address or account number I'll sent you a cheque, want to pay you for taking care of me". She felt her chest tightened but she left.

Loki snapped at her in disbelief. What happened?
