Remember when-!
Mickey was sat on the back of Colin's truck, Iggy next to him, Colin standing close by. They were parked in an abandoned parking lot across from a motel, joking around with one another. "Hey, hey! You know what this reminds me of?" Iggy asked. "What, dumbass?" Colin asked. Iggy ignored the name, rolling his eyes "When we went on that run with Uncle Mark and we had to break into his truck because he locked the keys inside. I think we were in- fuck- Texas?". "Yeah! It was Texas. I remember because that was the first run I ever went on. And my birthday." Mickey said. "Shit, really? That was like- eight years ago." Colin said. "Yeah. We were out there for two fucking hours. You'd think for a family full of criminals we'd know how to break into a truck easily." Mickey said, pulling a chuckle from his brothers. "How did we ever get the keys out? I always fuckin forget." Iggy asked. Colin laughs loudly "You don't remember?! We had to break one of the windows and shove Mickey through because he was the smallest." Iggy and Mickey start laughing at that.
"Wait remember when we used to go hunting for roaches because we ran out of money for weed?" Colin asked. Mickey claps his hands then points at Colin "Yes! We used to go to every park on the south side looking.". "We rolled some bomb ass joints doing that." Iggy said "Going to the park to find weed.-" Mickey said with a laugh "White trash childhood at its finest.". Iggy laughs "Truly" he agreed as Colin nodded his head.
"Remember that time ma'- well my mom, took us to the beach?" Mickey asked. "Yeah." Colin said, smiling at the memory. "That was the best fucking weekend ever. We went to shops to actually shop!" Iggy said. "If only Terry hadn't pond everything when we got home." Mickey said. "Shit, he was so fuckin' mad." Iggy said "Still glad ma' took us though.". "Yeah." Mickey said, sadly smiling. The night they got home from that trip was the last time he ever saw his mom. He likes to think she because Terry beat her that night, he always got mad at her for the smallest things but there's a part of him that knows she was planning to leave that night anyway, without him. Iggy looks over at his younger brother "Shit, Mick. Are you fuckin crying?". "What! Fuck n-" Mickey brings his hand up to his face and fells its wet "Shit." Mickey angrily curses. "It's fine dude. You can have fucking emotions." Iggy said. Colin pats Mickey on the shoulder "Yeah we all cry sometime. Exceptionally when it comes to ma'. We all fuckin miss her.". Iggy pulls Mickey into a side hug "Cry it out, shithead. Cry it out.
They sat there in silence for a few minutes. It was nice. Until Colin broke the silence. "Love this family bonding goin' on but isn't that the guy?" Colin asked pointing to a man walking towards the motel across from them. "Shit! Yeah it is." Mickey said hopping off the back of the truck. Iggy grabs a baseball bat from the bed of the truck, hands it to Colin before picking up and metal rod and another baseball bat. Mickey watches as the man walk into one of the rooms, taking note of the room number. "That pedo fucker aint gonna know what hit him." Iggy said hopping off the truck, handing Mickey the metal rod, "No the fuck he ain't".
