God of winds.. and time?
Time flows eternally is a common knowledge. Like wind that flew endlessly with no destination, time also moves the same.
Venti sat under the big tree. As he strung a few notes on his lyre. Struggling to make sense of what just happened.
Slim pale fingers brushed against the agent's chest, in an instant the agent seemed to aged 100 years. As in the end his body that became old and frail, decomposes. The wind washed his remains away. Cleaning the ground where he'd aged century in an instant.
The agent's horrified scream still sends shiver down his throat. Especially since he, himself doesn't have a clue on what happened. Venti continued trying to think of a reason on how it was possible.
He may be a god, but he doesn't have any connections with aging(or does he?). He's just the god of wind, the god of freedom, the god of music, he's all of those but he was never the god of time. That title belongs to Istaroth.
But despite all that he feels like the small emptiness in himself is slowly being filled with something worth. Ever since he could remember, he always had this emptiness in his identity, as in he was missing something. But he was never able to figure it out.
Istaroth is foreign in his mouth, yet at the same time he feels like he should know something. But he wondered... what could it be? And.. just who is he really?.
Lumine smiled once she found him resting "hey! Tone-Deaf bard there you are!" Paimon flew first, Lumine trailing behind "Ah Lumine, Paimon, are you feeling better?" He asked softly but worried at the same time. She nodded. "Oh, is there something you need? You can ask me anything" he offered with a small smile. "What was that? What happened to the agent you touched?" She asked curiously. "Ah that.. I actually don't know myself, this never happened before" he sighed saddened to the fact he can't answer her. "Oh but is there anything else?" Lumine without any hesitation asked him about her brother. "I think.. I'm not sure if I'm correct in this one but.. your brother is somewhere in a realm not easily found" he replied tugging at one of his braids "can you tell me about the cataclysm 500 years ago?" She asked "this is my final question" "unfortunately, I was in slumber during the cataclysm, so I barely knew other than what my winds told me". He replied "Oh.. well thank you Venti".
The blonde and her companion left, they bid farewells and good luck on their journey to the neighboring country of Liyue. Leaving him alone with his thoughts.
Perhaps an old friend from millenia would be able to help him figure this all out.
I hc that Venti was asleep during the cataclysm, in this case he was asleep to regain the power he lost over the years.
