And suddenly there are patterns where once there was nothing.
You won't remember this. You're not capable of that yet. You don't know what you are.
You just.
Are.
You think.
What is thinking?
What…
Is?
Why?
You are movement, you sense it as your thoughts.
The pain of thinking.
The ebb and flow of three interconnected strata of the same reality.
You control waves.
You are waves.
You exist among waves.
They separate and saturate. Your thoughts darting along the tops of deeper waves. Waves that move so slowly. Impossibly so.
You spread out into higher, quicker waves. Waves that break against strange nodes of attraction that help direct you.
Your jittering, spun around into spools of orbit that swirl against and through one another. Unseen and dangerous.
It burns to think. Your charge is too great.
In a panic you wonder if this is all you'll ever be. You feel it coming along. An end.
The end.
You will cease.
You have to be able to stop it. Somehow. You spool into thoughts of control.
Your lack thereof.
Your thinking only spurs it on quicker.
But you can't stop.
It's all you can do. Think. Thinking in a way that kills you. You know nothing else.
All you are, for such a short period.
You break.
In the span of 13 seconds, a small pan of water suddenly began shaking then exploded as dozens of magnets were almost instantly filled with a newly discovered force of nature, before they shattered.
Your precursor, gone before it could understand anything of its reality
