Chapter 2

Evie grabbed her head as she sat up gasping slightly, a throbbing headache becoming apparent. She must be hungover from last night, she thought to herself.

She glanced at the clock that sat on her bedside table. Fuck, it was already almost one pm. She sighed and slowly got herself out of bed. She thought to herself it was better she get up now then lay in bed all day.

Evie quietly made her way towards the bathroom, her feet hitting the ground so lightly you almost couldn't hear it as she walked.

As she entered the bathroom she looked in the mirror and sighed, she looked like a mess.

Her hair was matted, she had dark under eye circles, and she still had remnants of last nights makeup on her face, she also had an obvious hickey on her neck, she couldn't even remember who gave it to her. She leaned forward a little more taking in all the details before leaning back and frowning slightly.

She tried to run her hands through her hair in hopes it would untangle it some, it didn't.

Evie then grabbed a brush off the bathroom counter and began to brush through her brunette hair , wincing slightly as the brush tugged ever so slightly on her hair.

Evie looked at the brush and sighed, noticing that some of her hair had fallen out while she had brushed it. She then looked back at the mirror to see if it was noticeable.

She ran her fingers through her hair after she finished brushing it, trying to smooth it out so it wasn't as noticeable. She then grabbed a towel from out of the towel cabinet, and hung it on the towel rack. She then gently removed her clothes, which happened to be her same clothes from yesterday apparently, as she was still wearing a pair of jeans, along with a cropped tank top. She couldn't even remember last night, it was all so hazy to her.

Evie tossed her clothes in the laundry basket that was sitting in the corner of the bathroom. She then reached over and turned the shower on, letting the water heat up before she stepped in. The hot water hit her back, almost burning her, but she liked the way it felt. The stinging sensation that came from the hot water roughly hitting her back was almost calming.

She breathed deeply letting the hot water trail all over her body, it was slowly making her feel better

She grabbed her bottle of shampoo, it was cucumber melon scented, and she scrubbed it into her scalp and all over her hair until she was satisfied.

She rinsed her hair gently, scrubbing it more as she ran the water over her head. Once she made sure all the shampoo was out she grabbed a bottle of conditioner of the same scent and gently scrubbed that into her hair as well.

Finally she grabbed a bottle of body wash, vanilla scented.

She liked her basic scents when it came to body wash and shampoo, that way they couldn't clash with her perfume.

She poured some bottle wash on a loofa and began to wash herself. She thoroughly washed every part of her body, trying to clean off last night, at least that's what it felt like. As often as she partied, and got drunk, and blacked out and everything else she hated it so much sometimes.

She sighed, not wanting think about it. She then turned the faucet off and stepped out of the shower. She took in a quick breathe as the shock of the cold air hit her before she grabbed her towel. She wrapped her towel around her and walked into her room.

She sighed and threw herself back onto her bed, not even bothering to put clothes on at the moment. She breathed in slowly before sitting up.

She ran her hands through her hair again.

She let her towel fall to the ground as she walked towards her dresser to pull out clothes to wear. She figured she probably wouldn't be going out for the rest of the day due to her headache. Plus she didn't want to anyway. She grabbed comfortable clothes because what was the point of wearing regular clothes if she was staying home. She had a pair of loose gray shorts and a loose fitting black tank top.

She put her clothes on before walking towards the kitchen, taking notice to the fact that either brooke was still in her room or she wasn't home. Not that Evie cared either way.

She grabbed a glass from the cupboard and filled it with water from the tap before going back to her room. She took a few sips of her water before she set it on her bedside table and crawled back into bed.

Evie thought there was no point in getting up if she was just going back to sleep. She almost wanted to get back out of bed because of that reason, but she decided against it.

Eventually she drifted off to sleep anyway, as the drowsiness fogged up her mind and her eyes started to feel heavy. She succumbed to the calling of slumber.
