Chaeyoung, as she was running to Minas house, decided to stop by a jewelry store to buy something for her as an apology for being inconsiderate of her feelings.
As soon as she arrived she felt nervous to say the least.
Her plan was to confess to her she liked her and see where they go from there.
Knocking on her door she stood quietly waiting for someone to open up.
At first she thought she was given the wrong address but then her worries were washed away as Mina opened up the door.
“Chaeyoung?” said mina as she saw who it was
Before Mina could say anything Chaeyoung burst out talking right away. “Before you kick me out of your house please let me tell you something. I like you. I don't know if you still like me but the reason I told you that last weekend was because I like you too and didn't know how to react to you feeling the same way I do. I apologize for acting that way. It took me a week to figure out what to do and I just had to come tell you right away before you end up not liking me anymore. Mina, I really really like you. Since the first time I saw you i felt something different when looking your way. You're one of the prettiest and beautiful girls I have ever met in my life. I truly like you. So please, take this as my apology for being an ass to you.” After she said everything she gave mina the box of jewelry.
Mina was shocked at the sudden confession on her door step and the gift she was given.
She opened it and saw a delicate looking watch in a rose gold color. It was one of the prettiest she has ever seen.
“Wow. um. Come in?” She said after snapping out of the daze she was in. She was lucky her mother wasn't home, she had went grocery shopping in another town. It seemed as if she knew this would happen.
Mina led Chaeyoung to the living room signaling her to sit while she went to go grab them something to drink.
After coming back it was oddly quiet between them.
Mina decided to break the silence and say something. “So, what now?”
“I think we go on dates to get to know each other better? That is if you still like me of course.”
“That sounds good to me. Because you know… I still like you and all that” mina shyly replied.
“Well… Um.. I think I should go… I came just to tell you that and didn't make a plan as to what to do after.”
“You can stay for a bit? My mom isn't home yet and I think she would like to meet you.”
“Okay, if that's alright with you.”
“Do you like video games? I have a PC with games on it we can play together.”
“Really! I love games. I would love to play with you.”
Mina led Chaeyoung to her room to play with her very expensive PC set she had.
Chaeyoung had expected it to be just a small computer with online games, she didn't expect for there to be gaming computers with multiple displays in a corner of the room.
“Woah. I was not expecting that.” is all she could say
“Yeah I'm a huge fan of games so my mom helped me buy it”
After small talk they got to playing until her mother arrived
“My mom is here. You should come with me to meet her.” Mina quietly said as she grabbed onto chaeyoungs hand to snap her out of the game.
Chaeyoung felt the warmth of her hand and looked up at her. Every time she saw her it seemed she got prettier. Nevertheless, she followed her to the kitchen to greet Mrs.Myoui.
“Mom, this is chaeyoung, the girl I've told you about before.”
“Ahh so this is the girl you wont stop talking about.” She laughed
“Its nice to meet you mrs. Myoui.” she replied shyly.
“You should stay for dinner Chaeyoung”
“Oh no I wouldn't dare to stay.”
“You should. The more the merrier.”
“I would love to but my mother is waiting for me at home.”
“Well then you can just invite her over. That way I can meet her, see if we get along once the two of you start dating.” she winked at Mina
“mom!!! “ she yelled feeling embarrassed.
“What? Its true! You both like each other and will eventually start dating so its only normal for me to want to meet her parents.” she rebutted
With that chaeyoung had no choice but to call her mother and invite her over to the Myoui household for dinner.
Her mother arrived and they had a nice dinner together. It seemed the two parents got along very well that they decided all four of them should have dinner once a week(the fathers would get to know each other later as they worked in the same company.)
That day was very eventful for the two girls, as they started their “talking” stage and decided to also go out once or twice (sometimes everyday) a week until they felt ready to become official.
