The fourth day arrived, meaning there were only two days left.
Today was Nayeon's day.
And boy was she excited.
Day 4 of making Mina feel better part Nayeon
The day started off just like all the other days of this week, someone in her room while she slept but this time the girl in the room with her decided to get into bed with her and sleep for a while.
Mina was kind of weirded out as the past days they would wake her up and get going right away.
This time the girl chose to sleep in with her. It made her think that she wouldn't have to leave her house and that made her feel relaxed.
But nayeon had other plans…First she needed to sleep a little bit more though.
She stayed up all night thinking of her plan, she was tired so she decided to start her plan later in the day.
After Mina's mother left for work Nayeon suddenly got up and grinned from ear to ear.
"Penguin Mina, today I'm going to take you where you belong."
"And where is that? Is it another room with a big bed and no windows so I can sleep in?"
"Sounds depressing, but no. I'm taking you to the aquarium!! But it's not going to be us normally going like any other person, no no. I have an outfit for you and you must wear it. No buts, and so you don't feel lonely. I have one too. Now go get changed so we can arrive on time."
Mina at first thought it was going to be a normal outing to the aquarium but once nayeon said that she had to wear an 'outfit' she was kind of concerned, in the questionable way that is.
Once she wore the outfit she felt like a child. It was a penguin onesie.
Nayeons? Simple, it was a bunny. They may be going to an aquarium but she had to dress the part.
Thinking that Nayeon was going to drive them there, Mina thought it wasn't bad. But then Nayeon told her that it was going to be by foot, as in walking to the bus station and sitting with strangers wearing onesies.
They then made their way to the bus station. People stared at them, but Nayeon did not care, she was holding Minas hand as if she was Minas mother, giving a huge motherly smile.
On the other hand, Mina was a bit embarrassed. Through the bus ride Nayeon worked her magic, (her way of sweet talking people into doing what she wants) and suddenly Mina was confident in her childlike outfit.
It was on time as they arrived at the aquarium once Nayeon stopped talking.
"Wow, it's so big and nice!" Exclaimed Mina.
She's been to aquariums before but not this one. It was bigger than she expected.
" Do you like Mina? I was thinking this is a place I could be the only one to take you because I don't know where else the rest have taken you but I think you might like this place it's my way of distracting you. Is it working?" Sassily said Nayeon.
" Yes I love it. I've actually never been here before. I've been to my fair share of aquariums but I just haven't been to this one and so far I really like it." She replied
" Well, since you like it this much, why don't we just go ahead and go on in and just see everything there might be a few activities planned here we can go have some fun come on let's go!"
As the two went in they saw a huge amount of fishes, octopus, eels, and other water creatures.
By this time Mina had forgotten that Nayeon had convinced her to be confident in her outfit.
She was a child again, jumping around pointing at things while Nayeon followed her around doing the same.
They found a tourist group and decided to join them to see all of the water animals and plants throughout the aquarium.
As soon as it ended though, they went back around to look at everything relaxed, they took pictures with a camera they bought inside the gift shop while touring around.
They asked strangers to take pictures of them. The said strangers looked at them kind of funny but they really didn't mind as they were having fun.
After spending the entire morning (almost until the afternoon), they got tired and decided to go eat. They ate quickly and regained their energy to continue running around until it was time to go.
Knowing MIna, they did not leave until Mina bought every single thing in the gift shop, not literally of course, but she really did buy one of everything.
Nayeon just had to watch as Mina piled things after things in the cart she had.
Once finished they left happily. Mina had forgotten how they got there so she was brought back to reality once she realized she had to carry everything home on the bus.
Luckily Mina's mother got out of work and came to pick them up. Nayeon stayed the night as she had fallen asleep in the car.
