After Mina and her mother arrived home they were tired of the long car ride so they showered and went straight to bed.
As soon as Mina woke up the next day she was surprised to see someone watching her. For how long was this person staring at her? Who knows.
Point is, the second day of the eventful week was here.
Day 2 of getting Mina to feel better Part Momo
"Heyyyyy hot stuff. Time to go, come on, get ready. I'll feed you breakfast on the way. I told your mom already so we're gonna be out all day." She said as she took the blankets off of Mina to make her get up.
Mina was rubbing her eyes trying to make sense of what was going on. She got up and changed, still not understanding where they were going.
Not bothering to ask her friend, she just followed her out the door of her house.
"So," Momo said as they walked down the street, "we are going to buy breakfast first, probably not healthy food though, but it is what it is."
"Huh? Do you plan to explain where we're going? You know, to at least be prepared?" She questioned
"Ha Nope, if I tell you 're going to run away and we don't want that. the point is here to make you feel better about your whole post concert drama."
"Okay? At least what food we are eating. At least tell me that."
"No one can do Miss myoui. Come on, we're close."
They kept walking left and right through the streets until they got to a breakfast diner place.
"We're gonna eat here?"
"Yes, an unhealthy breakfast once in a while isn't so bad. Plus We're gonna burn off these calories after breakfast." She said as she walked up to the counter and started ordering their breakfast.
Once they sat down and their meal was placed they started to eat.
Momo was feeling a little curious so she decided to ask, "Mina why did you get so sad after she rejected you? You literally haven't talked to her before. I'm just curious to know."
"Well ever since I first saw her I just felt something different. It wasn't like when I liked those other girls. It felt more special, as if she was the one, turns out I was wrong about it, so it made me feel bad you know. I was delusional that it might work this time as I mustered up the courage to finally speak up and then this happened." She opened up to how she felt for the first time, all she had done before was just cry but not exactly say how she felt about it.
It felt relieving, getting to speak out her feelings without being judged.
Momo felt for her friend so she decided to comfort her.
"I see, well I know how you feel now so I'm 100% sure my plan is going to work now."
Once finished eating they made their way to the unknown place Momo was planning on taking Mina.
Arriving at the mall, Mina thought they were going shopping.
Turns out she was completely wrong.
They arrived at the arcade.
Momo with a flashing smile looked towards her friend and walked inside confidently.
"Hello, I'd like to pay for two all-day tickets please." She said to the worker.
She got the tickets and went back up to Mina and showed them to her.
"These, my friend, are my way of getting you to feel better. I don't know what Tzuyu did, but this is my way. Let's have fun! We won't leave until they close shop."
"All right then, let's go beat these machines!"
They scanned through the area and went from left to right, on all the games. Not leaving the game until they beat their own high score, or winning the claw machines, they were really into it. The kids who would show up and wait for them to finish felt intimidated by them and just left.
Halfway through the day Momo stopped to get some food for both of them. Mina at the moment was at a claw machine trying to get a penguin plushie.
"Hey there, good looking, why don't we tone it down a little and eat some food?" She lifted up the bag of fast food she had in her hands.
When Momo had said that they were going to burn the calories she had meant that she knew Mina would be very competitive when playing such games so she would eventually get in the zone and sweat.
She was right since Mina was sweating when she sat down to eat.
As soon as they finished eating Mina went right back to the claw machine, determined to win that stuffed plushie.
Momo, on the other hand, found a secret area between the games and sat herself down with a milkshake she bought.
Drinking her milkshake on a beanbag and sunglasses (no one knows where she found the beanbag or where she kept her glasses) it might have seemed she was sun tanning on a beach on a very relaxing vacation.
When the arcade started to close, Mina was almost there to beat her high score.
A worker came up to her and was about to ask her to leave when she beat her high score.
"SCOREEEEEEEEEEEE!! You see that dude? That was all me with no cheating. Now i know you're going to tell me to leave, and I will just let me quickly take a picture of this, then I'll get out of your hair." Mina praised herself and gloated over her last and final win.
Momo was waiting for her to go home when she saw the interaction she had with the worker.
It seemed her plan, as weird as it may seem, paid off.
