Forced Marriage (Wenclair)
Summary
"Out of the billions of people in this world, I'm being married to a werewolf?" Wednesday threw daggers at her parents, physically and staringly."Yes, my little raven. The Sinclair family will be collaborating their business with our own in exchange for Enid marrying you. You need a partner for the rest of your life to take over our company," her father cracked a smile."Kill me now."Wednesday Addams discovered terrifying news during dinner. She is being forced to marry Enid Sinclair, the youngest lycanthrope in the Sinclair family. Enid, however, didn't like the idea at first until she learned more about the kooky psychic. Jealousy in Sight

"Is it necessary to have an immense amount of stuffed animals? I believe none is enough," Wednesday lowered her brows in disbelief.

"There's no such thing as owning too many stuffed animals. Didn't your parents give you a plush when you were little?" Enid interrogated the goth girl.

"Yes they did, and I made the decision of blowing it up with dynamites," Addams retorted casually.

"That's supposed to stay with you until adulthood. You know, to remind you of your childhood memories. Like this one here," Sinclair presented a stuffed werewolf.

"A werewolf holding a werewolf. How amusing," the psychic flatly stated.

"I know right! This is the first plush I received as a pup. I always had it on my bed to sleep with. It resembles me since my plushie has the exact same color fur as me when I transform as a wolf," the lycanthrope pointed out.

"I'll be the judge of that."

"It's a good thing you said that because I will be shifting in front of you tonight."

"You kept me waiting long enough," Wednesday remarked.

"The wait will be worth it, Wens. Anyways, what should we do on a Thursday noon without Pugsley around? You showed me the proper way to clean the house the entire day on Monday. Tuesday, we played Uno, Monopoly, and Clue for hours. Yesterday, you did your best to sacrifice me just to talk with Goody, which I willingly volunteered for. And now I want to try out something new," Enid cleared up.

An idea popped into the raven's head and announced, "Lurch can drive us to town. I've been craving an iced quad espresso. I'm positive you're the type who enjoys caffeine."

"I sure do! Let me guess... We're going to Starbucks?!" The werewolf exclaimed excitedly.

"No. Starbucks is for people who have miserable lives and try to stay alive with three cups of coffee inside of their system daily. Instead, we'll be heading to Weathervane's Cafe and Bakery. My pest of a family and I stop by sometimes. It's not filled with a lot of people which I prefer," the short girl answered blatantly.

"That doesn't sound too bad. We can make it into a friendly date. Just you and I having drinks and getting a conversation started," Enid happily put out.

"As long as you don't interview me with thousands of questions in mind. We have limited time. Therefore, let's leave," Wednesday concluded.

The blonde girl nodded in agreement before Wednesday marched out of the bedroom. Enid walked behind her down the staircase and to the front door. On the other side of the entrance was Lurch and Thing polishing the black, nineteen thirty-eight Pontiac vehicle. It looked brand new and cleaner than it was the first time Enid saw it.

"You guys really take care of your car. My parents end up destroying theirs and have to buy a new one," the bubbly lycan mentioned.

"Irresponsible is what they are."

"They are. All because we have money."

"I sense you're not a copy of them," Addams commented.

"Hell no. They can do whatever they want, but my parents cannot change me into them," Sinclair huffed aloud.

Snap snap!

What are you guys talking about? Thing snapped his fingers to grab the girls' attention and signed to them.

"Are you and Lurch finished? We need Lurch to drive us into town," Wednesday disregarded the limb's question.

We are done with the car. Where are you two lovebirds heading off to?

"We're going to a cafe to get some caffeine into our system," Enid answered while ignoring what Thing called the duo.

Oh? So like a date huh? If Thing had a mouth, he would be smirking.

"Enid and I agreed that it is a friendly date. Nothing more," the goth frowned upon the hand.

What a disappointment. Anyways, I gotta do some important work while you guys are gone. Don't have too much.

"When I get back, I will pierce some tacks on each of your fingers," the psychic intimidated.

Thing slowly backed away in fear and signaled, Enid, please convince your fiancée not to kill me before you guys come back home.

"Uh, okay?" The vivid werewolf didn't know what else to say.

Before Wednesday was about to verbally menace Thing, he crawled away back inside the mansion. Her eyes followed him until she felt a gentle hand on her upper arm. She turned her head to find Enid trying to soothe her. The raven stared at the hand, then glanced up to the blonde's face.

"Thing is in his weird mood I bet. But hey, you should try to lessen up. Maybe this date and me shifting into a werewolf later on will help give you some proper relief," Enid was doing her best to distract Wednesday from Thing.

"I speculate you could be accurate. There's no time to waste. Lurch, take us to Weathervane's Cafe and Bakery," Wednesday demanded to the butler as he grunted in response and opened the door for the girls to enter.

Enid let go of Wednesday's arm to let the shorter female go first in the back of the car. She then proceeded to set foot in the vehicle after Addams. Both sat across from each other as Lurch shut the door before walking to the driver's side. He pulled out the keys from his pocket and slid the key into the ignition, powering the car on. Lurch began driving down the driveway and onto the street to the urban area.

——————————

The drive took fifteen minutes to reach the destination. Enid was very eager to go check out the town's stores surrounding the cafe. There were a few she recognized, but some stores were never heard from. Although her priority is to spend time with the solemn individual, she will come back to the city someday to shop.

"This is totally like where I am from," Enid uttered.

"How so?" Wednesday questioned while she departed from the automobile.

"It's busy. I thought it wouldn't be as packed like in California. Turns out I am wrong," the lycanthrope indicated.

"This is why my family and I live farther from the cities," the psychic clarified.

"You and your family made the right choice. And we did too by stopping here. It's a new place and experience for me. As for you, you're accompanied by the bestest person in the world," Sinclair grinned extensively.

"You enjoy flattering yourself, dog. It will never end, will it?" Wednesday sternly kept her eyes on the taller woman.

"Nope! You'll have to suffer through my bizarre character. Now come on! Our drinks and pastries are waiting for us to be consumed," Enid freely wrapped an arm around Wednesday's shoulder as she tugged the girl inside the coffee shop.

The raven's eyes broadened in astonishment that the blonde was bold and comfortable enough to even place an arm around someone such as herself who hates physical touches. As much as Wednesday wants to tell Enid to let go of her, she will give the blonde a pass. To her, it's not as bad as she thought it would be, although she wouldn't say it to the world.

Once the opposite pair were in the cafe, a strong smell of coffee and bread hit both the girls' noses. There were not any customers lined up by the cash registers so Enid and Wednesday are the only ones in front of the counters. On the other side of the stand are two baristas having a small argument. It was until they noticed the ladies waiting on them to take their order.

The boy with lighter brown and short hair stepped away from the other employer as he went in front of the register. Enid found the badge with the name Tyler engraved. She was able to get a glimpse of the other boy's badge that says Xavier.

"Hey Wednesday. It's been a while since you came here. Who's this you brought over?" Tyler held a sweet expression.

"The name's Enid Sinclair. A good friend of Wednesday," the werewolf introduced herself before Wednesday did.

"Tyler Galpin. I thought you didn't like making friends Wednesday," Galpin was a bit shocked to hear the new information.

"I don't, and I am not interested in telling you the whole story of how we met," the goth woman declared.

"Fair enough. You want the usual?"

"Yes, with a side of a blackberry muffin."

"Okay, and for you Enid?" Tyler looked at Enid.

"I'll take a mocha frappe and a strawberry tart please," the lycan ordered.

"Got it. The total is six dollars," the green eyed man reported.

"That's pretty cheap," Sinclair pulled out her wallet from her pocket to pay.

"Well that's because Wednesday's stuff is always on the house. She's been a very loyal customer at the cafe," Tyler explicated.

Hearing the statement come out of Tyler's mouth made Wednesday scowl. She expected him to add the total of her items together with Enid. Rather, he is making the beast pay for her own food while Addams gets her own for free.

"If Enid has to pay for her drink and pastry, so should I," Wednesday asserted while she went to grab cash shoved into her pocket.

"There's no need for that. I can just give it to you guys without purchasing it. Sorry about that," Tyler fakely apologized.

"It's cool. I understand Wednesday has come by often, and she wouldn't have to pay anything because of your generosity."

"Thanks for understanding Enid. Xavier and I will serve you sooner so sit down wherever you like and make yourself comfy," Tyler grinned specifically to Wednesday.

"We will," Enid happily replied until Wednesday harshly gripped the girl's sleeve of her sweater and dragged her away from the cashier.

"You really are a mutt," the psychic insulted annoyingly.

"Why?" Enid tilted her head sideways like a puzzled puppy.

"I need to teach you how to stand up for yourself. Tyler didn't play nice with you by forcing you to pay for your own nourishment," Wednesday sat down at a booth where she typically prefers with Enid sitting and facing her.

"It's only six bucks Wens. Remember that we are both rich so it's all good. I should thank you for being concerned and standing up for me instead. It brightened up my day actually," Enid planted her elbows on the table and put her hands on her cheeks, smiling sincerely.

The facial expression on her face caused Wednesday to feel worms squirming inside of her intestines. She didn't know whether she was becoming ill or if it's the feelings that returned to haunt her. Either way, it felt tremendous to the raven.

Wednesday's gaze softened as she responded, "Anything that I do puts a smile on your face. Why is that?"

"Because I like you," Enid exhaled as she was in a trance.

Wednesday did not think the lycanthrope would blurt out something as appalling as her compliment. It almost made her jaw drop, but she had to keep her composure. Her reaction was almost difficult to not change, however the gothic female managed. Luckily for Wednesday, both Tyler and Xavier halted by the table to serve Enid and Wednesday's delicious treats.

"I'll bring some napkins after I get this other customer's order," Galpin addressed before he walked off to the register.

"I can't stand that guy. He had the audacity to make you pay and not Wednesday. No offense," Xavier vocalized bitterly.

"None taken," Wednesday said rapidly.

"It's fine. The business will lose its money if he keeps giving away freebies so I might as well pay," Enid shrugged.

"You seem pretty chill Enid. My name is Xavier Thorpe by the way. I never seen you around before," the long haired male brought up.

"That's because I sort of moved in with Wednesday a few weeks ago," the wolf answered.

"I didn't expect that. How's Wednesday treating you?"

"She's treating me well other than her comment about me. But I'm used to her already."

"Not me. She's a tough coconut to crack open," Thorpe disclosed.

"Not everyone can handle me. Just like Bianca can't handle you most of the time," Wednesday retorted.

"Damn, that's going to leave a mark on me. At least she gave me a second chance that I am not letting fly past me. I am going to do whatever I can to make her happy," Xavier reckoned.

"Hey, if you ever need help, I am the right person to reach for some love advice," Enid pointed a thumb at herself.

"Say no more. Here, this is my phone number," Xavier wrote down on his notepad before ripping the paper and handing it Enid.

"Sweet! I'll text you, and you will tell me what you need," the blonde stared at him.

"For sure. It was nice meeting you Enid, and it's good to see you again Wednesday. I must go back and help Tyler. Enjoy your treats ladies," Xavier saluted while he left the table.

"I didn't know you had other friends," Enid discovered.

"They are nothing but acquaintances. I should also say morons too," Wednesday added as she took a sip of her iced quad espresso.

"I figured you would say that," Enid beamed.

Addams paused for a couple of seconds before saying, "I must ask... What exactly do you mean when you said that you like me?"

Her question almost made Enid choke on a small piece of her strawberry tart. Easily, she controlled herself without making a scene. The lycan had hoped her words directed to Wednesday would be swept under the rug and never talked about. Her voice decided on its own to speak without thinking. Although, what Enid said was true. She truly adores the small individual.

"Well, what I meant was that you're somebody who I can really open up to and talk nonstop about things that I enjoy doing. I mean, we already built a friendship that feels like it will never break. That's why I said I like you. Because you are the first who would listen all about my life story," Sinclair expressed deeply.

"And here are your napkins. Do you guys need anything else?" Tyler intruded as he came over to the booth.

"I need you to go away," Wednesday glared down at the boy.

"Don't be like that Wednesday. It's been a month since we have seen each other. We should at least catch up now that I have my ten minute break," Galpin says as he leaned his body forward against the table.

"What makes you believe I want to catch up with you?"

"The last time we chatted, I thought about us hanging out after I'm done with work, but we can do that now."

"You might've dreamt it because I did not come into an agreement with your idea," Wednesday clenched onto her drink tightly.

While Enid watched the two interact, she couldn't help but feel a small smidge of anger bubbling inside of her. In fact, the way Tyler was getting closer to the goth made the action get on her nerves as well as growl under her breath. This was the first time the beast felt this upset before. However, what Tyler did ticked Enid off.

He lifted his hand to hover and lay on top of Wednesday's in order to show the girl that he's being physically affectionate. The raven and werewolf noticed what he was doing and reacted at the same time. Wednesday pulled her hand away right before Enid stood up next to the table to seize the boy's wrist with her colorful and pointy claws extended.

The bubbly girl knew deep down why her claws were exposed. A twinge of jealousy triggered her to increase the length of her nails. Included was a small portion of resentment for the older boy. She didn't like the view of him flirting with the one she turned soft and thoughtful towards. Now, Enid has the instinct to protect her.

Both Tyler and Wednesday had their eyes fixated on Enid. They didn't know what she would do next. What baffled the psychic was the lycanthrope's face switching from joyful to murderous. It made her heart flip and took her breath away.

"Wednesday is not comfortable enough for you to be touching her. Also, she's taken by someone else," rage filled Enid's eyes.

"By who exactly?" Tyler tested the woman.

"Me," the blonde held a devilish smirk.

"W-what? Is this true Wednesday?" Tyler examined Wednesday to search for the truth.

"Yes it is true. Considering that you obliterated our date, Enid and I will be leaving. I left some cash on the table because of our inconvenience. Don't bother to wait for me to come back because I won't," Wednesday rose to her feet and obtained Enid's fingers, tugging at them to pull Enid away from the booth.

Off they went without sparing a glance behind them when they exited the building. Lurch was waiting in the driver's seat with an open book in hand and his reading glasses on his face. Wednesday opened the back seat door and let Enid go in first. She hopped in and closed the door whereas Lurch turned around to look at the females.

"Home is where we will be going," the girl dressed in all black informed her butler.

Lurch groaned and turned the engine on before putting his book down on the passenger seat. Enid and Wednesday sat in silence for a moment to reflect what went down in the cafe. The werewolf did feel slightly guilty but didn't regret her initiative. Ultimately, she broke the quietness.

"Tyler is gonna think I am a monster. Although, he did cross the line. He just couldn't take the hint of leaving us alone," Enid pinched the bridge of her nose in irritation.

"Tyler has a thick skull which nothing can get through. It's not your fault you acted out because you had the urge to stop him from placing his hand on mine. He doesn't take my boundaries seriously unlike you. I owe you my gratitude. I can tell you were really looking forward to our date," Wednesday reassured the creature.

"Anytime Wednesday, and I really was. At least you played along with my plan when I told Tyler you were taken by me. That will keep him away from you."

"You made up a brilliant idea. The gears in your brain are finally spinning."

Deep down, Enid wished the statement made to Tyler was real. She wanted to admit to Wednesday that she likes her more than a friend. The days and time they've spent together were cherished by Enid. She found them to be memorable and kept them in her memories to remind herself of the fun and crazy adventures she had with the strange individual. Being with Wednesday made Enid fall for her slowly each day.

"Thanks Wens. Something that can cheer us up would be me wolfing out. I can do it when we get home rather than waiting until it gets dark," the blonde girl suggested.

"Do you not need the moon to help you morph?"

"Not necessarily. You are in luck for my little performance I am going to perform for you," Enid flashed a smile.

——————————

"Why are you bringing your pink coat?" Wednesday queried.

"Because after I transform into my human form, I'll be naked. I need my coat to cover my body," Enid illustrated while she tossed her pink clothing on the dead grass.

Right after the ladies were brought home, they dived straight into Enid's transformation. Enid went to fetch her coat from Wednesday's room for a purpose. Currently, both Wednesday and Enid were outside by the hill the Addams family have on their property.

"Should I expect anything else during your transformation?" Wednesday asked further more.

"Nope! Just prepare yourself for the most ferocious animal you'll ever see," Enid smiled before fur was beginning to grow all over her body.

Her bones began cracking as her figure turned larger. Sinclair's face changed with a snout and ears sprouting. Her teeth even grew long and sharp. It took approximately ten seconds for Enid to fully wolf out into a werewolf. Throughout the shifting process, Wednesday couldn't stop herself from evaluating every second of Enid during her process. It fascinated her.

Based on the psychic's observations, the lycan does not have a tail. Yet, she has enlarged fangs and claws. The color of her fur is a light brown, and Enid's eye color remained the same. The werewolf stood over five feet with slender legs, towering Wednesday. Enid grinned contentedly when she was on all fours in front of the raven.

She approached the human steadily so as to not alarm her. The beast halted and sat down on the ground before invading Wednesday's space. The calm gothic stayed still while Enid lowered her head for Wednesday to touch her head, and she did just that. Addams took her hand and placed it on the fur, petting the mythical creature. In her mind, she described the hair to be silky and cozy.

Enid very much loved the way Wednesday's delicate hand laid against her fur and skin. If the werewolf had a tail, she would be wagging it violently. Rather, the lycanthrope leaned her head more into Wednesday's hand which caused the girl to be impacted by a large amount of fur pressed against her. Even Enid had the audacity to lick her hand.

"And this is why I call you a dog," Wednesday gave a stern look at the wolf.

Enid whimpered before nudging Wednesday, causing her to stumble onto the ground. Wednesday was ready to give an earful to the beast until the werewolf laid on the ground and curled herself up behind Addams. Wednesday didn't have a clue as to what her beastly friend was doing when she saw her yawn and leisurely closed her eyes. Enid decided to take a nap next to the hill with Wednesday right by her side.

The psychic had a battle in her mind to choose whether she should take a nap with Enid. Without a care in the world, she gave in and carefully nestled herself on top of Enid's stomach comfortably. With her back against the animal, she gazed for a moment at the now sleeping lycan. Wednesday then turned her head back to the blue sky covered in fluffy, floating clouds above.

While watching the painted sky, Wednesday was able to feel Enid's heart thumping against her chest. The goth put a hand over her own chest to feel the heartbeat beneath her sternum. Just like Enid, both of their hearts matched the rhythm as they were in sync. It became a perfect combination. With that, Wednesday shut her eyes and fell into slumber quickly because of the warm werewolf.
