Summary
Peter stepping into the limelight, as seen through videos.
Note
We're just gonna say that the Avenger's came back and were pardoned after Civil War. And Infinity War and Endgame never happened, because I'm still in post-Endgame denial. Also, the timeline with birthdays and christmas and crap - which will show up eventually - is totally screwy, so don't pay too much attention to that because I know everything is wrong and Tony's birthday should not be one chapter away from Christmas but that's how it's gonna be, so just ignore everything that's wrong and enjoy the videos.

The video opens to the news anchors, James and Sarah, sitting in their little newsroom.

“Welcome back New York City!” James exclaims. “My name is James,”

“And I’m Sarah,” Sarah adds. “Today we are here with a very important story! Almost two years ago, it was revealed that the teenage boy who had captured the attention of the famous, and infamous, billionaire and superhero Tony Stark was fifteen-year-old Peter Parker. In response to that information leak, Peter and his mentor/father figure created a YouTube channel, The Ironfam, where they documented the shenanigans they got into together, along with Peter’s friends Ned, MJ, and Harley, and their pets, Lady, Chloe, and Lucifer. Their channel has nearly twenty million followers, with around thirty videos. Just recently, Peter and his friends decided they would start posting weekly, a decision that earned them a few hundred thousand more followers.”

“Well, just a few days ago, Peter posted a video celebrating his seventeenth birthday,” James takes over. “As with most of their other videos, it went viral - but not for the reasons you’d expect. An anonymous account took to the comments section to make a serious claim - that young Peter Parker was none other than our own friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.”

“Of course, this comment was met by debate, but no comment from any of those involved,” Sarah continues. “Fans took to the comments to debate whether or not this comment should be taken seriously. Many said that it couldn’t be possible; there was no possible way that Peter Parker was Spider-Man.”

“Others weren’t so sure,” James adds. “Many pointed out that Peter, like Spider-Man, is obviously very flexible, along with able to do many acrobatic stunts, as was seen in his video A Day at Dance Class. Others pointed out that Peter and Spider-Man share many other physical traits - height, approximate weight, build. And someone even uploaded a link to their own video - a comparison of Spider-Man’s voice, and Peter’s voice. They were identical.”

“If this wasn’t proof enough,” Sarah breaks in. “This video was sent to us this morning, from a Stark Industries employee who wishes to remain anonymous. Watch.”

Shaky cell-phone footage shows Captain America and Black Widow in a training room through the window, sparring. Suddenly, Spider-Man drops down from the ceiling, and the two older heroes pause what they’re doing and appear to have a conversation. Spider-Man reaches up and pulls off his mask, revealing the young face of Peter Parker. The three heroes share a few more words, before Peter rolls his eyes, pulls his mask back on, and leaps onto the ceiling. He crawls across the ceiling, and out the door.

“As you can see,” James says. “This video seems to offer irrefutable evidence that Peter Parker is indeed Spider-Man. Unless the YouTuber is playing an elaborate prank on the world, it seems that the identity of our mysterious neighborhood hero has been revealed.”

“Nobody from Stark Industries has yet to make any comment,” Sarah begins wrapping it up. “We’ll provide more on this story as more information comes to light.”
