Present
The four teens entered the dilapidated theatre not on a dare but as a friendly arrangement they had heard about how this theatre used to grant dreams and had heaven-touching performances the teens as performers found this extraordinarily interesting
“How do you reckon it operated?” A blonde boy with orange tips spoke up he was wearing a beige sleeveless knitted sweater and a soft yellow shirt completing the look with muted dark brown trousers
“Well, Tsukasa since the theatre was abnormally popular they most likely had the best popularity at the time, hence why now music and arts performers gather here for its history and hidden gems of antique equipment and venues” the tallest one had replied, Rui he had a lot more neater hair then Tsukasa, a lot more tamed, his hair was purple with 2 defining strikes of teal highlight with a matching right teal earring, for clothing he wore a grey shirt with green and white linear lines coming down through it with a white jacket hanging loosely on his lithe shoulders and as a finale, he wore skinny black jeans. Quite the sight. Like a living embodiment of ‘contrast’ his sly yellow eyes flitted across the corridor as they spoke
Nene a shortish green-grey long-haired girl spoke wearing baggy black and grey clothing with soft purple eyes, confirming Rui’s statement, she and Rui had been childhood friends since before middle school.
Emu was ahead of the entire group, her candy pink hair bouncing against her shoulders as she skipped down the hall in a brightly colored attire with a huge puffy rounded dress
This run-down theatre was now a place where small groups and bands came together as a community to give advice and review each other, or simply just practice away from the public or home
Of course this wasn't exactly legal but there were unspoken rules regarding keeping this place as a secret haven
was ‘wonderland x showtimes’ first time ever coming warm greetings were received and sent as they grazed through the liminal space lined with doors with plates displaying band logos and names
They eventually arrived at a door with their logo on the door
Emu entered first her wide pink eyes darting across the room it wasn't the biggest they had ever seen but it was fine for them it was quite a rustic room the walls were crafted out of fine wood that now had damp stains with complementary spots of moss. Beautifully worn wooden frames arched overhead as for the furniture there was a small mirror and chair a coat hanger and two large oak wardrobes taller than even Rui.
There was even the workbench Rui had requested earlier last night had been on a ca;; with a blue-haired girl called Miku, no older than 15, she practically ran the place hence how they even got a room here. Emu skipped through the rooms, a working bathroom with a small shower and a bedroom with 3 beds
“Hm, I swear I asked Miku for a bed for each of us, she knows us well enough by now that we have 4 members, maybe she forgot?” Rui was going to continue but as if on cue his phone buzzed he pulled out the lavender gadget from his pocket. A text
Miku-San: I’m sure you’ve noticed the beds by now! I’m sure you and Tsukasa-kun won't mind sharing (;
Rui’s cheeks flushed quickly covering his lower face with a hand to steady his mind.
“*cough*, Miku just informed me she happened to run out of beds, and I and Tsukasa will share if that's alright with you of course?” He motioned to the nodding star.
Rui turned after seeing the star seeming so unaffected by the situation, he stroked the oak beams on the walls regaining what little of his composure he had left.
“Wa ha ha! Rui don’t worry! This is only a minor setback for a group like us with the future star in it! Ha,” Tsukasa acclaimed loudly with a boisterous laugh. By this time Nene had unpacked her bag onto her bed and already had started to find placement for her and Emu in one of the wardrobes.
Rui muttered something across the lines of ‘ah alright’ and took the intuitive to join in unpacking things.
The group had split across what could now be called their apartment. Rui’s parents were never present throughout his life, often left alone whilst they were on business trips. To him this wasn’t the most shocking thing but some of the other like Tsukasa had always had his little sister to visit in the hospital when he was young, and usually now he’d go home everyday to her and sometimes make dinner for her, Tsukasas parents were more present though but most attention had been directed towards Saki as her condition was prioritised.
No one knew much about Nenes family at all, she was just the local hikonomori who you’d find sat down in a hallway at school with headphones and her consoles, the teachers had repriamened her various times for bringing them to school but it didnt seem to bother her as the next day Nene would simply come in with a different device.
Emu has a sister and two older brothers, but they arent often talked about in discussions anymore.
