Every single member of the Fantastic Four were now laid up in the hospital thanks to Victor Von Doom and his Doombots. There was no other option but to call in the Avengers. They were New York’s last hope. Again. And it was getting kind of old.
Bruce had never been much for violence. The Other Guy just made it kind of unavoidable half the time. But he had to admit the monologue-ing idiot in front of him kind of made him want to rip his head off. Which wasn’t very good for his whole keep-the-Other-Guy-under-control situation. But no one really blamed him when he hulked out and walked up to the little fool and punched him into the ground until he made little more than a dent in the cement while the others took care of the robots flying about. Victor groaned, just as Loki did that one time, and Bruce went off to get some nice Earl Gray tea and order some pizzas for his friends. They were always extremely hungry after a fight.
