Chapter 2
Kaveh watched as Tighnari took off her coat. She looked angry. "Nari? Are you okay?" Tighnari sighed, rubbing her temples. "I'm sorry, Kaveh. I just had a fight Cyno, that's all." Kuni then stood from her seat, approaching the two. "What did you two fight about?" Nari sighed once again. "He came home late. Again. This is the 4th time this week. And he got mad when I asked him about it. He said he's tired from work and he really doesn't need to hear me nag him regarding something so shallow." Tighnari's eyes brimmed up with tears. "Is it so wrong that I'm worried for my husband? I love him so, naturally, I'd worry! Especially with his line of work!" Tighnari sobbed, wiping her tears away. Collei then opened the door, a mug of coffee with her. "Mrs. Minci? I have your coffee." And as the scent of the coffee entered the room, Tighnari gagged. She immediately ran to the bathroom to throw up. Kaveh and Kuni followed her, worried. "Hey, Nari? Are you okay?" Kaveh asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just a bit nauseous from the scent of coffee." Kaveh noted what Tighnari looked. She was pale. She looked like she would pass out at any given moment. And she was right. Because as soon as Tighnari stood up to get out of the bathroom, she fainted, only to be caught by Kuni. Kaveh cursed as she immediately asked Collei to get Alhaitham.
Cyno rushed into the clinic to see his wife lying on the medical bed, asleep. Faruzan walked in with Tighnari's chart, looking quite shocked. "What's wrong with Tighnari? What happened to her?" Cyno paced the clinic room, nervous. "Calm down, Cyno. This was kinda your fault to begin with. You haven't been paying attention to your wife's health. If Kaveh and Kuni never told me what Tighnari told them, I would have taught she was doing something else. Anyways, your wife collapsed from extreme stress and anxiety. And there are also some 'other' factors that I'll discuss with you two once she wakes up." A groan then came from the medical bed and the 2 turned to see Tighnari sitting up. Cyno immediately ran to her, hugging her tight. Tighnari raised an eyebrow. "Cyno?" Cyno reached for her cheeks. "Baby, tell me what you feel. Don't bottle up your emotions." Tighnari nodded before they both turned to Faruzan. "It's good that you're awake now, Tighnari. How are you feeling?" "I'm okay. Just a little dizzy." "Okay. So, Tighnari, you fainted because of the extreme stress this dimwit caused you. I'm hoping there's none of those in the future. It's not good for your baby." Cyno's jaw dropped as Tighnari's eyes widened. "Baby!?" The two questioned in unison. "Yeah. The baby in your belly. Congratulations, you two. Mrs. Minci is pregnant."
"I'm gonna be an auntie!" Collei cheered after hearing the news about her sister's pregnancy. Kaveh laughed. "I say we have dinner together! You, Cyno, me, Haitham, considering Cyno will invite him, and Kuni!" Kuni shook her head. "Yeah, I'm not going to be a third wheel for the 4 of you. I'll pass." "Then I'll ask Cyno to ask Heizou to go with you then!" Kuni's cheeks flushed as she smacked Kaveh's shoulder. "Don't you dare!" "Already did." Kuni groaned, hitting Kaveh on the shoulders. "Why would you do that!? That's embarrassing!" Tighnari laughed as she watched her colleagues fight. Collei then said her goodbyes before leaving. After leaving, the door opened and in walked Zhongli, Ayato, Pantalone, and Diluc. With them were baskets of fruits and bouquets of flowers. "Congratulations, Tighnari!" "Congratulations!" "Congratulations, Nari!" "Congratulations." The mother-to-be laughed at her friends. "Thank you, everyone."
"Oh my gosh! I'm gonna be a grandma, Jean! I'm gonna be a grandma!" Tighnari giggled as she watched her mother-in-law cheer. Lisa hugged Tighnari. "Thank you for giving me the chance to be a grandma, Nari." Razor then walked in, her bag slumped over her shoulder. "Razor, come quick! Cyno and Tighnari are here!" Razor quickly ran to the living room where her brother and sister-in-law sat. "Hi, Nari. Hi, Brother. How have you two been?" Tighnari smiled. "We've been great, Razor." Lisa beamed. "Razor, Nari and Cyno have something to say so have a seat, darling." Razor took a seat before Tighnari smiled. "Razor, dear. You know how you've always said you felt lonely without anyone to take care of?" Razor nodded. "Well, I have news for you! I'm having a baby!" Razor gasped. "I'm gonna be an auntie?" Tighnari giggled, nodding. "Yes, dear." Razor stood from her seat to hug Tighnari. "Oh, thank you so much, Nari!" The fennec only smiled as she hugged her sister-in-law back.
