I’ll always need you.
Alex woke up at 9:55am. She was asleep for a while, and wasn’t quite aware of what was going on. She sat up and saw Kara lying in the bed next to her.
“Oh my God, Kara,” she said. She tried to get up but her leg stung “ah!” She cried. She saw Kara wake up.
“Alex? Hey. You okay?” Kara asked. Alex was in pain, but she nodded.
“Don’t worry about me baby girl. What about you? I heard what happened. Are you ok?” Alex asked, concerned.
“I’ll be okay. I just have to live with this for now. I hope officer Polio was arrested” Kara replied.
“I heard Roy’s dad is taking care of Polio” Alex told her. Kara was silent for a moment.
“C.. can I lay with you?” Kara asked. This made Alex happy.
“Of course you can” Alex replied. Kara got up from her bed and so did Alex, despite being in pain, she helped Kara over to her bed and then helped her in. Alex wrapped her arms around as Kara snuggled into her sister’s arms.
“I like this” Alex said.
“What do you mean?” Kara asked, confused.
“This; us just snuggling. I know you have all of your friends now, and it just made me think you don’t need me anymore” Alex told her. Kara let out a laugh.
“I’ll always need you Alex! You’re my sister” Kara tells her. Alex smiles and kisses Kara’s forehead.
“Good” Alex said.
