Opertation Wayhaught and Sanvers.
Almost One Month After Kara died and came back to life.
Waverly Earp knew her feelings for Nicole weren't just platonic. She loved the way it felt when Nicole hugged her, or touched her arms. It was like a wave of electricity sparked throughout her veins. She had feelings for young Haught. She just didn't know how to handle it. So she decided to talk to someone she knew, was gay. And that was Alex Danvers. She called up Alex one Saturday afternoon and asked if they could talk over some food at Big Belly Burger, (Waverly of course, ordered a veggie burger) . Alex fully took the offer, I mean, who could say 'no', to food?
Alex pulled up into a parking spot of Big belly burger and met up with Waverly inside. They ordered one veggie burger meal with a large orange soda and one double cheeseburger with extra fries and a large pepsi. Ordering to go when Waverly noticed people giving nasty looks at them. It made her feel worse. No, it made her feel terrified. But Alex was Wynonna's best friend, she is Wynonna's best friend, so she knows she'd have full support from Alex, her (Waverly's) sister and of course, Kara. They took their order and ate back at Alex and Kara's house. Who ordered a burger of her own.
"So, Little Earp, what's up?" Alex said as she took a bite into her burger.
"Um, how do I put this in a way I won't offend you.. When did you learn you weren't.." she paused for a second, "into men" she finished. Alex laughed awkwardly. That was a story she didn't enjoy telling. She was fifteen, her and Wynonna got invited to one of the cool kids parties and they had one too many to drink, they were underaged but they didn't really give a fuck. After two drinks, they had a make out session. It wasn't intense, and nothing else happened outside of the two of them drunkenly kissing. They were both out of their minds by this point. Wynonna and Alex both really felt stupid the next morning, but yet, Alex enjoyed it. She had this weird feeling, kissing a girl, and it was a really nice one. Her love for Wynonna remained platonic, but her attraction to women was more than just a drunken kiss after that.
"Well, I was about 15, so two years ago, I was at a party and got drunk. then I made out with.." Alex's voice trailed off. Waverly and Kara starred, interested in who she kissed. "Your sister" she finished. Waverly choked on her veggie burger. Kara's eyes went wide.
"I'm sorry," Waverly started, taking a sip of her drink, "you and my sister?" she exclaimed, "as in my sister Wynonna?" she asked.
"Yes, but we didn't go any further than a make out and we both asked 'do you wanna make out', " Alex replied, as natural as ever. "Why do you ask, baby Earp? have somebody on your mind?" she asked.
"In fact I do.." she began, thinking of a way to confess the truth, "It's Nicole" she finished. Kara pumped her fists in the air. "We've gotten closer over the past few weeks, almost a month, and I really like her" she confessed.
"I knew it! haha!" She said happily as she shoved a mouth full of fries into her mouth. "she definitely has a crush on you" she spoke after she finished chewing.
"You think so?" Waverly asked, a tad bit of hope filled her voice. Kara nodded so fast, a normal human probably would've lost their head. Alex grabbed her head to stop her from nodding.
"Calm down" Alex told her. Kara mumbled sorry.
"Yes, I'm pretty sure the moment she met you, she liked you. You can ask her tonight" Kara said.
"Tonight?" Waverly asked, confused.
"Yes" Alex and Kara said simultaneously . "Sara Lance's party" Kara added.
"Oh my God! that is tonight" Waverly exclaimed, almost forgetting about it, she shifted her attention towards Alex, "are you going?" she asked Alex.
"Fuck yeah, I'm going. The Lance's parties are legendary! That's why Sara and her little friend circle are known as "Legends" at school. (pun 1009% INTENDED)" she exclaimed, "And you know.." Alex's voice trailed off, "Maggie's gonna be there," she said in a quiet voice. Kara and Waverly let out small giggles and whispered to one another like the typical teenage girls they are. Planning a way to get Sawyer and Alex together.
"Plus, I have to babysit your" Alex pointed at Waverly, "sister tonight. She hasn't met Sara yet, but something tells me those two together, drunk, is not going to end well" Alex told her best friend's little sister.
"You're probably right" Waverly replied as she took another bite of her veggie burger.
"It's almost time to go" Kara said, checking her phone, "I am going to get dressed and then fly to Lena's house" Kara told her friends. "Thanks for the food Alex" she said, kissing her sister's cheek. and running towards the stairs to get ready.
Geoffrey Lance, the oldest of Quentin's children, throughout his high school years, threw the most legendary parties up until he had to leave for college. Laurel wanted to focus on school and cheer, so her sister, Sara, took up the mantle and threw equally amazing parties. If you were invited, it meant you were seen as not cool, but cooler than cool. Almost everyone in the school was invited, with the exception of the B crowd and Tucker Gardner and his sister Beth, who weighed on him hand and foot. even though she was well aware of how the little creep acted around women. Mercedes Gardner on the other hand, was invited, because she didn't enable Tucker's creepy behavior.
Kara got ready and flew to Lena's house. It was time for operation "Wayhaught and Sanvers".
